I have outgrown some certain things which includes the insults the SEeasterners hurl at the Yorubas. A lot of people, different tribes and tongues had one way or another benefited from the magnamity of a Yoruba person, nonetheless, Yorubas hardly blow their own trumpet by themselves. I recall that this BBnaija guy was a hype among igbo viewers and they believed he became big through Obi Cubana, without them realising the fact that he had an humble begining and a Yoruba man was instrumental in the early stage of his life yet to them, every Yoruba is poor and hungry. You insult those that are good to you.

If those Civil Defence guys tried rubbish, they would have answered to the Army. Those Civil Defence guys that sensibly sat down and didn't do anything, you think they didn't know what they were doing?
Do you know that when Youth Corpers have issues, Soldiers usually come to the defence of Youth Corpers and usually support youth Corpers?
Ask any of your elder ones why have undergone NYSC if you think I'm lying.

I don't bother trying. Because most of them na scam. I told my mother and brother not to bother about mass recruitment from state or federal agencies. They didn't listen at the end. They didn't pick 1 out of 999 people that came for the screening exercise. I won't metion the name of the agency because we are in a public forum. But I knew it would happen. We need to change things in this country. If not we will be our own enemy.

Mr Man, if you don't want to apply, why are you here! Leave the thread for those that want to apply! Keep your preaching to yourself and stop discouraging people!!! angry

abeg oooo my people make una come, I applied for n-tech, then I received a message to report to my training center which I couldn't go due to my condition, so I now called the number on the text message I received from npower, n told him I couldn't report to my training center due to my condition, the guy said I should send my acct details and my npower ID too... Please is it genuine?

Well, if you are sure it's the number that sent the message that you called, send the npower ID and acct details. The person might want to assist you in processing your training payment since you can't come there in person due to your condition.
My Opinion though

Dear Nigerian Youth,

Please, refuse to be part of the poverty statistics in Nigeria. I am here to inspire many people that are willing to be free and become stable economically.

NO MONEY, NO FOOD.

I am not here to sell anything to you. The wealth I have created for myself is enough for me and my generation.

I trained myself on how to trade financial instruments. It is the skill that is creating wealth for me now and not my BTech, MSc and PhD certificates. It was not that I did not get employment.

I will advise you to think of acquiring digital skills to make a living. Skill like that of financial instruments trading is in high shortage here in the UK where I reside.

The good news is that I have been teaching and mentoring people on how to trade efficiently for FREE on nairaland.

You can do it by yourself instead of allowing people to help you trade. With that, you are in control of your financial journey. You won't even fall into the hand of people like Dandollar and other Ponzi Scheme promoters.

In fact, I got automatic employment from the Federal Government of Nigeria which I rejected. I got another employment from a University, I resigned voluntarily. I have proof for all my claims, and they are verifiable.

Check the link below for more details:

Hi Guys. I have news. Sorry I am writing under your comment, I still don't know how to use nairaland very well. CG made a statement recently that they would soon recruit 5k persons. If your connect is not the CG please forget it o, because it is the replacement he wants to use(just like customs did). He has his own list which he is going to publish instead of the one we have been waiting for.

You guys should just STFU! for once!! and admit you don't have any damn info!!

The Date on the Appointment Letter is January 1, 2022.

But the nscdc salary paid, was only for 3 months while the Appointment date is 6months

Why is it like that

Immigration paid their new recruited officers from the date on the Appointment Letter

Nscdc paid their new recruited officers from April to June instead of paying dem from January to June.

What's the rational/reason behind it
We have cautioned you since January to mind your business but it seems you no de hear word!. Evidence below

Mr Man, learn to mind your business. You are not an NSCDC officer, you are an NIS officer I guess. Now, let me clear you!
The date on your letter NIS was 16th August, 2021 and you did your induction for 3 months (September, October and November 2021) and was paid 3 months salary on the 3rd of December, 2021

The date on our letter NSCDC was 31st January 2022 not 1st January Oga! and we started our 3 months induction on 4th April 2022 after documentation was concluded in March 2022 at NHQ. We had our 3 months induction (April, May
and June 2022) and was paid 3 months salary on the 30th of June, 2022.

So, how's that different from the standard??!!

Mr Man, Learn to mind your business and face your "almighty" immigration work! undecided
