Its is nt a bad idea anyway cos, since d removal of N100, most banks like Access bank delibrately make der ATM nt to work cos dey dnt gain anytin from d users. Some banks dat v 4 ATM machines do put 3 out of service leaving only 1. I rather part wit N65 dan paying for bike moving from one ATM to d other to make a withdrawal. Its either d crowds der scares u or only one is ATM working. |

I can be crucified for sleeping with the gal, but all I care is that I love the gal from the depth of my heart and she has been returning the love back to me. She is matured to the earth than gals I have dated in the past. Its upto 1yr and 6months now that I brought her, she has never given me any concern to doubt her sincerity. I have already left her with my daughter in the care of my immediate younger sister. I will be sending her money for der school fees, provisions etc. By God's grace I plan to come back when she turns 20yrs to officially propose to her, if everything works out, I will pay her dowry. Yes it waz consensual, I never forced her, we talked abt it and planned for it. Before them, she told me she had a boy had sex with her once because she knew I waz avoiding having sex with, whe I finally had sex wit her, I discovered it waz nt true. She apologized and said she does not want me to forget about her. There waz a mutual understanding and agreement in everythin we do. She has never for once felt guilty or that I am exploiting her. She right now in Ghana studying because the man in question is sponsoring her in school. When she came to Nigeria for holiday, she came to see her daughter and pleaded that I shuld continue to take care of her, that when she finishes her school next year, she will finally take her daughter to stay with her. We relate well, she calls me to ask after her daughter's welfare, she do send tins too to her through her parents. |

This is 7yrs now I got married, my marriage produced one kid, a 4yrs old girl. I waz transferred to Awka from Lagos. I met my wife and we started dating. Along d line she conceived, I knew I waz responsible for her pregnancy, I never denied becaused I loved her so much. When her parents confronted me, I told them that I waz in love with their daughter and would want to marry her. The girl in turn accepted me. I went with my people with cartons of beer, hot drinks, cartons of malt and mineral to do the formal introduction which Igbo people calls iku aka n'onu uzo meaning to knock at the door. After that I waz giving a list of what wuld be required for dowry. I travelled with my people to her place at Abia state to pay her dowry. She put to bed a bouncing baby girl. I later started making an arrangement for our traditional wedding. It waz then I begin to notice a change in her behaviour. She turned herself into anoda thing, dresses like a harlot and keeping male friends. She waz no where to do the cookings for me, wash my cloths and do the domestic works. I complained to her parents and all they say is she is old enough to differenciate good and bad. She became more attached to her parents and never cared about me and my daughter. Sometimes she would abandon us for one week in the name of acting movies. I stood against it that she won't act movies, I can empower her to do any other thing but not acting movies. Before I knew it, she started dating one man that is a big fish in the entertainment industry. She even moved in and lived with the man. I got an information and travelled down to Asaba to see her but she refused to show me where she lives. I called my family members to intimate them what waz happening. When we visited her parents, from their body language, we knew they were in support of the life their daughter waz living. We then left and my family told me to forget abt her, take care of my daughter and move on with my life. I could not cope with my job and looking after my daughter because I do virtually everything from domestic works, cooking, bathing my kid, taking her and bringing her back from school. I had to look for a househelp, I got a gal of 17yrs old and I registered her in SS 3. The gal waz so good, very hardworking, honest and obedient. She washes my cloths, iron them, polishes my shoes etc. My daughter waz so fond of her. I realized that I missed so much love and care while my wife abandoned us. I realized then the joy marriage brings, my life waz put back on track, I became a happy man again. What I like more about the gal is that she made me limit my going out and staying late at night because she always make sure that she calls me once it is 8pm to return home for my dinner, the way she serves me food and clears the table when I am done, makes me so happy. I want to be honest here, I waz carried away by her love and care and finally made love to her. I took away her virginity and that has made me to love her more. I provide everything for her to ensure she does nt look outside. Now I am thinking of making this gal my wife bt our age difference is the problem. While I am 40yrs, she will be 18yrs in October. Please before you people insults me, I waz blinded with love to d extent that her age means noting to me because she is matured down to earth. The way she manages money makes me to open a savings account for her where I pay in money monthly for our feedings. She withdrawals money whenever we need to cook, at d end of the day, I am always suprise when I see the balance. Now I am planning to go back to Lagos, I have taken her and my daughter to my immediate younger sister where they will continue their school next term. She calls me everyday to find out how I am fairing and if I have eaten. I don't know how to come out and tell my family what I feel about the gal because they may end up telling me that I am a mad man, how can I marry a gal of 18yrs when their are more matured, working class and classy girls out their to choose from. I work, could you believe she once came to my working place to make trouble with me for an ordinary matter we could have resloved at home? She did this just to embarass me in the presence of my colleagues. As for my father, the mystry sorrounding my birth and who my biological father waz, is wot I have not been able to unravel because my mother is not helping matter. I am aware that both I and my sister came from different man. My father as I waz meant to understand is a yoruba man from Ondo state while that of my sister is an Edo man, my sister been a woman and a married woman for that matter has beared her husband name, its needless for her looking for her father. In my own case, I have made efforts to locate my father, but my mother has been fraustrating me, she claims she only know my father's name and the state he comes from but does nt know his town or village. I learnt she lived with the man in the barracks after the civil war, he waz in the army. She conceived for my father, her parents threatened her to come back home if my father waz not ready to pay her bride price. After she returned home, my father later came to inform them that he waz ready for the bride price, rather than my mother accepting my father, she ran away and fraustrated my father's move to marry her. My father with annoyance left and never returned. He does nt even know wether my mother delivered me or not and if at all she delivered me, he does not know wether it waz a boy or gal. If I have a means or locating my father, I could have done that long tym ago at least to have a sense of belonging. This is the situation I v found myself. 2 Likes |

My mother had us two out of wedlock. I and my sister. She left us at a tender age to got married to a man, she beared 6 children for d man, 5 boys and 1 girl. The man is now late. We grew up living wit our grand parents. I can say that my grand parents were the parents I knew. It waz after some years that I and my sister began to realize that we have a biological mother because, she never showed us love, she barely visits us, grand parents were catering for our education etc. Their first son waz supportive, making sure that we lack noting. During holidays, he wuld send his driver to pick us up for a holiday, while coming back, he would buy us cloths, give us sch fees and pocket money. All this while, our mother waz comfortable with her husband and children. I and my sister never for once visited them to spend holidays. We grew up and finished our secondary school, we knew very well that she has never shown us any care but that never bothered us as we were eager to make our grand parents and their first son happy at leat, to repay back to them what they spent on us. I waz lucky to get a job after my seconday school, my sister waz fortunate to get married. Our mother discriminated us, she never see anyting good in us, the hatred waz obvious, she succeded in causing a division among us and her other 6 children, we now see ourselves as enemies, we can't relate as brothers and sisters, to make the matter worse, after the death of her husband, she abandoned her husband place to relocate back to her late parents house where I live presently with their first son. Her brother gave me a room. My mother has made life unbearable for me, he calls me names, she repeatedly boasted that her other 6 children will be better than me, she is also not in good term with her elder brother and she wanted me to join her in fighting him, I told her that I can't bite the finger that fed me, when she abandoned us, it waz the man and her wife that assisted our grand parents to make sure that we went to school, how then do I fight a man who has not wronged me in any way. I became her enemy for refusing to join her in fighting her brother. She accused me of things I know noting about. That waz same thing my sister suffered in her hands before she finally got married, even wen she put to bed n called her to come and assist her, she went their and caused problem, she insulted my sister's husband, the man had to bring her back with annoyance and sworn that she will never come to his house again whenever his wife puts to bed. I had to rent a house and moved out of our compound. When my rent expired, our family members had to prevail on me to return, that I can't be paying rent when I have a room. My mother has consistently fraustrated every move to make her return to her husband house. I am now trying to gather money and relocate to either Enugu or Lagos since my family members are against me renting a house in our town. I don't know if other people born out of wedlock are passing through same thing I and my sister are passing through. Please your advices are welcomed. 1 Like |

This is why I get mad seen soldiers dying in action cos these country does not worth dying for. Everybody is saying rest in peace but nobody have asked what will Nigeria do for these gallant officer to ensure that his family does not suffer now their breadwinner is gone. I am speaking out of experience cos my life is full of regrets after risking my life serving this country only for us to be dumped and uncared for after leaving the service. Every year govt will spend millions of naira in the name of celebrating armed forces remebrance day. They will lay wreaths on the boot of an unknown soldiers, make promises to the living ones and then go to sleep and wait for the coming year to deceive them again. It is in this country that govt recognize and appreciate militants more than the vetrans that shed their blood and laid down their lives for this nation to remain one entity. This is 3yrs now that govt is owing military pensioners and other federal pensioners 53% pension arrears. The worst thing now is that they are referring to the military pensioners as unproductive sector. When this old vetrans were facing the bullets in civil war and others military operations both within and outside Nigeria, nobody referred to them as unproductive. How are they encouraging the ones still in the active service that their future is secured after leaving the service. RIP to the gallant officer. |
