Politics / Re: FG Spends N4.8 Billion On School Fees For Ambassador's Children by slackjack(m): 3:56pm On Feb 03, 2012
dmainboss:

While I agree the amount might be too much, we do need to criticize rightly. Someone saying the ambassadors should pay their children's school fees is ridiculous. Nigeria sent them on the mission. They didnt send themselves. But the ministry should look into the expenses and trim it down seriously.

Hello!!! i don't understand why the government should be responsible for footing their children's exorbitant school fees, they are obviously not rendering a free service, they get to enjoy too much already, everything is provided for them, housing, transportation and almost practically everything, so what differentiates them from a soldier on peacekeeping mission.

They are just sucking this country dry through every imaginable means.

Romance / Re: Ever Had A Crush On Someone In Your Workplace? by slackjack(m): 10:20am On Oct 31, 2011
Yeah Yeah, I have this colleague of mine we have known each other almost two years now, I get the jitters each time i see her, she likes me and i like her but i know that if i make an extra effort to start something it may not last. Despite how much i try to forget about her, each time i come across her i just can't help drooling and wanting her even though i have a serious relationship.
She is so damn fine but she just wants me as a friend, I've never cheated before but this desire is driving me nuts!

To unsubscribe for the Easylife 2.0 service any day that you don't want to make calls just dial *320*2#

to reactivate again dial *320*1# That is all you need.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Esther Breakthrough Nig. Ltd - Just Out To Hammer - Nairaland by slackjack(m): 12:16pm On Jul 20, 2011
So this company still operates, its just a form of organized and systematic financial rape of unsuspecting and prospective job seekers with bogus promise of job placement, where you are asked to pay a certain amount before you are referred to an employer despite the fact that the supposed employer does not have a vacancy or requisite positions available.
It is my opinion that this company be exposed further by sounding it loud and clear to whoever cares to listen that it is a scam venture designed to rip off jobs seekers.
I was once under that arrangement with them and nothing fruitful came out of it.

Pure cheats! embarassed cry

Phones / Re: The Cheapest Network To Call Now Is Etisalat by slackjack(m): 4:30pm On Jan 24, 2011
n.oxide:

Why don't u calculate it like this.

@ per second billing, how much will it cost u to make a 15mins call on each gsm network.

Glo: 25k/sec x 15mins = N225

Airtel: 20k/sec x 14min + 60k/sec x 1min = N204

Mtn: 25k/sec x 14min + 50k/sec x 1min = N240

Etisalat: 25k/sec x 15min + N20 daily rental = N245

AIRTEL is the cheapest. . . . Remember a lot of us are on per second billing

i dont susbcribe to you making a conclusion based on just the figures given here

Glo and their 25k per sec is not nationwide.
Airtel and their 20k per sec very good is commendable but only those who talk for long actually get the true value of the tariff.
How the did you arrive at that tariff rate for MTN, please try checking their tariff once again, the reduction on their plan was only done for the 6 F & F numbers.
So all in all Etisalat gives you great value on their Plans Either Easy Starter or the Reloaded Easy Cliq.
Phones / Re: The Cheapest Network To Call Now Is Etisalat by slackjack(m): 3:56pm On Jan 24, 2011
Check this out all of you who say that Airtel or Glo is cheaper than Etisalat. Using a N200 naira recharge and usage to compare the three network since obviously MTN restricts its subscriber to only 6 networks to enjoy its 20k tariff.

200
Proposition Easy Life Infinito 2good
Tariff/min (N) 15 15 12
MOU on N200 recharge 12.0 13.3 14.67
You&ME 10.0 0.0 0
BOIC 1.0 0.0 0
Total Call minutes 23.0 13.3 14.67

with this figures Etisalat is sure in the lead not to talk about 15MB of free data weekly on a recharge of N200.

@ Benzora, your post portrays you as a wise person and i just hope and wish that a lot of us running our mouths hear can actually weigh situations before we act upon it, yes cheating on a partner is a wrong thing, cheating repeatedly is even more disheartening but we need to put other things into consideration before we act. These are very trying times, so much anti-social behaviors and evil being perpetrated.

Lord Help us to overcome!

i share my password with my lady i also have hers of which she has asked me to help her upload items but i never venture to check her mails or messages, i just dont want to go there because she tells me everything that happens and i dont want to start running emotions over stuff like inbox messages which any pretty lady would definitely get as long as she has an account in a social networking site.
It all depends on the level of trust and understanding.

Romance / Re: Ever Broken Up With Someone You Didn't Want To by slackjack(m): 1:38pm On Sep 29, 2010
Yes, i had to break up with someone i felt was my better half cos at a point keeping the relationship would have been selfish as i couldn't at the point meet her needs, she had suitors coming at her left right and center and she was hanging on to me and i knew it was going to be a long time before i would even consider settling down, i tried making her see reason why we should go our separate ways, wasn't easy as she refused bluntly angry,
I just had to gradually push her away and distance myself from her to kill the love that existed embarassed cry. After that it took me 3 years to date someone else.
I look back and say such is life!
