Lets just end this here. Whether Trump or not, the US will still exist. In as much as I am in my beloved country, Mr Trump has no control over me.

He can only deal with those that are rushing to go to America.

Not everyone hates all Nigerians. If you're comfortable in life and stay on your own, why would someone hate you? Every country has its own dark side, there are also bad Americans and so forth.

We should not always try to downgrade Nigeria. The whole world needs us just like we need them.

Your head is valid,i like the way you reason mehn, i want you guys to know that no country is 100 percent pure on this planet, like you said there are many country with their own mess, even American have their own... The problem we have is that some Nigerians over do and we misuse every opportunity comes to our ways because we only see it as advantages due to some people mentality, and we seems to dislike ourselves, But upon all Nigeria is still far better than many country in this planet and there are many people in love with Nigerians here ok, not all the whole world hates Nigerians, we are hardworking buddy here mehn.. and we are one of the country with best student here.. . @TWoods

You are going to make very few friends here and a lot of enemies because of your stand on certain issues but that shouldn't bother you that much.

Stand on what you believe in and keep putting across your opinion when you can

As long as you are not insulting anybody or derailing this thread i'm cool with it.

Good night.

Yeah very Good advice from justwise, Ogbeni TWoods... Se you don hear. Take it easy with people here, This life is vanity ...

Having had your major in mind, you'll search for schools, preferably state/public universities around the southern part of the US (living expenses are cheaper down south than north IMO). 2 to 3 school will be fine just to spread you risk of being admitted. Also let the prospect of getting funded by the school (Graduate Assistantship) be one of the factors to be considered in determining your school. Check out their app requirements in their website. Google is a great resource all through the process. Just a click and you get what you want. Turn in all the required documents. You may be asked to write the GRE and TOEFL to be considered for GA and that's a requirement. Getting GA is competitive so one has to get high scores in it. Some schools may ask for an evaluated transcript, that is changing it from Nigerian standard to US standard. World Education Service (WES) does that. Once all documents are turned in weather by email or courier or regular mail, the school makes their decision to admit or not. You are contacted after few weeks. Once admitted, most schools ask that you send a financial statement of your sponsor covering an equivalent amount specified for you. You can scan it to them or send it by courier. Once they receive it, they'll issue you your I-20 document and send it to your address. Once you get your I-20, you go ahead and pay SEVIS fee of $200, usually paid abroad, can't be paid from Nigeria. Then you are set for the embassy. Pay the visa fee, fill your DS-160 form online for a student visa (F1), book an appointment and date, get all supporting documents ready, prepare by reading people's transcript on here, pray, and go get your visa. Don't be scared with all the processes lined up here, it's a step at a time thing. Once you are determined, it'll be easy. People are doing this every day. Cheers.

This is Relevant information for newbies... o ya grab your copy grin , Bro God bless you for the time you devoted to gathered this information.

Okay. I haven't been able to contact them through their customer care line on their website. I know a particular centre where I intend to do the exam in PH. Can they register me considering my location?

You will have to call all the number provided in their website more often till they pick your call, they always busy attending to other customers, i think they should be able to register you in PH, because i remember i was told they can only ship their free kapplan text book to someone living outside the lagos. But try to confirm this, ..Success
