Me: There will be no reason for that as She is currently working at xxxy as a Senior Nurse, we have also agreed that she will take good care our child while am away, however, with the permission of my course advisor if it wouldn’t affect my academics, I will be visiting home during the long holidays.

Me: no I do not have any family I know of.

The VO wants to be sure you not planning on bringing your wife to US so as not to elop with her there! You can also use that to your advantage by declaring such as ties with your home country

Also telling the VO you have a relative in the US who is staying there would send a message to your VO that you might also do the same! The F1 visa is a non immigrant visa which means you plan to return to your home country..

Hello house, I was introduced by a friend to Nairaland as this is my first time applying for a F1 visa application.
I have been gained meaningful knowledge by reading questions and answers and now I have a question of mine I need answers to urgently please.
I just paid my visa fee and the available dates I can see here are January 2023 in Lagos.
Please what do I do as my school is to resume by August / September. Please I need help
