Obviously debts and too much pressure. If you are in debts it isn't something to be ashamed or scared of, debt isn't a crime and all the threats that come with it is just "empty threats". Don't kill yourself for debts!! angry

But how did all these people get his number?
This feels like a scam the girl is in on.

Unless it was a regular offline transaction

Bolt does not share numbers of drivers.

I would not share the number of a driver unless I felt I was in danger.

You are the only right thinking person on this thread, the biggest mystery is how the family members got the Bolt drivers number.......

Angelfrost:

None of us is privy to what goes on when they sign those agreements...!

We don't know how profit they make at the expense of the nation's progress.

Maybe you don't realize what debt servicing and interest repayment does to your nation's chances of growing economically.

I have no issue with the lender... The issue here is the borrower and what he does with the loans.

Look at the trillions already being owed and the ones set to be borrowed, and check the nation's growth trajectory... Compare that to other Nation's of the world.

If by Credit worthiness you mean ability to service loans while your nation deteriorates, then yeah... Nigeria is highly credit worthy.

Nice!! I have established that you are an intelligent individual, so how exactly are we supposed to finance our budget? In present day Nigeria let us imagine you are the president how will you run the country without loans?

Angelfrost:

Maybe you are the ignorant one...!

Those nations are largely export-based and internally producing what they need.

They can afford to increase their debts to infinity...! They are credit-worthy and have super viable economies.

Let me break it down for you...

If Nigeria were a business venture, no sane bank will lend them a dime.

So, Nigeria's debt profile is ridiculous for a nation not producing anything and not harnessing her rich Resources... Not to mention being a seat of corruption and Wastage.

Let me indulge you, so the countries/ organisations giving Nigeria loans are mad people? Nigeria isn't credit worthy?
Politics / Re: Three-year Blueprint: FG Plans N26tn Borrowing, N29tn For Debt Servicing by soberdrunk(m): 8:30am On Oct 23, 2023
So many ignorant Nigerians, Nigeria's debt to gdp ratio isn't even up to 40% while countries like Japan have a debt to gdp ratio of over 200%, even Italy has a debt to gdp ratio of over 100%. What we should be worried about us the "UTILISATION" of the loans angry

If we can all put sentiments aside we will see that this is shameful to every single Nigerian, how can a Nigerian serve as a Senator, a "two time" governor and currently a sitting president and we are still debating his qualifications! Just how? If truly there is any type of issue with the President's certificates then so many people must go to jail...... angry

Car Talk / Re: Between Honda Accord 06 And Camry 2001: Your Honest Review Please by soberdrunk(m): 5:07pm On Oct 22, 2023
Sunmars:
Now before you start lambasting me to go and search out previous threads on this, I have already done so.
Also, some of those responses were done a while ago when those cars may not have been better understood and I'm sure some folks may have gained one or two new experiences over the years
.
I am stuck between a Nigerian used honda accord o6/ 07 and a Camry 2000/2001.
Na wetin my hand go fit reach I wan go for.

The car will be used as a daily driver to and from work. My office is not far away but it's becoming imperative I get a car for business and family.
There will be no long distance journey except once or twice in a year to my villa in the East
.
Btw, I reside in Delta state so I don't think part is a problem.
I just want a car without too much drama and wahala and too much costly maintenance issues.
The road in my neighborhood is not too bad though.
My heart say honda because of its look and prestige but I'm wary of the transmission even though I heard it was improved in the 06 models. Another issue for me is that it seems to get old quickly and tend to lose shape ( my impression though)

My head says camry on the other hand. It's seems more rugged but too common and a much older model. I tend to see them everywhere I turn. The suspension is another niggles.
I heard it has a better AC than the honda though?

Please brothers kindly share your first hand experience so as to help me settle for one and make my son happy

Sorry for boring you with this lengthy epistle.

The truth is no car is a "bad" car, they just require different levels of care and attention. If you have a good 'maintenance culture" you can go for the EOD but if you are like us that like to ignore noises every now and then to cut cost then the Toyota is your best friend............

[quote author=Kukutenla post=125812943]Subsidy removal money is doing wonders

But truth be told, these cars will really help the third class traditional rulers fight insecurity to a standstill.

Just imagine if the traditional rulers need to get information about the movement of bandits. Where else to get such info if not through visits to dibias, who see the gateway between the living and the spirits?

How do they get to the dibias who reside where no legs can reach if these vehicles are not available?

And if the bandits somehow strike even after their secrets have been leaked, who best to call if not the ancestors of these third class traditional rulers, ancient warriors who fought the forebears of bandits to a standstill before the white men came?

But the ancestors with their tired bones will need all the help they can get to reach the scene of action as soon as possible. These cars will help in that regard.

What if the bandits take to their heels using those bikes they are synonymous with after capturing a few helpless subjects of the third class traditional rulers?

What can be the best way to give them a hot chase in the dead of the night through the thick of the forest?

None else than these four wheeled machines!!

The roaring sound of the racing engines raving through the woods will scare the bandits to their bones and force them to surrender to the superior engine of the Nissan beast and set free their captives!!

There's no doubt therefore that these cars are richly desired and required by these third class traditional rulers in carrying out the thankless task of battling insecurity with every drop of their royal blood, and I commend Minister Wike's robustly kind gesture with a 39 year old whiskey bottle that's billed to turn forty years tomorrow.
