NYSC / Re: PLEASE HELP: Is Laptop Allowed At NYSC Camp? by sociadoc: 12:50pm On Feb 10, 2022 |
Kalaba: Exactly, what are my chances? Are they any groups I can work with that would increase my chances of being allowed to use my Laptop? I don't mind doing anything related to graphics design and content development/comms these are my core skills Also what activities would one be expected to take part in from 6pm? I believe the usual parade drills starts 4 am? My shift usually ends before midnight. Only work till 3am about twice a week (overtime) How can I get in? I just need to know my chances, I've not been posted yet 1 Like 1 Share |

NYSC / PLEASE HELP: Is Laptop Allowed At NYSC Camp? by sociadoc: 12:16pm On Feb 10, 2022 |
Is Laptop allowed in NYSC Camp? Is it true that bringing a Laptop to Camp is prohibited? I graduated last year July, completed my clearance and waiting my institution to drop senate list so I can register for my service year, I'm super excited about going for NYSC but something has been bugging for a while and I need urgent answers I want to go with my Laptop so I can work remotely. I want to keep my remote job while serving. Are pcms allowed to come to NYSC camp with their gadgets? I recently landed a decent job as a customer support staff for a North American based game tech company and it's fully remote, my shift is usually from 6pm till midnight and maybe 3am once or twice weekly cause of the time difference. My hopes are high that I’d be able to put in a few hours while at camp and keep my job during the course of my service year since it's fully remote, the experience is a huge plus on my cv, and the hours are quite flexible Can't ask for 3 weeks off cause I've only been working with the firm for less that 2 months though I'm not new to remote work as I've been working remotely for over two years on both contract and freelance projects since 2020 (lockdown/ASUU strike) forced everyone to explore opportunities in the digital space. I love my job and I want to keep it, but I'm hearing that Laptops are prohibited in most Camps how true is this and what are my chances? 1 Like 2 Shares |

First off, I don't think this conversation should be about whether or not you should take back the shop you opened for her but if you should be in that relationship at all in the first place Red flags all over the place, but it seems you still love her and you're making excuses for her in your head, but trust me, that won't do any good She doesn't love or respect you, I advise you take a bow Regarding the shop and other things you did for her, it depends on YOU, if I were in your shoes I'd let it go but then again it depends (on your intentions when you opened the shop ) if you actually did it out of love for HER Did you give for the sake of giving, or was it an investment which you hopes to reap later on Either ways, wishing you all the best man |

Pally619: Likee, most people don't get it. There's no formula to these things, do what makes you happy and if it's worth fighting for then fight for what you love. Hypocrisy all over this thread, so-called red peelers just dey cap. Grow up 2 Likes |
