Enable private account

If you are looking for ways to enhance privacy on TikTok, you have to enable this feature. When the private account is enabled, only approved users can follow you and watch your videos. But do note that the existing followers won’t be affected. To turn on private account, launch TikTok -> profile button at the bottom right corner -> more button at the top right corner ->privacy and safety. Now, turn on the switch for the Private Account option.

Make the most of data saver

Business / Eight Signs You Are Dealing With Difficult Clients by sleeksavbvy: 4:42pm On Jul 10, 2020

Clients are key to the growth of your business. The more the clients, the more the turnover. This said a tricky part of running a business is knowing which clients to work with and which ones to reject.

This will always be a difficult task as you risk rejecting a good client or accepting a very terrible one. Regardless, before you accept any client, you should look out for these helpful signs.

They want your service for cheap

You should be wary of clients who desire your service for the lowest and most ridiculous price. They desire quality but cannot afford your service. As such they haggle and haggle until you agree with their price. But you should not fall for this. Avoid this type of clients and if you have a cheaper option for them, you should offer it to them.

They want the service done with immediate alacrity

Normally, a client should give you enough time to deliver the service as agreed. However, if the client is giving you an outrageous or unrealistic deadline that will no doubt put unnecessary pressure on your colleagues, do well to reject such a job. If you accept such a job, you are likely to do a shabby or poor job.

They request you to complete other people’s job

You and your client are supposed to start on a clean slate or a new project. A client should not bring an uncompleted job for you to complete. If at all you have to accept such a job, you should ask key questions like: Where did that work come from? Why wasn’t it finished by that person? If you are not satisfied with the answers, you should probably say no to the offer except if the client is willing to wave the uncompleted job.

Poor communication

When clients contact you about a project, you’ll want them to cover a few main topics: scope, budget, timeline, and goals so you can immediately assess whether this a project you would be a good fit for. Pay attention to the style and frequency of communication. Use this to help you assess the client as a person and determine whether you would work well together...

Science/Technology / Google Introduces Google For Nonprofits In Nigeria by sleeksavbvy: 5:37pm On Jun 24, 2020

Google has launched Google for Nonprofits in Nigeria to empower not-for-profit organizations by providing them with free premium services.

For organizations that qualify, Google for Nonprofits gives access to a collection of premium apps – the same tools large enterprise corporations use – at no cost.

Once approved, qualifying nonprofits can gain access to programs such as Google Ad Grants, G-Suite for Nonprofits, YouTube’s nonprofit program, and more.

This assists nonprofit organizations to work more quickly and efficiently to reach a wider audience, spur more supporters to take action, and tell their story in a more compelling way.

Nonprofits can qualify for a grant of up to $10,000 a month that is available for six months through October 2020, to spend on text-based ads among other offerings.

For an NPO to be eligible for the Google for Nonprofits program, it must be a registered nonprofit charitable organization in Nigeria and verified by TechSoup Nigeria.

It must also meet eligibility criteria listed on the Google for Nonprofits page.

“Nonprofits face unique challenges when making decisions about what technology to acquire amid competing demands for funding and resources.

"Our overall goal is to provide access to tools and technology quickly and effectively so that these organizations can focus their efforts and resources directly towards achieving their goals,” says Titi Akinsanmi, Head, Government Affairs and Public Policy, West Africa, Google.

Google also announced its philanthropic arm, Google.org will be giving the grant to Teach for Nigeria, a non-profit organization focused on support for students in underserved communities in Nigeria while the COVID-19 school closures persist.

The grant will fund a 2-year teacher fellowship program to ensure more students in underserved communities get access to quality education, delivered by well-trained teaching staff.

It will also fund an educational intervention program to help children in underserved areas get an education through alternative means like TV, radio and on-the-street public communications.

Google training resources and programs for upskilling teachers working in target communities will be deployed, and Google Digital Skills training curriculum and resources will be leveraged for this program.

“Our plan is to provide support and create partnerships that will ensure that children from underserved communities are able to access the required level of education during these times,” Akinsanmi says.

“Teach for Nigeria is working towards developing platforms that allow Nigeria’s educational system to support all children to thrive and create a better future for themselves and their communities.

"Now more than ever, we must do whatever can be done to ensure that quality and relevant learning is happening, for all our children regardless of where they are on the map.

"We are excited and confident that this collaboration with Google will move us a step closer to achieving our goals in these times,” says Folawe Omikunle, CEO, Teach for Nigeria.

TV/Movies / Who Is The King Of Money Ritual In Nollywood? by sleeksavbvy: 10:59pm On Feb 14, 2020

Fans stereotype some of their favourite Nollywood actors and actresses because of the frequency they play a particular role.

For the role of ritual money, some male actors have been placed ahead of others due to how well they play the role of ritualists.

Among them, four of them stand out. They are Kanayo O. Konayo, Alex Usifo, Ejike Asiegbu and Prince Emeka Ani. So the question is among these four, who is the king of ritual money in Nollywood?

Kanayo O. Konayo

Kanayo O. Kanayo also known as KOK is notorious for playing lead roles in money ritual movies. His face alone inspires tales of mutilated bodies and kidnappings. This man is so good, his name, KOK, is synonymous to ritual. There is nobody KOK cannot use for rituals, no relationship is too sacred; his mother, wife, children, siblings, even his pastor. KOK was ruthless, he only lived by one rule, and that was, Money must be made, by any means necessary. If KOK has acted 100 movies in Nollywood, at least 70 of them had him doing money rituals.

Alex Usifo

Alex Usifo was the ritualist with twenty years of ritual experience. He always had a few words of advice for the young ones and lived his baby boy life to the hilt. A man about town, if the group needed some young ladies who were no longer in need of their destinies, they would find them at whatever party Alex Usifo was organizing. Let us call him the Resource Manager of your average Blood Money Group of Companies

Ejike Asiegbu

Ejike Asiegbu is a Nigerian film actor and film director who once served as President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria. He was also previously appointed as personal assistant to former Biafran leader Odumegwu Ojukwu during the 1994 National Constitutional Conference in Abuja. He is also popular for his role in ritual money movies.

Prince Emeka Ani

Prince Emeka Ani was always part of the inner circle of ritualists and council of elders in the group. He was one of those responsible for ex-communicating any errant ritualist and organizing midnight sessions to deal with pastors who try to break up their ring. Emeka’s glare was only second to Pete Edochie’s, and his beard was enough to scare any right-thinking human.
