Naija singer Uru, who lives in California but is spending more time in Africa nowadays, has been appointed a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador.
In November she will travel to South Africa in order to take part in UN media events, conferences and performances.
Uru: "It gives me a chance do do something worthwhile for my continent it is great to be given this opportunity"

Not choosing her songs very well , there is a twist to that one.
She can sing, that's for sure. What she cannot do is write, and therefore she is
reliant on others (her producers) to pick the songs for her.
She is also not exactly blessed with an overdose in the brains department,
and therefore accept what people (read morons) plan for her.

Well, according to Billboard Magazine, she's set to become a superstar, and she's Nigerian!!
