Travel / Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by SomD: 6:03pm On Apr 11, 2018
Hello everyone. Please a TB certificate that shows abnormal chest xray but no signs of Tb detected, no referall letter issued or sputum test done. Is this acceptable? The interpretation of the result is that the spine is a bit curved but can’t be treated as it poses no threat and even if it were to be corrected, it should be done as a child but not now as an adult because bones have now calcified. Can anyone clarify for me if this certificate is okay. Pic attached.

Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by SomD: 7:51pm On Feb 08, 2018
Dear friends, I need your input here. I don’t know if I am posting this on the right place but a friend is about to make a huge mistake and I need to prove to her that its not worth it. So shes due to deliver soon, she was denied American visa three times and as she had her two kids in America already shes so bitter that this third child won’t be born in USA. So she came up with an idea today, she said since she has a valid UK visa, she wants to come have the baby in UK, pay the hospital bills no matter how much it costs then get one of our friends who lives in Nigeria but also a british citizen (he lived in Uk for years and returned some years back) to claim to be her child’s father so he can give the child british citizenship. Please what do you think. Justwise if u comment, will be realy glad. Thank you guys in anticipation.

sleyflash:
@somD.. I can help with the first question becos I'm also in the same shoes. I will complete my 28days on the 11th of sept. But two things she needs to do. 1. During the application process she has to go for priority visa
2. She should email the school and request for a 2weeks extension after resumption..
And has for your second question,@justwise and @mimilyrics are in best position to clarify it.

Thanks so much for your reply. So will she include the two weeks extension when granted to her application?

Guys please can anyone help me answer this question. I really don't know much about UK student visas but i have a friend who is troubled. I wish i could read every thread one by one but i really can't as I need an answer asap. Please her course starts 18th of September in the UK. She has been on her 28 day count and by 9th of September the account will be ready. Please guys for a course starting 18th of September, is it too late? Secondly, while she was trying to sort out her tuition deposit the account dropped by £500, but it was replaced in less than 24 hours. Will that be a problem? Actually it was replaced by more than the £500 that left the account that day. Guys pleaseeeee help my friend. She's panicking.

Please is there any Uni of Derby student starting this January too or an old student. I wish to know what goes on at the induction and how to go about it when I eventually arrive since i have missed it. Sent a mail to the program leader to let her know that I will be unavoidably absent.

Travel / Re: Request For UNN Transcript Online by SomD: 9:23pm On Oct 11, 2015
My experience was splendid. I requested and paid online with my UBA mastercard on the 29th of June. I did not receive any log in details which will enable me track the transcript so i called the number on the contact list. They asked for my email and phone number. They sent me login details eventually but i had to mail them a couple of times before they finally sent it. On the 10th of August the transcript had arrived at my work place in Abuja. I was really impressed. I heard that if the destination was Enugu or around the east, it takes less than 5 days. And its DHL, Fedex or EMS but i chose DHL. I was charged 15,000 naira and it was stamped properly by my HOD and the exams records people. It was so convenient.

I intend relocating to the UK for a program. Everything is settled already except accommodation. Does anyone know how i can secure an accommodation without visiting the UK before I actually travel in a couple of months time.
