Crime / Re: Gracious David West Denies All Murder Charges Against Him by smexy(m): 4:07pm On Feb 28, 2020
TechCapon:
I was in court today during the trial of serial killer Gracious David west and it was quite funny. He said that the confession he made was made at gunpoint and that the signature on the statement was not his signature. However, the judge Justice enebeli gave him a piece of paper to sign his own signature.

He denied that he never lodged in any of those hotels where the girls were murdered. He also claimed that he never met any of those girls who were killed in the hotel. When the prosecution asked him if he would apologize to the public for his actions, he said he has nothing to apologize about because he did not kill anyone. The case was adjourned to 23rd of March.
Taking pictures in the court is not allowed

Politics / Re: Nigerians Protest Against Buhari’s Government In Canada Over Insecurity, Others by smexy(m): 8:13pm On Feb 27, 2020
FarFromAverage:
Buhari, your neighbor is executing BH, but you choose to rehabilitate them. People are being slaughtered like chicken, and nothing is said or done about that. Herdsmen have the audacity to enter someone's farm and destroy their crops. If these farmers want to defend themselves you stop them from doing so.

You called Igbos who haven't seen AK47 terrorists, but your brothers who go from farm-farm with AK47 and riffles are virgins.

You're too humane to your cows than you are to the lives of Nigerians. BH keep proving you wrong each time your administration says they are degeraded.

They should protest outside the country to secure their lives. They are afraid of their country that doesn't value lives.
Seriously, Nigeria and Nigerians have suffered in this administration.

It's not the matter of time, but a matter of when before your brain reconfigures.
I can clearly recall PMB being against the president declaring Bokoharam as a terrorist group during GEJ's administration. According to him, granting them amnesty would've been the best move, citing what Yar'adua did to the militants as example.
See, PMB is just executing what to him is expedient. For Nigerians to have voted him into power meant they were okay with his views.
He criticized every darn thing during Goodluck's regime, he was never silent.
So there's nothing surprising about his actions.

Boko recruitment form must be the juiciest in town, considering how the dullard rewards these terrorists that have killed, raped and maimed Nigerians.

Buhari is worst than Ebola and Corona Virus put together.
I'm telling you. The sad truth is, PMB made his stance known about this terrorist group during GEJ's regime. Regardless, Nigerians voted him into power.
When the then presidency declared Bokoharam a terrorist group, he condemned it.
His point?
Goodluck ought to have followed in the footsteps of Yar'adua who granted amnesty to the militants.
The militants uproar, I understand.
What exactly is the Boko Haram fighting for?

My best guess is a large percentage of voters are the easily brainwashed/illiterate ones or people who can't analyse what this government has done or more aptly, failed to do in 4 years. There are very few reasons why someone would vote these guys for an extra tenure.
The wailers are online while those who actually partook in the election are offline. simple!

eleojo23:
Only a few people who have understanding will get the point she is trying to make.
Religious and legalistic people just won't get it.

I would rather be friends with a Christian guy who has tattoos but sincerely loves God and his fellow humans than be friends with a so-called Christian who doesn't have tattoos but whose heart is full of deceit, malice and zero love for his fellow human being.

Joyce and you are getting it wrong. I'm going the back up my point with an excerpt from Dan Brown's "the lost symbol", the author of " the da vinci code ", here it goes,
"The one who called himself Mal'akh pressed the tip of the needle against his shaved head, sighing with pleasure as the sharp tool plunged in and out of his flesh. The soft hum of the electric device was addictive . . . as was the bite of the needle sliding deep into his dermis and depositing its dye.
I am a masterpiece.
The goal of tattooing was never beauty. The goal was change. From the scarified Nubian priests of 2000 B.C., to the tattooed acolytes of the Cybele cult of ancient Rome, to the moko scars of the modern Maori, humans have tattooed themselves as a way of offering up their bodies in partial sacrifice, enduring the physical pain of embellishment and emerging changed beings.
Despite the ominous admonitions of Leviticus 19:28, which forbade the marking of one's flesh, tattoos had become a rite of passage shared by millions of people in the modern age--everyone from clean-cut teenagers to hard-core drug users to suburban housewives.
The act of tattooing one's skin was a transformative declaration of power, an announcement to the world: I am in control of my own flesh. The intoxicating feeling of control derived from physical transformation had addicted millions to flesh-altering practices . . . cosmetic surgery, body piercing, bodybuilding, and steroids . . . even bulimia and transgendering. The human spirit craves mastery over its carnal shell."
People delve into things without knowing how it came about.
To God, the foundation is vital.
John 3:6
"That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit"
So, opposing the use of tattoos is not being religious, it's plainly ungodly.

Education / Re: Some Shocking Modern Day Experiments You Need To Know. by smexy(m): 5:14pm On Jul 26, 2017
Explorers:
Mind-Controlled Rats.

Researchers at the State University of New York have found a way to control rats remotely.

Scientists claim that the animals could be beneficial to us by doing dangerous and difficult jobs.

Rats make good candidates for this experiment because of their small size and range of physical capabilities.

The technology is still in its early stages and can only detect signals up to 460 meters (1,500 ft) away.

Even more disturbing is the fact that a creature can be controlled by a computer.

The researchers controlled the rats by using computers to send electrical signals through the animals’ brains as a way of giving orders to the rats.

If this experiment becomes a stepping-stone for controlling the minds of other animals and quite possibly humans then we all face the threat of having our autonomy taken away by tyrannical leaders and corrupt governments.

This technology could help to create the perfect obedient slaves or citizens.

They would not even desire to escape or rebel and would be duped into doing whatever their masters desire all to get a euphoric electric shock.
