Celebrities / Re: D'banj: Why I Kept My Marriage To Didi Kilgrow A Secret by Simon21(m): 4:57am On Aug 08, 2017
That is one wise man right there. At least you save people the noise associated with these so-called celebrity marriages and relationships, today they are all gushing and making noise about how their partners are angels and mean the world to them, tomorrow when the marriage crashes they twist their tongue to tell the world how evil and horrible things about the same partner.

For m.i and all those western wannabes supporting him who are so mad at the law, why don't you challenge the law and declare yourself openly as gay and see what happens

Maybe if he wasn't trying too hard to be sarcastic he wouldn't have gotten the "racist" remarks on him. He is apparently not a manchester united fan but wanted to make mockery of the club. The "racist" comments were bad but he got what was coming for him.

Perhaps if many educated and knowledgeable Edo citizens had sensitised others, they would have received their money and still voted their conscience. Don't you think so?
You're right, but poverty has eating deep down into the people that they forget to do what is right at the slightest chance of getting money. Even oshiomole was a known crusader of "collect their money and vote for your conscience". Bizarre!

The previous comrade governor of Go and Die handed over to another Go and Die governor.
Edo people are in trouble.
APC is the worst thing to happen in our country.
I just pity my edo people, we had the chance to get it right during the last governorship election and we blew it by collecting money to mortgage the future. Apc knew they were to lose that election and they came up with the strategy of bribing voters... i pray for my edo state, may God rescue us.

They should have killed her..it would have made more sense..

People like this woman collected #2000 to vote for obaseki. People like this woman would not want to hear anything BIAFRA..

We can't assume she collected money to vote for obaseki but i pray that people who collected money to vote for obaseki meet such fate and even worse.

Sports / Warriors Beat Cavaliers 129-120 In Game 5 To Win 2017 NBA Championship by Simon21(m): 7:03am On Jun 13, 2017
The Golden State Warriors won the 2017 NBA Championship after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 129-120 in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday night. Golden State went on a 15-0 run in the second quarter to turn a deficit into a double-digit lead, and the Warriors never trailed from that point on. Kevin Durant was sensational, totaling 39 points, seven rebounds and five assists on his way to being named 2017 NBA Finals MVP. Stephen Curry added 34 points, six rebounds and 10 assists, while Andre Iguodala notched a 2017 postseason-high 20 points off the bench.

When the NBA Finals began, only one of the seven 2017 All-Stars involved in the series lacked a championship on their career resume. That all changed when Kevin Durant joined the club at the conclusion of Game 5 on Monday night, and he added a Finals MVP trophy to his collection to boot. In doing so, he joined Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players in NBA history to win at least four scoring titles and one NBA title.

With their season on the line, Cleveland came out of the gate with the desperation of a team facing elimination. They made six of their first seven shot attempts and took a 13-9 lead on back-to-back layups by Kyrie Irving and LeBron James off of consecutive Warriors’ turnovers. James would add a jumper at the 6:26 mark to increase the Cavaliers’ advantage to 20-12, but that would prove to equal Cleveland’s largest lead of the entire night. Trailing 30-25 with 2:17 remaining in the opening quarter, Stephen Curry and Patrick McCaw would combine for six consecutive free throws to put Golden State momentarily back in front, but a 5-0 Cavaliers’ run to close the frame would put the Dubs behind 37-33 at the end of one.

James provided the first two baskets of the second quarter to rebuild Cleveland’s eight-point advantage, but it would only dwindle from there. David West cut the deficit in half with consecutive scores, after which Andre Iguodala brought Golden State within two with a thunderous one-handed jam.

As the confetti rained down from the rafters, the Warriors embraced each other and raised the NBA Championship Trophy at center court amid raucous cheers from the Oracle Arena crowd. In winning Game 5, Golden State finished the 2017 postseason with a 16-1 (.941) mark, the best single-season winning percentage in NBA postseason history. Their average point differential of plus-13.5 points per game in the playoffs ranks as the second-best mark in NBA postseason history behind only the 1971 Milwaukee Bucks (plus-14.5). Kevin Durant was presented with the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP Trophy after averaging 35.2 points, 8.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists in the series to join Magic Johnson and Moses Malone as the only players in NBA history to win Finals MVP in their first season with their team.

Good evening guys, here's my transcript:
Got to the embassy at about 5:45am, after all the security and documents check that started by 6am.. We were on the queue (I was 3rd on the queue) waiting for the vos to arrive and 2 vos came at about 6:55am one was the lady that denied me last week and the cgi guy directed the 2 guys before me to her, the other vo who was at window 5 beckoned on me to come & here it goes:
Vo: good morning and how are you
Me: fine and you
Vo: pass me your passport and I20
Me: passed them to him
Vo: why did you choose the Uhv?
Me: the Uhv was recommended to me by a lecturer in the University I graduated from who is also an international study consultant and I did my research on the school and discovered the school has great research facilities as a public research University which aligns with my interest because I intend to do a research on how information technology innovations can be used to develop local businesses and retailers and this would help me in contributing my quota to improving on the economy of Nigeria which is presently on a downturn (vo cuts in)
Vo : what do you intend to do with this when you return to Nigeria?
Me: I intend to work as an information systems consultant and set up an IT firm to help local businesses or companies and retailers succeed here in Nigeria (vo cuts in again)
Vo: how many schools did you apply to?
Me: 3 schools
Vo : name the schools
Me: mtsu,cmu and Uhv
Vo: how old are you? (Hian! See question)
Me: 26
Vo: when did you graduate?
Me: November 2014
Vo: what school did you graduate from?
Me: University of Benin
Vo: what course did you study
Me: electrical/electronics engineering

Then he started typing for about 20 secs and stopped and looked at me and said
Vo: where does Patrick live?
Me: (thinking mogbe! This guy na white wizard? How u take know my brother? Then I remembered he's looking at my ds160 on the computer ) he lives in Manvel, Texas
Vo: who is he to you?
Me: he's my elder brother
Vo: are you going to be staying with him when you get to the US?
Me: chuckled and said no I'll be staying at jaguar hall which is the accommodation provided by the school
Vo: what does Patrick do for a living?
Me: he's an oil and gas project engineer working with a & b incorporation
Vo: how did Patrick get into the US?
Me: he got into the US from the UK through the job he was offered in the US
Vo: is he elder or junior to you?
Me: (shebi I don first tell you before ni) elder

Then he starts typing again and I stood there firing prayers in my mind, then he said
Vo: did you write any test?
Me: yes I wrote the gmat
Vo: how did you perform?
Me: fair.. 16 verbal 36 quantitative (he cuts in)
Vo: do you have your report here
Me: yes and passed it him

Then he looks at it and returns it to me and continued his typing....then I noticed he has separated my I20 from my passport then I started expecting good news, after typing for long he returns my i20 and gave me a white paper and said
Vo: pick up your visa in 3 business days from today and have a nice stay in the US
Me: thank you
And I ran out and started shaking all the security men out of excitement, one hustler ran to me and said I should give him something for d celebration, as I gave him 100naira Na so the rest rush me o.I run for my life o

I thank God and the gurus here, Mr oludare may God
Enlarge your coast, Mr Walspring God make you bigger... To all preparing for interview may God change your hustle from "how to answer visa interview questions" to "how to get flight bookings and dollars".. AMEN!!!!.. I know say wetin I write too much abeg make una bear with me, it is my story of grace..
