Hi Tobby Boy, you need to be careful of who gives you advise on forums like this. Some are just out to overthrow somebody else. Somebody said 300k is too small to build foundation for the size of building mentioned here. Says who! in Ibadan of all places. I built the decking of my house just 3years back at N300,000 workmanship. Its a stretch of 26ft by 84ft building with a 3bedrm/2bedrm apartment. How much less Ibadan and this is even foundation.

Pls my brother, discuss with your builder, seek out other builders within your locality and compare prices but certainly don't take any builder connection from this forum or any other. Be on site to ensure whatever he promised to buy is delivered and checked on site by you or your trusted proxy. If the estimate is short, buy more of whatever is needed. Monitor to ensure materials received on site in your presence, especially cement are not sold off when you are not around.

These are local buiders, most of the time their estimates are not empirical but guess work from experience. Your building will go through to completion eventually, even if takes another 25% above your estimates. But if you follow the critics in this forum, you will get so skeptical that
the money will eventually end up in some other unworthy investment.

Before you go too far with this your MMM pseudo-campaign,please take a look at this short but well researched breakdown of what MMM really is via the URL below. I hope a lot of people get to read background stuff like this before the MMM bubble bursts. Of course, it will sooner than later. I suspect that a couple of contributors on this forum may be paid agents for the MMM hype scheme.
