gabi101: How's that possible when the application deadline is 15th July? Or is it a master's program? |

dobeespen: Really! Always imagined you were a bro! |

UncleJudax: Thanks man, really appreciate! |

dobeespen: But HS Rhein-Waal only issues soft copies that you have to download from their application portal. So how does one work around that for the visa interview? |

Conqs4luv: Hmmn... Quite interesting... Thought Erasmus Mundus was for EU students only, those going on exchange programs? Details please! Person fit apply next year. |

Conqs4luv: Thanks man! There's a checklist on their website under the student visa section. You can use that as a guide. 1 Like |

Good afternoon peeps! A beautiful day isn't it? I applied for an interview on Wednesday, just got a reply from the consulate. I've been scheduled for August 10th. Anybody else scheduled for that date? I'd like to hook up. I'd like to say a big thank you to EVERYONE who's posted here trying to help others get sorted. I certainly learnt plenty. Special thanks to all who responded to my specific queries, really appreciate. Now I've got to go study the application process critically and note all I must do. However, dem say who dey ask road nor dey lost. So I'll appreciate helpful tips/hints from everyone who's gone beyond or is familiar with this stage. To be over prepared is not a crime, abi? Thanks y'all! #Expectant 1 Like 1 Share |

Hi Tinder! I think everything will come good eventually as long as it's still within the deadline period. It was so with me though I sent my docs as early as possible because I used ordinary post. Uni-assist confirmed receipt of my docs since early May and then notified on the 24th May that they would forward the applications to the universities very soon. It took another 3 weeks. Process is quite slow. I wrote to them after waiting one and a half weeks and they replied only after they had forwarded the last application. Both schools have contacted me. I'm following up with them. You can write to uni-assist to enquire about the status of your applications. The deadline is July 15th, so chill a bit but follow up with them. Tinder: |

Thanks for this man! My mind's fully at ease now. I'll just hope that the other enforced desirables come through before my scheduled date. Left UI finally in '05. But I'll be doing a BSc again hopefully in International Business/Management. My work experience here informs my decision. Besides in today's world, one's got be globally oriented. Since you're in Germany already I'd have liked more detailed info as to how it works over there. I'll try the PM thing... Thanks a lot, u 2 mush! acedboss: |

Thanks lono22 for the insight... Indeed I've been very worried about booking an appointment with my Furtwangen admission letter because of tuition fees in that state. I would rather play safe and get an appointment with a letter from a tuition free school, but they're not forthcoming and I've got to book early to get an early date. As it is, I'll take my chances with the Furtwangen letter and just hope for the best. You went to UI too? That's great! I got a BSc there last decade. lono22: |

The great dobeespen! Thanks for the insight...really appreciate. Just received my blocked account details from Fintiba. I applied with my admission letter from Futwangen. I was a bit confused whether to apply for for a visa interview or not. With this insight you've shared I suppose I'll just go ahead and book for an appointment this very day. I'm still hoping HTW Berlin, HS Rhein-Waal or Deggeendorf comes through before any interview date I'm scheduled for. But can one actually swap schools/admission letters at the embassy? Has anyone done it before? dobeespen: |

dobeespen: Thanks @dobeespen for the suggestion. Truth is I'm no longer eager to go to any school in Baden Württemberg because of the tuition fees. My dilemma is that the other tuition free schools I applied to are yet to conclude their selection processes and I still have to book for visa interview. |

lono22: Guten Tag! Though I applied to ESB, I haven't had any response from them regarding selection or otherwise. However I've been given admission at HFU Business School, Furtwangen. Since you're in Baden Württemberg, kindly shed light on how the newly introduced fees will affect incoming international students. What's the best bet to get scholarship and job opportunities to aid financing our studies? Thank you.. |

When did you get your test invite? I did apply but no word from them regardless of the outcome. Tinder: |

Hi everyone! I'm a newbie here but I've been following the thread. Thanks to all the wonderful contributors, I've certainly gleaned useful info just reading through. I am also hoping to study in Germany this winter semester and have got one admission already at HS Furtwangen. However, tuition fees to the tune of €1500 per semester is being introduced this winter semester. I'm really worried about booking an appointment for a visa interview with this admission letter. I'm concerned that it may scuttle my chances of getting an approval even though I may be able to come up with funds for the blocked account. Can someone kindly advise with helpful suggestions. P.S. I've got other applications to tuition free universities pending... Waiting patiently for your suggestions. Thank you. |
