Spectrolite Multiventures Limited, a media production firm based in Warri, Delta State is seeking the services of a qualified and highly motivated and self-driven candidate to fill the position of Media Coordinator/Correspondent. .

Role Description

The Role will involve coordination and managing all aspects of media production video/audio and photography process from start to finish. The media coordinator/correspondent will develop and implement targeted communications and advertising content for a variety of media platform.

The position holder will also manage external paid productions, create and develop multimedia (audio/video/photo) contents for customers including jingles, demos music video/audio production etc. Help with creative direction, setting a budget, writing scripts, organizing logistics, deadlines, and communicating with the team each step of the way.

Key Responsibilities
• Create and develop multimedia (audio/video) content for customer stories, internal announcement videos, external promotional social videos, documentaries, product marketing videos, recruiting videos, corporate training and other enterprise-wide projects
• Script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines, and select optimal forms of media for projects
• Collaborate closely with internal clients and stakeholders to help facilitate the creation of multimedia content
• Plan video shoots; scout, select and reserve shoot locations
• Develop production schedules, coordinate logistics for production or events
• Select and hire additional crew and talent; direct and coach talent; make transportation arrangements for crew, talent and equipment; and ensure all location power needs are met
• Reserve and rent equipment
• Conduct taped or filmed interviews or narratives.
• Receive assignments or evaluate leads or tips to develop story ideas.
• Research a story's background information to provide complete and accurate information.
• Gather information for news stories.
• Arrange interviews with people who can provide information about a story.
• Establish and maintain relationships with individuals who are credible sources of information.
• Gather information about trending events through research, interviews, experience, or attendance at political, news, sports, artistic, social, or other functions.
• Manage audio/video library

• Excellent Communication, Computer and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding and mastery of new media platforms
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
Minimum Requirement
• A bachelor’s degree or higher diploma with at least two years professional experience in Radio, Tv,Film, sound or new media environment

Responsibilities
• Maintain and ensure daily general office functionality

Knowledge, skills & experience
• Good mastery using editing software such as Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere et.c
• Understanding of small format mixers, compression, EQ, effects processors, audio recording techniques for studio and field, multi-track and waveform editing
• Familiarity with professional cameras.
• Digital video editing, still and motion graphics design, and video compression for multiple delivery platforms.
• Ability to work independently

Camera operator/Photographer

Responsibilities
• Market and advertise services to attract clients
• Use various photographic techniques and equipment to capture subjects in commercial-quality videos and photographs

• Good mastery using photo/video editing software
• Familiarity with professional cameras.
• Ability to work independently
