Thank you for your incisive low down. He happened to be our course mate. I was with eskay thru Afms and still remember his admission into NDA(ACA as we popularly called it). He was brilliant and a perfect officer as well as a gentleman. He jokingly told me that I had grown taller than Afms days when I saw him after Afms. Was always happy to see him as he was one of the persons that motivated me always(moments with him were priceless). I recall the call I received from him in 2007 about been posted to my state(Bayelsa...JTF) saying " O boy motiwasi iluyin" and I was so glad feeling that my main man was in town. We travelled often from J Town to Lag back then in Afms.
I had to go to KD from Otukpo were I was serving as a Corp member to actually Anchor(MC) his wedding reception as I was excited that my Bro was getting married.Hmmmmm
I visited him at Bori Camp earlier this year in his office and he was very charming as always. My Eskay....you were more than a friend to me. An inspiration, course mate, pillar. Its very well. You even told me that you were getting set for my wedding when it will take place (2015)....still hold that gist in my mind.

A prayer is fervent when your focus is in it i.e you are praying with all of you been involved(your spirit,heart and soul) in the prayer without distractions and with faith knowing that when you pray,God hears you always.There will be a note of witness in your spirit cos its heart felt.

That one is a police officer in a country like ours does not mean he/she cannot make Heaven.He/she sure can and i know very much that not all of them are the same.As long as he/she has received the life of Christ into hi/her spirit means he/she is part of the body of Christ.

I agree with you hence the need to intercede (bearing each other up in love) because it takes a heart of love to intercede and pray for another who is in a situation in life.
Always look out for that privilege to pray for people as it is a seed that you are sowing in helping another stand strong against all odds that they might be facing as at the time.Its our responsiblity to pray for one another as it is our duty(based on the call of God in our lives). You can make that difference today in someone's life via your prayer of intercession.You do not need to know the person in particular to pray for him/her.LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN.

God is indeed good and gracious to us all everytime. He has granted us life that we live on earth, making us be his ambassadors here on earth. History has it that the church has been facing a lot of challenges  from other people where many had to be hanged,tortured and murdered for the sake of the gospel(good news) of Jesus Christ.
It has continued even until recent times where we see on T.V reports some rather disturbing details about how christains are tortured, stopped from place of worship, some churches are burnt ,some even bombed like that of yesterday's incident in suleja so as to create fear and panic among the christains forgetting that in all these things we are more than conquerors.Against all odds we are still making impact
Its time that we intercede for our fellow brethren in troubled areas if we haven't been doing so before even as some of us have the privilege of being in rather safe places of worship anytime enjoying the liberty of God.The word says '' I urge , then, first of all, that requests, prayers , intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone, for kings and all those in authority, 1 Tim 2vs 1-2a.

We thank God that it was overturned but it only shows that we have to intercede for the body of Christ and his saints that are in troubled areas or rather volatile(anti christian) community/states. The gospel will prevail in the nations of the earth by the Spirit of God.

Giving in church is done as an act of faith and its a willing thing not under compulsion.It creates an avenue to be a part of it.You should know that God loves one who gives willingly from his heart in response to his word and ability in you.
We do not go to church to show ourselves but to hear the word and fellowship with other believers because we are not to forsake the assembly of the saints.
