Thank you@ eggcelent. The vet said for three days but I gave them for four days when l saw the persistence. They also suffered from cocci thirteen days back which made me missed the lassota vaccine at week four...and that is my concern now. Should l administer the vaccine now since they are a bit better now or until they are fully up and about? The birds are zartec's, jos.

Good day farmers...my farm of about 400 pullets of six weeks are disturbed by this respiratory disease...little sneezing but becoming more pronounced by the day. l used centre-gentitylo for three days but the sneezing did not stop. pls advise as the pullets are getting weaker by the day.

@Moyin, its true ciz l live in Jos. I was discussing with a ranking officer in that Organisation you mentioned and he was appalled at how poor our pay is. He mentioned that, unlike his Organisation, our problem is the lack of a union that can stand and fight doggedly for INEC staff. When they started agitating for a new salary scale, their Union did all the necessary work including the dirty work with the Senate committee overseeing their Parastatal. I dont know why there isnt unionism in the Commision....but it could be because our superiors have their way of taking care of themselve.

Lightheartedly, l was told that the former Chairman has presented some far reaching recommendations the PMB about staff welfare....but l only heard with one ear oo..

Unless the old staff were not truthful to us when they said that bonus payment after election has been the tradition of the commission. Well, it seem a mirage now that anything will come our way. But then, some may say that with the dwindling resources of all tiers of government and the inability to pay salaries in some federal ministries and agencies, it is foolhardy to expect to be paid bonus. Not too long ago, we were told that the commision was returning unspent money to the federal govt every year instead of planning on how to better the workforce. The question is: did Jega left the commission better than he met it?

So this is how our first election in the commission have come and gone. With it came disappointments and excitements. I have come to realised, chaps, that so far you are not up to the rank of electoral officer, you are nonentity. I love the commission but there are things in its operation that shouldn't be, as long as the commision is expected to be at par with other worldly electoral bodies. The commision has a long way to go in carrying all of its staff along. There is strong leadership no doubt but l fear that it will crumble the moment Jega is gone.

Hi fellows! Glad to join this wonderful forum of lion owners. l found this forum last three days and mad it upon myself to read all the threads. My appreciation to lkenna for his selfless service.

However, last week my lion started overheating with the stop sign beeping. A mechanic detected a faulty fan and made me replaced it. Having gone through this forum from page 1, l now realised that the man had connect the fan to work non stop and ofcours removed the t stat. I now suffer from all the attendant effects of his actions as mentioned by lkenna in many of his post. Can anybody pls name a place l can scan my lion in Jos?

Recently l bought a lion..406 ew10. The temperature kept rising up with the fan not working. l had to change the fan set wholly but still the temperature rose again continuesly. The mechanic advise for the cleaning of the radiator but still to no avail. Another mechanic advised me to remove the thermoster which l did. Its almos three weeks now and everything has been fine so far...no more rising temperature. Pls tell ne is my car safe without the thermoster?
