No. You are eligible to sponsor someone if you were not sponsored to get a PR. However if u were sponsored it takes 5 years to get eligibility.

The processing time of 30 days seems to vary for Nigerians. I have seen others say it can take up to 45 days.

God stood by me and didn’t put me to shame when I started this Canada journey I didn’t even know I could do it because somebody told me Canada is a no go area so channeled my energy towards the U.K immediately I got admission there I was ready to apply for a visa but my dad insisted that Canada is the goal, not the U.K. I reluctantly applied to just one university (University of Windsor) Master of Management(HRM) I applied in February and in between I got a job offer that was very suitable for my career but they decided to bond me for 2 years I was willing to let go of traveling out to take the job offer and my father insisted that Canada is the goal I was hurt because I have gone through all the processes for the job but I had to leave it because of that I found nairaland but I have already applied to the university then I saw something like career progression then I was scared because I have B.Sc. in Insurance and I applied for HRM all in all I was granted admission on May 30. I also learned about the NSE route and that I have to take IELTS that’s when wahala started oo because right from day one my uncles have always told me that the exam is very hard so I have made up my mind to avoid it but at this point, there’s no going back I practiced by myself and wrote it. Through this platform, I met Spectro baba (lol) the first time I messaged him I was able to pay my tuition fee through his guidance something I’ve been trying to do for a month. I applied on August 31st I went for upfront medical since July I was intentional about it. The wait after getting my correspondence letter was very tiring I sent a lot of emails, ordered my GCMS notes yet to receive it though, and raised webforms but I calm down a bit after the MP I contacted told me congratulations I still waited for a week before I got my approval. The wait humbled me because I don’t even know who to beg I remembered sending mail and I used their creator to beg them. All in all, God did it NLP also helped me to pray and I attended reboot camp. The way I will dance in church tomorrow ehn in fact they will need to hold me. GLORY!!!!!

They said because when they scanned her Covid vaccine card it didn’t reflect that she has taken 2 dose. But she had her negative Covid 19 test result. They didn’t allow her board it was painful ehh. So I was wondering if that’s the same process they used for everyone this past Friday. Especially that witch Ethiopian airways stuff the one with glasses and big yansh. I didn’t take note of her name.

I saw you and your mom. So they didn't allow her go through. Wowww. The vaccination is not a requirement from canada. Nigerians too dey over do. They just needed ur covid result and to fill the arrive can.

brother did they scan your COVID vaccine card? Cos they sent my person back because her COVID card didn’t reflect that she’s vaccinated twice.

That was done by the airline in Lagos and also our customs people scan it. But when I got to Canada. Only my covid result was asked by the officer

My landing gist.

I arrived Toronto yesterday. It was a very long flight using Ethiopian Airways. But mehn, their Air hostess fine die and them dey friendly. Plus their food make sense. We have a 7hrs on air from lagos to Addis ababa and 16hrs from Addis ababa to toronto.

At MM Airport. You will need to show covid test, enrolment letter and arrivecan.

Then at Toronto, you will need enrolment, admission letter, tuition payments and proof of funds. Infact the proof of funds dey important.

I got study approval. I was in the express entry pool and also got PNP ITA . It a different stream. It doesn't matter.

I submitted a balance of 17m but I was still rejected.
Got GCMS notes and found that the VO didn't feel I had the money because it was lump sum

2nd application May 27th
I got a land from my mum and sold for 25m. Receipt were provided and all legalise document provided.

I didn't recieved any other update till today that ppr dropped.

See ehn I have been trying different countries wasting money here and there but when God says it is your time nothing can change that.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I just got PPR. Second application. May 27th. Self sponsored. Jesussssssssss. It can only be God.

I just recently got an ITA for Saskatchewan but the problem I have is that at April 26th, I transferred a portion of my savings to 4,700 dolls and the money was saved in my dom account I opened in April 26th. I want to ask that must I declare about 4million naira in my account which must be in my account for the next 90days before I apply for the visa. Or can I fill up the account to the required sum and apply within the 60days.

I have recently recieved a visa refusal from IRCC base on personal asset and financial status. I am a self sponsor. I had a balance of 17m and inflow of 50m over 6months.

Now I am scared about the self sponsorship so I intend using my mom to do a deed of assignment for me for one of her property which I will sell and use as my source of income. But the thing is the money would come as a lump sum in my account. Please advise me on this
