It is proper for the presidency to provide detailed plan for the amount to be borrowed. it is the proper thing. People can borrow for various reasons and we need to know if our future is to be mortgaged with the borrowing or for prosperity.

This is good. atleast there is no capital flight. What the revenue will do to the economy of Abia state is Huge. if a single boot is bough for 7k this amounts to =N350m. It can do a lot for economies of the SMB's in abia.

A country like isreal before their money enters the hand of a foreigner on projects it must have passed through the hands of 10-13 Israeli's.

we should learn to criticize constructively. Sincerely I think what he is doing is commendable. The project on its own will create job and wealth for the local community.

It will be nice that 90% of the contract be awarded to people of kaduna state. Let the money circulate among them through supplies, construction etc and by so doing wealth creation is done. It shouldn't be given to one foreign firm who will take the money once to china or Europe.

The Best thing is to have development commissions for all zones. each zone should have a plan and approved by the senate. Money released must be made public and each region will be responsible for their development and will ensure accountability from the officials.

It is true that being in the Nation Nigeria is good but we have to be fair and sincere to each other. I don't know how old you and but you need to know why the people feel the way they feel. The way ended 46 years ago but it is still raging in the minds of the leaders of Nigeria like OBJ, Buhari and co.

if you don't know let me tell you.
1. 2 million ibo's were killed in cold blood in that war
2. No compensation paid to these people till date
3. at the end of the war every money you have was taken away and you are given 20pounds even if you have 1million pounds.
4. Properties owned by ibo's were termed abandoned properties across the nation.
5. Some families were extinct

If this is past let it be past. Tell me what any successive government has done in that region from 1970 that is visible. Once a typical Nigerian politician says we will not let ibo's go has scored a political point.

What we want is a country that will create enabling platform for all citizens and not slowing others down because of greed, sectionalism. I know you are enjoying the mess right from Gowon till date. Your future and the future of your children depends on what this nation is today unless you have people who have taken enough money from the Government but people need to move on.

If one Nigeria is the way then we truly need to be one Nigeria. President Buhari has he visited any part of South East? NO. We must not vote for him or share the same political ideology with him. Why people did not vote for him was simple. In his days as President and PTF chairman I challenge you and anyone in naira land to mention one program he did in the south east. If it is books for school children then people voted in ignorance. In all, I blame my Governors, my leaders for all the mess. if they should avoid corruption and offer selfless service to the people the region will change and then economic prosperity of the nation will depend on their ingenuity but what do you see today monsters who fight their way to the corridor of power.

In summary, if you are in the shoes of the Ibo's till date you will feel the same way. There is need for total reconciliation and in as much as that is not done this feeling will be there. The reconciliation may be emotional in nature, integration in nature, political in nature and may not be in monitory terms.
