Stalker!! Shymmex wasn't even online then. Who are you ppl for real?

Anywaz, that age was a joke. I've never been to a club o, abeg. add 25 to 21-23

I'm not a stalker, I saw the comment on a thread... grin grin grin grin

I used to think you were tpia's age, till I saw it last week..

FYI, I've been lurking for time - but I didn't really know much about naija (politics and history) then to post anything sensible.. And I never used to get along with naija girls to be honest.

I'm the oldest woman on this thread.

TBH, there is no specific age for marriage, the number is subjective.

Didn't you say you were 22, or 23?

Stop lying about your age, I'll dig out your comments two years ago where you said you were 21 - and talked about the first time you were allowed to get into a club.

Not 'bout on paper, can you cook in the kitchen? Does it look like food when you're done? Does it taste like food?

How do you think I've survive the last 5 years living by myself?

I get busy in the kitchen... I just made some pasta, and beef soup. undecided undecided

Ileke-IdI:

Who said I can't cook? Like queensmith said, I can and do cook when i want to. I don't eat much, so I have no reason to cook much. As of this point, I have someone who cooks for me and who I cook for, I don't have to slave int he kitchen like some village Nigerian wife.

Can you cook? It's very distasteful of a man to grow up in a household full of women yet still lacks the basic kitchen knowledge.

I can cook ogbono, beef stew, eba, poundo, and ground rice... grin grin grin

Romance / Re: Why Gender Equality Is Detrimental To Women - And Not Ideal For A Sane World by shymex(m): 12:12am On Jun 19, 2012
ronkebp:

True-dat!!! well that is what some men have caused. they have really gone far, now we have so many moral decadence because of inadequate parenting. you will see a 12yr or 13 yr old having all this sexaul imaginations and practising it, so many 12 yr olds have gone crazy...now, the 18 and 19 year olds are the new grannies.

i was driving back from work on friday and i saw this little girl, she should not be more than 15 yrs of age, walking down the street with her friend, if you had seen what she was wearing, this one is shorter than the bum-shorts, see her "cheeks" showing, all in the name of being "sexy", omo, i imagined if it was my daughter, i would have stripped her n/a/ked on that same street, since she wants to obviously expose all her private/parts. But am sure if you asked her where her parents was, they are at work working double shifts.

That's what I'm saying, my sister... The mothers have left parenting to the internet, and hip videos - all in the name of feminism.. You need meet some of these rich and middle-class family kids, they're worse than kids raised in the slums..

There's always a limit to everything - but it seems most modern women are going overboard with this counterproductive ideology..

How's life treating you, anyway?
Romance / Re: Why Gender Equality Is Detrimental To Women - And Not Ideal For A Sane World by shymex(m): 11:38pm On Jun 18, 2012
ronkebp:
That is one of the characteristics of a woman....they are born to overdo things because of their emotional make-up, some women who are feminist are doing it because of what they have personally suffered in the hands of men or have seen women suffer in the hands of men and because of how emotional they are, go overboard with their attitudes. The whole idea is to resent the chauvinistic men and prove to them that they are better in everyway.

But how far have they gone with that? It has made the world more insane, with women being inadequate in the aspect of motherhood.. At the end of the whole pseudo-equality - the kids, and family suffer, hence, why the divorce rate has skyrocketed..

Family values are non-existent in the modern world, due to feminism...

Why are you complaining about feminists though? You don't see the funny irony between this your thread and the one of you complaining about having to work hard for women? Lol.

Yeah, I want women to also play a role in the family - but it becomes problematic, when they start going overboard..

There has to be a limit to everything.
Romance / Re: Why Gender Equality Is Detrimental To Women - And Not Ideal For A Sane World by shymex(m): 11:26pm On Jun 18, 2012
ronkebp: Ogugua....i really agree with the points you have raised. I was telling a co-worker today, about how majority of irresponsible men have driven the women out to fend for themselves and their children. Everything has been misplaced. You cannot really eat have your cake and also eat it; something has to 'give'.

Marraiges back then had a clear-cut role, the husband knows they are the sole provider, the women know their the care-takers, when the whole position has been turned upside-down, there is really nothing anyone can do. A man wants an independent wife and a 'real' wife, the truth is you can't have it all, you will either get a real woman or an independent woman, or a percentage of each with one dominating the other.

I'm not talking about men who want to eat their cake and have it at the same time. My arguments are against women who thrive in the delusion that they're equal to men...

I'm talking about women who like to challenge men, when it isn't necessary.. Such women would want to prove a point, and go left, when men are going right.. No one is saying women shouldn't be independent, but some women just overdo everything to prove a pseud-point - that's unnecessary to be honest. Hence, putting themselves in a more difficult situation..

ogugua88:

Men created the sissified man though.

@Shymmex

Hillary Clinton only has a daughter. Condoleezza Rice has no children. Margaret Thatcher had a flamboyant son who went his own way. Those women could afford to be war-hungry lol. On a serious note, I don't think anyone, man or woman, would engage in wars if their children were on the front lines.

Some things go without saying. When one starts drawing a line and dividing who is to do what because of gender, things become more complicated. Men start dictating to women what they should and should not be doing. Women fight back, saying they can do anything and everything.
I don't think women are trying to outdo men in the corporate world though. Women receive lesser pay and face discrimination and harassment every day based on their gender.

Would women be rushing to work if men were responsible and could work to maintain his family and the home that contains them? Would men be looking for more homely wives if women were respectful and understanding of the fact that there are some duties that women should do? We only have ourselves to blame for what society has become and continues to become.

A few days ago, you created a post asking why you have to work your socks off for women. If you don't work to your fullest potential as a man, then a woman will either work to make up what you lack or find someone else who works harder than you do. Woman compliments man like a key compliments a lock.

Oguagua, you're not a feminist - you're more of a moderate woman..

My arguments are against feminists.

I know you are all used to fooling yourselves on this forum, but this kind of talk is way beyond the normal delusion.

This kind of talk indicates you have an imbalanced mental state. Anyway too much talking isn't going to help you.

i advise you seek medical attention immediately.

Stop spewing ignorance, bruv.. Africans are the most beautiful people in the world..

It's just that we've been programmed subconsciously to believe a certain type of beauty is the real beauty - through the media..

I'll pick anything darkskinned over any pale looking thing.
