Thanks so much you really put in a nice suggestion, I really appreciate ur contribution, very brilliant! Can I chat u up? bullstriker: Applying alone is recommended when home ties are not strong, but it seems you have enough ties and funds to apply with your family. Having said that, you can easily mar your application if you don’t consider certain factors like the program’s duration and family size. For example, for a one-year program, I don’t recommend you apply for a family of 7 as it could raise the issue of your intention to return after your studies. Why incur so many expenses to travel with all your family members for a 1-year program?Although it has worked for some people, I don’t advise it. On the other hand, if you are going for a two-year program, the funds are barely enough to cover your accompanying dependents' living expenses and tuition fees. So, it's about how you present your asset that generates revenue, your spouse’s plan etc. You can also consider applying with only the kids.
Yes, your salary is okay; you are going for a program that will broaden your industry knowledge and skills and possibly increase your earnings. 1 Like |

Yes, I have BSc in biochemistry and have worked for 6 yrs at the ministry of Agriculture as a produce inspector. Can a salary of about 40k convince the ircc of home ties? I got an admission to study food science technology at centennial college but I DNT just know how best to package my application for a family of 7. Some pple advice I go first and then put in their application once I resume school bullstriker: I believe you are good. Based on what you stated, you have the funds, job, business and properties to show ties in Nigeria, and hopefully, your program is related to your work experience. |

Any suggestions on this? Snooky: Guys pls I need someone to tell me if this move is likely to come to fruition.
I want to apply for study visa together with my husband and 5 kids. My husband is the sponsor cos I work as a civil servant. He is a lawyer and ha his Chambers registered with CAC. We have about #10,000,000 and $56,000USD in our joint naira and domiciliary account respectively. School fees is about 38,000cad though which would be sorted with the #10,000,000 in the naira acct and we are about adding about #4,000,000 to that to complete the tuition fees which would be processed through form A. NB: my husband is into partial real estate too and has receipts of transactions that runs in millions to proof that. He manages properties for clients and collects his lawyer fees too. He also has landed properties in his name and a rented 3 storey building that brings in funds too. |

It wasnt listed there, so I'm thinking it might be an omission. I ve been trying to contact them to hear first-hand from them but they have not replied me through email or picked my calls. User00711:
They don’t require ielts from Nigerians. For the statement of interest, you’d have to check on your program’s admission requirement. Mine needed a statement of interest |

Just wanted a closer guide from someone with such experience to know what documents to submit for the study permit application johnstan:
Sale of properties, gift deeds, loans etc are a great part of POF for so many people on this thread if you backread. Do I personally know someone? No. Is there any challenge you want to address by knowing someone who did personally? |

johnstan:
Explain in your sop the source of the funds, attach proof and you're good to go. Did it work for u that way too or do u probably know someone it worked for? |

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by Snooky: 8:37am On Nov 02, 2022 |
Pls do u know if IRCC would frown at funds from sale of property? There are still other properties to show as proof of home ties though. bepositive11:
When it comes to assets and financial situation, your bank balance is just 1 factor. They also consider your salary, employment history, bank type, etc.
You can either try guessing what the issue is or order your GCMS notes to see the VO's comments. |
