Episode 9

Daniel and Darasimi talked for long time, Daniel gave her all she brought for her. Both were happy and departed. The car headed back to the palace. Daniel got into the palace, the car was parked by the driver he came down of the car, turning his head to the right side. He saw Ruth and her friends sitting there, they were all gisting with textbooks with each of them. They were all preparing for the post UME examination. Daniel smiled a little, he trudged to the swimming pool, just to greet them before entering into the palace. He got there and continued smiling. Rachael sighted his presence first. She smiled back at him. ‘Hi.’ She waved. The other friends also looked at the back at the same interval. They were all smiling at Daniel. Daniel bowed for them all and walked closer. ‘Hello friends.’ He smiled. Ruth was facing the textbook she held squarely, as if she was that serious with it. She was only shy to greet him and couldn’t look at him. ‘Hello.’ Beatrice also waved smiling. ‘Yeah, hello’ Stella also greeted. ‘I’m Dan, may I know you all, apart from My Princess.’ He replied still smiling. ‘I feel flattered.’ The princess thought in her, nevertheless, she didn’t behave as if she saw all what was on. ‘I’m Rachael.’ She introduced, standing up and smiling. She stretched her hand forward to shake him. ‘Oooh! Good name.’ They both shook. Stella also stood up and stretched her hand forward. ‘I’m stella.’ She used her hand to pull up her gown at the chest, as if she was in a fashion parade. ‘What’s all wrong with this one, is it the matter of her blue gown or what? As if her name is even fine.’ Daniel thought within him. ‘Aah! You girls have good names, Stella! Wao!’ He smiled, although not that impressed. Beatrice also stood up and smiled, stretching forward her hand also. ‘I’m Beatrice.’ She also introduced. ‘Beatrice?’ Daniel was surprised. ‘Sure, you don’t like the name?’ Beatrice asked smiling. ‘I do, even like mad. That’s the name of my sister, that’s why I’m a little bit surprised. ‘That sounds cool.’ Beatrice laughed. Daniel walked back to the princess and bowed. ‘My princess, I greet thee.’ He uttered bowing. Ruth just faced her back and saw him bowing. They all laughed out at him. ‘You don’t need all this Daniel.’ She smiled. Daniel raised his head and also smiled to her. “I do ma, you are the princess of this Kingdom. I do need it.’ He uttered. ‘That! I won’t receive from you, don’t use “ma” for me again.’ She smiled and wondered. ‘I must, its your deserved right, I must always place it on you.’ He uttered. Beatrice laughed out from within. The other girls came together and started talking silently. They all liked Daniel. ‘I insist! No!’ The princess said. ‘Alright ma.’ He uttered. ‘You’ve just said ma again!’ She exclaimed. ‘I’ll just start getting used to it ma.’ He replied. ‘Okay, make that fast.’ She smiled also. ‘What have you guys been reading?’ He asked and smiled. ‘Working some difficult-without-answer mathematics questions. So tough.’ Princess uttered. ‘Sure. We’ve not gotten any, since.’ Rachel uttered. Daniel moved towards their textbooks and taught them all.

Episode 9

3. Furious

Ashley's P.O.V.
Jade decided to go home after a while of talking and comforting. But I couldn't stop thinking about it....so I decided to go to where Harry and the boys were working today, I think it was a photo shoot. Harry always lets me know where they are working just in case of an emergency and I took this as a pretty big emergency. I made it to there shoot about 45 minutes later and started looking for a sign of one of the boys. "Ashley? What are you doing here?" I turned around and saw Niall's face smiling. "Hey Niall, I'm actually looking for Harry. Do you know where he is?" "Yeah he is in the middle of the shoot right now he should be done in 5." I blew out a huge breathe. "You okay?" "Yeah Jade just told me something really big this morning and I still haven't been able to calm myself." I said talking fast. Niall put his hand on my should and motioned for me to walk with him. "Need a little help from Harry to calm down?" I nodded and he took me past many people to where the photo shoot was taking place I saw Harry, talking to what looked like the photographer. "You're all set" I heard the photographer say as Harry turned around and saw me. He knew the second he looked into my eyes that something was wrong. "Ashley, What's wrong?" Niall turned and walked away, both me and Harry gave him a thank you as he left, then Harry led me to a quiet corner and sat me on a couch. "What's up?" I tear rolled down my cheek as I told him all about Jade and the other night and how I was frightened for her but also really furious about what Jacob did to her. By the end I was cradled in Harry's arms crying a little into his chest. "I just didn't know what to do and once Jade left, I couldn't stop freaking out about it and I am truly worried for her and I just couldn't calm down which is why I'm here." I said through my tears. Harry lifted my head and wiped my tears. "It will be okay. I'm sure this jerk wont try anything again and if he does then he will have to speak to me and my fist." I gave a little chuckle as I straightened myself up. "I'll probably beat you to that one." "I don't want to be one of those controlling fiances but please try to stay away from him." I sighed and nodded. He gave me a kiss on the forehead. "Would you like to stay here for the rest of the day?" I nodded as her brought me to a chair on the side of the set so I could stay there and whenever they didn't need Harry he could come be with me.

Harry's P.O.V.
I felt bad for her, I would look over every once and a while and she would look so sad. I always took advantage of when I could go be with her, but when I couldn't one of the other boys would, just to make sure she was okay. I felt like all the boys loved her like a sister and I couldn't ask for more, I would never want one of them to fight with her... even though I'm sure that would never happen. The end of the day neared and it was completely dark out. We finished with our photo shoot and took off. I drove everyone home and by the time I dropped everyone off, Ashley had fallen asleep with her hand in mine. I pulled into our driveway and shut off the car, as soon as I did she woke up. "Morning sleepy head." I said laughing. I got out of the car, walked around to the passenger side and picked her up out of the car. "You know I am capable of walking." She smiled at me. "I know." She shook her head and giggled. Once we got inside I put her on the couch. "How about some Hot Cocoa?" I said, knowing it's her favorite. She nodded and I gave her a peck on her nose and went to make hot chocolate. By the time I got back she was cuddled up in a blanket. "Thank you so much." She said. "For what?" "Being the best fiance ever" I kissed her then handed her the hot chocolate. I sat next to her, lifting the blanket on top of her and placing it beneath it as well. "Only thing that could make this better is some beauty and the beast." She turned on the T.V. and went to disney channel, I'm pretty sure she knew this was playing, she turned it on and drank her hot cocoa. Once she was done we cuddled on the couch and drifted off to sleep in each others arms.

Episode -8-

DARASIMI, a young looking beautiful girl. She is a little bit tall, just of the same height with Daniel. She is from a polygamous home, her father with three wives. She is the first daughter of the family and the first born. Her mother, the first wife.

She attended the same secondary school with Daniel. She was always giving off sweet scent and was so beautiful. She had the best handwriting that set, the best hairdo and the likes. She was a very intimate friend with Daniel before they started “going out”. She was also a christian, she had no siblings.

She had been expecting the arrival of Daniel for long. She was outside their compound with some of her friends that went to that same school, that fortunate day.

The jeep pulled out from a corner, leading to Darasimi’s house. It was Daniel. He had sat very close to the door, eager to see if he would meet a padlock at their gate or meet her at home. To his great surprise, Darasimi was outside. He rushed down of the car immediately he ordered the driver to halt.

‘Darasimi!’ He screamed. Darasimi viewed him and rushed to him also.

‘Daniel!’ She exclaimed also.

Daniel held her hands firmly and both walked up to Dara’s friends. He bowed and greeted them. They were happy seeing him, he was the head boy of the college before they graduated.

‘How are you?’ The waved to him. Daniel just went there to excuse Darasimi from them, so they went out to catch fun together.

2. New Flat

Ashley's P.O.V.
Even though I love Disney World, I'm glad to be home, well my new home. Harry and I bought a new flat in London, actually he bought it and surprised me with it when we came back yesterday. It was absolutely amazing. Though there were boxes everywhere right now and our mattress was on the floor, It will get organized soon. A couple days after we had come back, Harry was getting back with the other boys to obviously get back to work. I woke up and he was sound asleep, so I made my way around the boxes in our room and snuck off to the kitchen. I looked in all the boxes in there until I found a box of pancake mix and I sighed with relief. I literally need pancakes every morning or I might go crazy.. I mixed the batter and poured out 4 pancakes in the pan when I heard shuffling feet behind me. "Good morning" I said. keeping my back towards him. "Making some pancakes?" He asked in his raspy morning voice, I turned around and smiled. "What else?" He chuckled and walked to my side, putting his hand on my hip. "Mind making a few extra? The boys are stopping by to see the new place this morning before we get to work." He said while sticking his finger in the batter and licking it. "That is so disgusting." I mumbled with a slight smile. He looked at me as a cheeky grin grew on his face. "What this?" He took the same finger and picked up twice as much batter and shoved it in his mouth, "Mmmmmm" I shoved him "Nasty." We both continued laughing. I finished the pancakes, I ended up making 15, so everyone could have at least 2, I figured Niall would want more. He has become like an older brother to me ever since I have started to hang out with the boys more and more, maybe it's because we share the same love of food. "Hellloooo!" I heard Niall's voice shout through the door "Mmmm I smell pancakes!" He said, I could hear his footsteps picking up to the kitchen. I turned around to see him there licking his lips, as slowly behind him the other boys walked slowly in. "Help yourself!" I said to them as they all dug in. (I made sure to grab a couple before they started eating, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.) There were no pancakes left by the time they all pounced on the plate and in a flash they were sitting down, stuffing their faces. "These are great pancakes" Louis said with a full mouth. I chuckled. "Thank you! I have had a lot of practice." It's true. I always had to cook for myself when I lived with Rob. I shivered at the thought. and I think my face turned sour because Harry leaned over to my ear. "Everything okay?" He whispered, I turned and looked him in his caring eyes. I genuinely smiled at him "Yeah, never been better!" He smiled back then turned his attention to the pancakes. Once everyone was finished we all still sat at the table a few of them holding their stomachs. "So Ashley, What do you have planned for today?" Liam asked. "Well, Jade invited herself over. She said she needed to talk to me, so I'll probably be hanging with her all day." "Uh Oh, What is she talking to you about?" Harry asked. "Not sure, she sounded serious though." I saw that Zayn looked at the clock out of the corner of my eye, "Alright boys, I think it's time to go!" They all stood up, and I got a hug from each one, with a longer and tighter one from Harry and a kiss to go with it. "See you later" He said smiling. I smiled back. "See you all later" I said as I watched them walk out the door. I sighed as I fell on the couch and drifted into a light sleep, that was interrupted by a loud knock on the door and the sound of Jade's voice. "Ashley! Wake up!" She yelled, throwing a pillow at me. "Nice to see you too" I said slowly coming out of my slumber. She sat down next to me with fear in her eyes. "What's up?" She looked at me for a couple seconds. "You're still a virgin... right?" she said in a mumble, I could tell she was uncomfortable. "Yeah, waiting till marriage, I always told you that." I looked her in the eye and I knew what she was getting to. "You didn't?" I said in disbelief. "Here's the story. I went to a party last night and saw Jacob..." Jacob was her ex who was completely mental. "I started drinking because I honestly didn't know what else to do... I was missing him again.." "You shouldn't miss that dirtbag." I said a little upset. "I couldn't help it. But later on I think I put my drink down... and I remember blacking out then..I-I woke up next to Jacob.... I think we might have-" "Wait! Did that jerk put one of those drugs that makes you pass out in your drink and then rape you?" I said with anger swelling up inside me. "I don't know. I blacked out I can barely remember anything!" Tears started to roll down her face. I took her in my arms and comforted her, that was all I could do right now. but when the time is right, I'm confronting that jerk and telling him off... one way or another.

1. Disney Dream

Harry’s P.O.V.
I took my camera out of my backpack that was sitting on the hotel bed and turned it to face me as I started recording.

“Hi babe, as you know we arrived in Florida last night and are obviously at Disney World. You think we are here just because I’m break which is half the reason. But I also remember those late nights when you would just blabber on about how you love Disney and want a proposal there,” I chuckled at the memory. “I don’t think you remember them completely because of how over tired you were while talking about it, but don’t worry I did. So I decided that I should get a move on. But I think I hear the shower slowing down so I guess I’ll see you soon, I love you!” I turned off the camera as I heard the shower stop. Ashley came out about 10 minutes later in her tank top and shorts and her hair in a braid.

“Ready?” I said with a smile. “Yes, Of Course!” we put on our shoes and made our way to her favorite park. Magic Kingdom. As the day went on I tried to keep my mind off tonight, but I kept thinking about it as I got more and more nervous. It was starting to get dark which means it was almost time. I was going to do it during the fireworks show. But it was getting harder and harder to wait. “Come on!” Ashley yelled as she grabbed my arm. “We have to go find a good spot for the parade!” She had a huge smile on her face as she pulled me. I laughed watching her; she was like a kid in a candy store. She stopped walking for a second. “What’s so funny?” “I just like how excited you get over Disney World. It’s adorable.” I said with a big smile. She blushed a little and continued walking. “Right… Let’s get that spot." She said smiling back. She pulled me towards "Liberty Square" and we picked a seat right near the edge. We lent up against one of the buildings, I put my arm around her and she put her head on my shoulder, and at that moment. I felt like nothing could go wrong. Like everything was so perfect, it felt like I was dreaming.

Ashley’s P.O.V.
Today was amazing. Spending the whole day in Disney with Harry has been great. This really is the happiest place on earth. My thoughts were interrupted by Harry putting his camera in my face I laughed and pushed it away from my face "Having a good day?" He asked with a smile. I looked at him behind the camera. "How could I not be, It was so perfect!" He nodded with approval. "Good!" He turned off the camera as we continued making our way back towards the castle. For the firework show. When we arrived very soon after the parade we ended up getting a spot right in front of the castle. The show started only about 5 minutes after getting out spots and as I was watching in amazement I felt Harry’s eyes on me so I turned to him and he just smiled. “What?” I said with a giggle. He grabbed my hand. “You’re amazing.” He said walking me forward a little in front of the crowd. I was confused when I saw a light on us and then realized the light was from a camera when Harry and I were projected onto the castle. My jaw dropped as I looked back at Harry, He just continued to talk. “These past few years of getting to know you have been a dream come true and I can’t picture my life without you.” He reached in his pocket, pulled out a box, and got down on one knee, my hand that wasn't in Harry’s hand made its way to my mouth because I was not confused anymore. Tears were forming in my eyes as I heard the oohs and ahhs from all around. “Will you please marry me so I never have to be without you again?” He finished and looked at me with hopeful eyes. I couldn't speak, tears were rolling down my face and my hand was now on my chest. I nodded and embraced Harry in a hug. He picked me up and spun me around in a full circle before putting me back down. He let go of me, retrieved the ring out of the box and put it on my finger I gave him a kiss and when we pulled away his face was glowing. He put his forehead against mine, with all the clapping in the background I quietly told him I loved him. “I love you too.” He said giving me another kiss. I can’t believe I just got engaged! I didn't know how this day could get any better, until this happened.

Episode -7-


‘The king would be arriving soon.’ The
doctor proclaimed the arrival of the King to
the queen. She was worried on hearing
this, she wished her husband was dead,
she hated Daniel for saving the King’s life
from danger.


….


It was as everyone knew, it was as usual.
David was beating his wife again, this time,
there was nobody to save her away from
him. David beat her till she fainted. He was
drunk that afternoon. Bibi couldn’t help
the situation, rather, she was also beaten.
She had always pray for a safe trip for her
brother so that he could be able to deal
with her useless father.


At last, the king and Daniel returned from
overseas, the operation was successful and
all turned out to be success. The king could
walk on his feet again, the driver was
already at the airport hours before the
arrival of the king. People were happy
seeing the king again, hale and hearty. He
was taken to the palace and Daniel. The
king was really happy with Daniel. He
never expected him to do that for him.
He called a meeting with the chiefs, to
greet them all, to know what had been
going on since he left and to know what he
can do to appreciate Daniel.


‘The kingdom has been in a total confusion
my king!’ Chief Tunde said.


‘Confusion? What happened.’ He asked
wondering.


‘Yes my king, the queen has turned the
kingdom into total confusion, she sat on the
throne, commanded and killed many
people my king.’ Chief collins uttered.


‘What! Let’s leave her issue for now, let’s
talk about Daniel. As you all know what he
has done for me, what can I do to pay
him.’ He asked.


‘King, I guess you can send him to school,
at least he’s not from a family that is that
okay.’ Chief Tunde commented, smiling.


‘You can also give his family a lot of
money.’ Chief Kolade added.
‘You can let him start living in this palace
as a Royal Son.’ Chief Collins added.


‘They will all be done as you’ve wished.’ He
said.


‘I’m so sorry for all that happened in my absence, I will correct them all my chiefs.’ The king quickly added.

The king became furious about what the
queen did. He was infuriated and very
annoyed. He spoke annoyingly to her and
warned her never to do that again.


The king called a meeting between his
family about the issue of Daniel that will
start living with them. The queen was
angry on hearing this, she became annoyed
and left the meeting angrily. Ruth was so
happy that Dan will start living with her
family.


All she had ever wanted!

Episode -6-

Two women ran inside the palace, they were in wrappers and fighting over a new born baby. The guards at the front of the door tried to stop them from entering but they pushed him to a side and rushed in. The queen was on the throne, relaxing with two guards at her back holding a fan.

The queen was surprised seeing them rush into the palace, they both knelt before the throne with one weeping and the other with a baby boy sweating profusely.

‘What is the meaning of this rubbish?’ She shouted.

The two women were shivering with fear, the one with the child expressed. “We both gave birth to a child yesterday night, this foolish woman also gave birth to a boy, she slept on her child and he died. She has now been claiming that she’s the owner of the child.” She said.

‘What!’ She shouted. “Is it now because of this foolish issue you’ve barged into my palace? You have no courtesy, I’m the king presently and order for you both to be beheaded tomorrow and the baby becomes the royal baby.’ She uttered sharply.

The two women were beheaded the following day, everyone, including the chiefs feared her and all prayed for quick recovery of the King. The King is not as wicked as this when he was there.

She received a phone call that day from the Doctor, who informed her that the operation was successful and they would be coming in some days time. She was upset by this call, she threw away the phone and thought in her “this man is coming again to rule.’ She thought.

A maid just came out of the kitchen with a glass cup and a juice. She knelt before her to serve her the juice. She looked at her angrily as she was pouring the juice into the glass cup. She shouted at her suddenly and the juice fell, she ordered for her to be locked up in the cell. The guards themselves were worried, they didn’t know what to do to satisfy her.

She was wicked.

Episode 5

Gloria came out and met her son trying to volunteer himself as a donor, the queen also arrived at the scene and was surprised seeing Daniel, wanting to be a donor. She rushed to advice the doctor that she had found a donor for the king. The doctor rushed out on hearing this, he was annoyed but pretended to be happy seeing him.

Preparations started for both of them to travel out. The king was in pain, and was happy he found a donor. Gloria wasn’t happy hearing her son being a donor, same as his father, David. Princess Ruth was so happy that the guy would help her father, the Queen was also happy and promised to repay them with goodness.

…..

The council of elders and the Queen were sitting at the palace for a meeting. They wanted to choose a representative in place of the king till he comes back. The Queen was just shouting on top of her voice, she insisted ruling her husband’s throne.

Queen was a wicked and heartless woman, it wasn’t that she loved her husband that much, she was only pretending. She was happy she had no male child so that if the king should die, she would take over the throne.

To the greatest surprise of the council, she stood up and put on the crown, she sat on the throne and said,’ as from today till my husband comes back, I will be controlling this kingdom.’ She said and laughed out.

Ruth and her friends were in Ruth’s room, gisting about their admissions. They were all happy they made it, although they were all not brilliant but the fact about them being the children of chieves in that kingdom.

‘That guy is great o, never knew he would do it.’ Princess said ‘What are you saying? Rachel asked. ‘Just remembering the issue of the guy who told me he would donate kidney for my dad.’ She said. ‘Hmmn! Don’t let me hear oo.’ Beatrice added. ‘That what?’ They all laughed.

Chapter Three


You don’t get to meet the Local Government Inspector very often. Not outside Omu-Aran, the local government headquarters and definitely not personally. She had been waiting for him outside the town council office. She had been offered a chair and she had politely refused. She was too tensed up to sit. She still could not figure out why the LGI would want to meet with her. And then there was the matter of Nicholas.His house was been watched? By who? What was ….? “Corper” Her thoughts were interrupted.”Get inside the car, I’m leaving for Omu-Aran. I’ll drive you to your lodge, I need to ask you some questions.” What questions?She wondered as she walked towards his car.Wait, is he going to ask me out?She had heard rumours.Oh my God! No! Not me!She entered the car and shut the door. His car was very neat.Very neat people always have something to hide. “Okay Kate, are you friends with Nicholas?”This is about Nicholas? He is not asking me out, thank God! “Not really sir. We teach in the same school though.” It wasn’t a lie. They were not friends.Why the sudden interest in Nicholas? “Okay. Does he have friends here? Other people must have seen them too. “No sir.” She answered, trying her best to keep a straight face. “He mostly keeps to himself” “Okay” he grunted. They rode in silence for a while. It looked like he was done with his questions.”Your lodge is down that road, right?” He pointed in the wrong direction but she nodded her agreement.”You can come down here” he said stopping the car. She stepped out of the car and he drove away without saying another word. Well, that was weird. How could I think he would ask me out?She was still a long way from her lodge.Nicholas’ house is close though.

She walked towards Imoji. It was a part of Arandun she did not visit often. Most of her students did not have parents who could afford properties on that side of town. Nicholas lived very close to the richest people in the town.Surely they will notice any strange person lurking around. Nicholas’ house was closer than she thought. She did not see any strange person lurking in any dark corners so she moved closer. Suddenly she stopped. She could not believe what she saw. Oh my God, who is that?

“Sir I don’t understand why you would want us to do that. We can take care of the problem once and for all. My men are already….” “Faruk, listen to me” His voice was always calm. It was one of the reason his men feared him. He never showed his anger. At least not in his voice.”Are you my boss?” “No sir. Oga, I’m sorry, i just don’t understand sir”He obviously wanted some explanation. “Okay Faruk, how about i give you a short explanation. 250,000 Naira every month. You see, that makes me boss. You understand that?” “I understand perfectly sir” “Good” He threw his phone on the table.He doesn’t understand. Foolish boy.

Lion King was his favourite cartoon. The story was centered on the Lions; Simba’s Father, Simba then Simba’s son. They were great characters but his favourite character was Timon. He loved the character in a way no adult should. And he was always part of his worst nightmares. He had had many nightmares where he saw a hyena tearing Timon apart. He would wake up from these nightmares scared. He had no idea what the time was or even if he had seen Timon in his dream but he woke up very scared. His eyes were still shut as he tried to figure out where he was. He was lying on something soft, probably a mattress. The scent of the place was really familiar. A grinding machine started in the distance, it sounded just like his neighbour’s machine. He opened his eyes.Am I at home?All windows were closed. But he could still recognise his room even in the dark.How did I get home? Dele? I was going to meet the boss.He opened his windows. Everything looked normal.Who kidnapped me? Why would they return me?Everything was exactly as he left them. He looked outside the window again.Is that… is that Kate? What is she doing here? Oh my God, she is coming here?She already saw him. She was already at his door. “Hi Kate” he said opening the door. “What are you doing here?” She stopped mid step. It looked like she was going to hug him. “I’m sorry, please come in” She came in without saying a word. He kept his eyes on her as she sat down on his reading chair. He knew what must be going through her mind and he had thought about it himself. Why did he call her? He still did not know why. He had called her and here she was. “How did you get back?” That was going to be the first of many questions he assumed. “I have no idea. I just woke up and found myself back in my room.” She still looked confused. He was too.

“Nicholas, as you can imagine, i have lots of questions to ask you. I’ll ask only one for now. Why would anyone want to kidnap you?” She had a very serious look on. Why did she care what happened to him? “Of course I’ve had time to think about that. And to be honest I don’t know who will want to kidnap me. My Mom is not rich, I’m obviously not rich. I’m not the only Corper here. By the way the kidnap looked personal” He realised he was talking to himself. “Sorry Kate. I just don’t understand what’s happening.” “Do you have maybe, an uncle or something? Your Dad? You didn’t mention your Dad. Is he… I don’t know, you didn’t mention him” She had a point. Why had he not considered him. “My Dad, wow! Why didn’t I think of him? First, I’ve not seen him in years. I’m kind of an illegitimate son. You can imagine the kind of life I had.” He could see pity on her face. He did not like being pitied. “No, it’s not like that. My Mom took care of me. But the thing is my Dad was rich. He was a politician. A big one” She looked surprised. “Nicholas, you’re saying ‘was’. Why are you talking about him in past tense? Is he… like dead?” She said the last part in a whisper. “Yeah Kate, he is. He’s dead. Recently actually. Three months ago. But that can’t have anything to do with this. I don’t even use his name. Wait what is that?” He moved towards the window. He heard footsteps. They seemed to be running. “Nick, is that Kemi’s Father?” She looked at him. “Oh my God!” Nobody saw me at her place. How did they know? What do I tell them? “Kate, what do I do?” She looked confused. They were close now; Kemi’s Father, one of the town’s chiefs and two men he did not recognise. “Kemi, they’re close” He was really scared now. “CORPER COME OUT O. COME OUT”

He had to face them. He had to leave the room, he did not want them to see Kate. He stepped outside, it was time for Timon to face the Hyenas.

Chapter TWO


Kate loved children, but this afternoon she was in no mood for her students. It was a hot afternoon. The sun seemed to be at war with the earth, and Arandun seemed to be its target at the moment. Arandun was a nice place and Kate loved living there. Its serene village environment suited her. She loved the simplicity of the villagers and their fascination with her vast knowledge. She looked around her, the staff room where she was sitting was small and sparsely furnished. The room like every other room in the school was made with clay bricks.It was roofed with aluminium sheets but it might as well had been open roofed when it rained.

Kate rocked her phone with her fingers. It was a pleasant surprise to find a mobile network signal in Arandun. The surprise she received in the early hours of the morning though, wasn’t a pleasant one. It was pleasant at first. Nick never called her, she did not even know he had her number. Most would have thought they would be good friends but they were not.

“Kate, look, I’m in trouble. I don’t understand what happened but they might be after me.” “They? Who is they?” “I don’t know. Somebody. And i think Kemi is dead!” “Wait! What?! Nicholas! Are you running? Just stop, i can’t hear you. Hello, hello… Nicholas?”

The conversation kept playing in her mind.Who was after him? How could Kemi be dead? What did it have to do with Nick? Why did he call her?So many questions, not a single answer. “Kate, what are you… never mind. The LGI wants to see you.” She had not realised Emeka was standing in the room. He was her friend. At least that was what she believed. He was a good guy. But right now, not even him could take her mind off Nicholas.

“You heard me, right?” “Yeah, i did. Sorry.”Why wasn’t there news of Kemi’s death yet? Maybe Nicholas was wrong. Maybe he was mistaken. “Emeka, did you hear anything about Kemi?” “Kemi? No. Why?” She could see he was surprised by her question. Kemi was not her favorite person. “Kate what is happening? You’ve been in this office alone for hours and you are clearly distracted by something.” He turned to face her, blocking the doorway. “It’s nothing. I was just asking.” She wasn’t a good liar. He must have bought this lie though because he moved out of the way. “Whatever you say. Just make sure you see the LGI” “Ok Emeka. I’ll see you at the lodge” She looked around her. It was only a few weeks that she had spent in the Arandun Community College but it was already a big part of her life. She could not imagine harm coming to anyone in Arandun. She was about to lock the door when her phone rang.

“Nicholas?” “Nicholas? I sent for you. Didn’t you get my message?” The LGI? Nicholas and the LGI calling her on the same day. Something was definitely happening. “I’m on my way sir. I was just trying to round…” He dropped the call. Strange man. It wasn’t a surprise no one liked him. Her phone rang again. What! She already said she was coming. “Hello sir, I’m on my way” “Kate, don’t go near my house. Somebody is watching the place”Nicholas? “Nicholas? Where are you?” She sounded more agitated than he did. “Just don’t go to my place. Promise me you won’t.” “What are you saying?” “Shhh, someone is coming. Please don’t…”

She had received two scary calls from a guy who a few hours ago was just a colleague. He wasn’t even a friend.The LGI. She had forgotten about him. She was not afraid of him right now. She was scared enough already. She had so many questions her head was almost bursting. There was one thing she knew she had to do, one way to get some answers; check Nicholas’ house.

The phone by his bedside rang. It rarely did, but when it did he had to answer . “What do you have for me son?” “We have a problem sir. A girl sir.” “Have you taken care of it, the problem?” “No sir. Just wanted to give you the information first sir” “Oh, thank you information officer.” He said with a scoff. “Take care of the problem.” There was only one thing he hated more than unsolved problems, foolish people who had the nerve to tell him about them.

Darkness. It was one of the twelve plagues the Egyptians suffered as recorded in the bible. He had always wondered why darkness was considered punishment. Now he understood. It had a certain torture that pushed you to your wit’s end. Nicholas was definitely at his wit’s end. A few more hours in the darkness and he would lose his mind.

He wondered how he had not lost it already. Twelve hours ago he was a normal twenty four year old, living a normal life and staying out of trouble. Now, he had woken up on the same bed with a dead girl, put an innocent girl who wasn’t even his friend in trouble, been knocked out cold by something he didn’t still understand and now was in darkness so thick he saw better with his eyes closed. How long was he knocked out for? He could have been out for hours or days, he had no idea. All he could think about was the blackness and darkness that surrounded him.

“God, I need light!” he screamed in frustration. “There you go boy” He was momentarily blinded with the sudden light shining on his face. “I have to tell you, I am not God. I just answered your prayer on his behalf” Nicholas couldn’t believe it. Had he been in the room all along? Then he must have heard his call to Kate. “What’s going through your mind boy? You must think I’m a ghost passing through walls right? Well, you probably won’t believe that i opened the door and entered. See I’m very stealth. It’s one of my best qualities.”

Nicholas was still lost in thought not paying much attention to the man speaking. “Okay boy, let’s go. The boss wants to speak with you.” Nicholas, still not speaking, stood up. “Are you dumb boy? You’ve got nothing to say to poor old Dele?” He wasn’t a people person. At least that was what he was told. He was here, scared, and poor old Dele was complaining because he wasn’t exchanging Christmas stories with him? “Mr Dele , I’ve got more on my mind right now. I’m really not interested in your qualities. Well except killing is one of them.” Dele chuckled. But he did not reply.”Something I’ll like to discuss with you Dele, is your boss. Who is he?” “So now you wanna talk? Very funny. Well, I’ll let you form your own opinion about my boss. You’ll meet him soon.” And he did not say another word.

They walked through a corridor. The walls were painted white. There wasn’t much to see. ‘The boss’ obviously loved darkness. The light available was just enough to aid movement. He had been more relaxed than most would be in his situation but a certain feeling of dread fell on him as thy neared the end of the corridor. He could see three doors. As they moved closer to the doors he stared hearing voices. One of the voices sounded familiar but he could not place it.

Dele seemed to have grown very silent. He did not make any sound. Almost as if he was not breathing. He looked behind him and Dele was not there. The guy must really be stealth. It looked like he was supposed to enter through one of the three doors.

For some reason he started getting scared again.Just open one of the doorshe told himself. The voices were gone.Just open one of the doors. What door was he supposed to open?Just open a door, d--n it! He moved towards the first door. The lock looked newly made.On to the next door, new lock? Obvious trouble.

The second door was slightly open.Move to the next door, slightly open is slightly fishy. The third door was normal.This must be it. It is time to meet the boss.The sweaty palms were returning. He steadied his hand on the door handle. The last thing he wanted was to look weak. Slowly, he turned the lock. It didn’t open. Then he heard the voices again.Where were they coming from?

He turned suddenly. A sharp pain pierced through his neck. The pain eased and he felt really happy. A smile spread across his face as he dropped to his knees.Lovely! Oh I love you too Mom. His eyes wee closing. He felt like sleeping. As he went to sleep he saw a dark figure. “He’s down sir” What did he mean by down? He just wanted to sleep. Wait, Dele?

Chapter One

.
The morning was cold, the leaves were
wet, it wasn’t a pleasant time to run. The
city was still asleep and it did not look like
it would wake up anytime soon. Sweat ran
down his face as he ran, his muscles
ached, his heart raced but he kept on
running.


Nicholas wasn’t an athlete but he ran like
he was. If he was an athlete, he probably
would have stopped running. No athlete
needed to run this hard, no athlete needed
to run at this time.
“Just get home” he said to himself. Home
was an old room with rusted roofing
sheets. It did not have the clean toilet, the
cozy kitchen with the gas cooker and the
always cold refrigerator he was used to. It
was home nonetheless. And it was the
place Nicholas had to get to.


As he ran he looked at his now familiar
race track. It wasn’t a race track until this
morning but it was familiar. It was a bush
path, a narrow bush path, rarely used by
people. It was one of the reasons he chose
the path. The path looked especially lonely
that morning but it wasn’t going to set him
back, he had to get home.


A light shining in the distance caught his
attention, judging by the distance it had to
be coming from his house. That was
strange. He lived alone. He had no friends
and he definitely wasn’t expecting
anybody. He reduced his pace. A lot of
thoughts crowded his mind. He still had to
run, but it was not right, a light?
He moved closer. There was no doubt, the
light was coming his house. In the dark his
house looked nice. The old structure had a
beautiful silhouette. He had been thinking
of putting up window curtains but he had
not gotten around to it. So now he could
see inside his room. There was nobody
inside as far as he could see. He decided it
was better to solve the puzzle of how the
light got to his room than to stay out in the
cold early morning.


He was now very close to his house. He
slowed to a walk. Everywhere was quiet, no
sound came from his room. He could hear
his heart beating. He tried to calm himself,
but no part of him understood what calm
was anymore. His feet kept moving, but
every other part of him seemed to be
numb. He moved closer to his house, his
eyes seemed to have snapped out of their
numbness because now they darted in all
directions looking for any sign of
movement. As he approached his doorway,
he noticed his door was open. Now
everything was becoming weird. First he
thought all he had to do was get home,
now it looked like someone had been in his
room.


He entered the room slowly and quietly,
looked around, everything looked fine. The
light he had seen came from a candle
burning by his bed. It was good he came
when he did, his house would have been
burnt by morning.
He put down the candle and lay on the
bed. He had lived a simple uneventful life
but no one will describe his life as
uneventful now. And he was sure it wasn’t
going to be simple anymore either.
Then he saw it. It was getting closer. The
hair on his neck stood, his palms were
getting wet, what was happening to him. It
was close now, but he could not move.
“Corper” he had a voice call out.
Then everything went dark.

Episode 4-

The Queen and the princess rushed back to the hospital to check on the king and tell the Doctor that nobody was found. The driver drove as fast as he could, the queen rushed down and straight to the Doctor’s office to tell him about it.

‘Your Royal Highness, you have to get it, its dangerous.’ The doctor worried.
‘But no one is trying to volunteer, nobody. I wish I can.’ She said sadly.
‘But I can help you ma.’ The doctor said.
‘Yes, any amount, I will pay.’ She said fastly with loud voice.
‘I can get someone that will donate but its costly.’ He said.
‘Just tell me the amount of money, I will pay.’ She said with panic.
‘A million naira?’ He asked.
‘Is that all?’ She paused. ‘I will pay!’ She exclaimed.
‘Okay, just take It easy, please ma!’ He said with concern.
‘I want to see him.’ She said quickly
‘You can go ma.’ He said.
The doctor smiled when he left. ‘I’m gonna get manie!’ He said and laughed.

Daniel was looking at the princess where he was, he stood up and moved near her.
‘What’s happening here please.’ He inquired softly. The princess looked at him, she thought if she should ignore him or at least answer him. ‘The King is ill.’ She said and faced front. ‘Ill?’ He said and wondered. ‘Yes!’ Princess shouted. He was scared at her shout and went back to sit down quietly. Ruth thought in her that it was wrong of her to do that, she went near where he was sitted and sat with him.

‘I’m sorry please, its not my fault, we need a donor critically.’ She said soberly. ‘Donor? Kindney?’ He asked. ‘Yes.’ She replied. ‘I guess I can help.’ He said. ‘What!’ She wondered.

23. Being there

Harry's P.O.V.
It felt great to actually remember everything. I have never felt this great in my life! Me and Ashley are doing great and even though we may fight every once and a while, We make it through. I loved her with all my heart and I plan to tell her that soon. I just need the right setting. "We should get you back, I'm sure the others are curious about how you are doing." Ashley said with a smile. I looked into her eyes and gave her a passionate kiss and when I pulled away she looked at me a little confused but still smiling. "What was that for?" "Do I need permission to kiss my girlfriend now?" I said teasing her. "No! just curious." She laughed "I just am really happy to be back." she gave me a tight hug and dug her head into my shoulder. Then she got up and put her hand out. "Come on Prince Charming, Your chariot awaits." I chuckled. "Ooo I like that nickname, you gonna keep that?" She laughed "Well I thought it fit." "Oh it does!"I said "Don't get too cocky" she said shaking her head, I laughed and grabbed her hand but I didn't let go of it until I had to let her get into the car, but as soon as we did, I grabbed it again.

Ashley's P.O.V.
We made it back and Harry didn't let go of my hand the entire time. We walked inside to see everyone in the living room, probably waiting for us. There heads all whipped toward us and one by one they stood up and came over. "So?" Louis asked. "I'm back." Harry said with a huge smile. They all hugged him and jumped up and down. After celebrating I told Harry to go hang out with the boys for a while because I knew they were so worried about him and I was feeling rather tired so I just went to my room and lied down. Eventually I ended up falling asleep. I was woken up when I felt someone climb into bed with me I turned to my other side to see Harry looking right in my eyes. "how was your night?" I asked him. "Great, I had a lot of fun! I just forgot that I didn't even thank you for today." "Thank me? why would you need to thank me?" "Well, You helped me and whenever someone helps me I like to thank them" Harry said giving me a wink. he rolled out of bed and asked for my hand. I took it as he led me downstairs and onto the deck. I put my hand over my mouth at the sight of a candlelit dinner. To be honest I didn't even know it got dark out. He raised his other hand pointing it toward the table. "M'lady." I sat down in my chair and watched as harry walked over to his. "Harry you didn't have to do this." "I know, but I wanted to." I smiled and so did he. He stood up, walked over knelt in front of me and grabbed my hand. "Ashley ever since I saw you walking outside, alone my life changed. We have been through so many things together and we are still going strong. I love being with you it makes me the happiest man alive and I couldn't think about how different it would be if you weren't here with me. I know you are insecure and you think you aren't good enough for me, but your wrong. If I can't have you I would probably die. You are smart and beautiful, and I want you forever. I love you Ashley. With all my heart." My heart stopped, And I could tell there was a smile growing on my face. I think I even felt a tear fall down my cheek. "I love you too Harry." He smiled, stood up and kissed me. "But I'm not going to lie, I thought you were going to propose for a second." I said giggling. "We will save that for later down the road," he said smiling. He walked over to a radio and turned it on and soft music started playing. "Care to dance?" He asked holding out his hand. "I'd love to." And with that we danced for what felt like the whole night, and I finally felt like I had somewhere to belong, right in Harry's arms.

22. Helping

Ashley's P.O.V
The sunlight streamed through the window and woke me up. I rubbed my eyes and say it was about 8 o'clock. I got out of my bed and went down stairs, Anne was making breakfast, so she didn't notice me slip past and go out the front door. It was kind of cold out but I didn't want to go back inside.Tears slowly fell down my face as I started to think about Harry. "Are you okay?" I jumped so high I thought I was going to go over the house. "Sorry." he said. I noticed it was Harry. "It's okay. I just didn't know you were out here." I said with my hand over my heart and breathing heavy. "Yeah, I was just thinking... about everything. Trying to remember." He looked at his feet and I walked over to him. "Don't push yourself, it will come back." I said trying to comfort him, even though it broke my heart to see him like this. He nodded. "You wanna go out today?" He smiled slightly. "Yeah, sounds fun." I smiled and put my hand on his shoulder. "Okay, why don't we go inside and eat." he chuckled. "Sounds great!" We walked inside and ate breakfast, being joined by the others one by one. I went upstairs after eating to get dressed and when I came back downstairs everyone was laughing and having a good time. When Harry saw me he stood up. "So where are we going??" "That's for me to know and you to find out." I smiled at him. "How about you go get ready and meet me at the car." he nodded and ran upstairs. "Where are you taking him?" Jade asked. "Somewhere which might be able to get him to remember who I am." She smiled. "good luck" "Thanks" I said smiling back and grabbing my keys. I walked out to the car and sat in the drivers seat joined by Harry only minutes later. "So gonna tell me yet?" He said getting in. "Nope not yet." I started the car and backed out of the driveway. It seemed like Harry was acting more like himself maybe today was the day everything would be normal again... I shouldn't get my hopes up. We showed up at a beach and got out of the car. "A beach?" "yup" I said with a smile. "I'm sure I will know why at some point." He said "Yeah I think you will." We walked towards the water and sat down. "So tell me the story of the significance of the beach." Harry said. "Well, I had gotten really mad after seeing you with some girl so I ran away. I went to the airport and flew to America. Little did I know you chased after me. so we stayed in America for a couple of days at my Aunt's beach house, so we spent a lot of time on the beach." I smiled. "God, I wish I could remember that." I looked at Harry and he looked sad. I put my hand on his. "You will" He smiled at me. It was silent for a while and I had just noticed my hand was still on Harry's. Until he moved it away and put both his hands over his eyes. "Are you okay Harry?" He looked up at me and smiled. He grabbed my head and kissed me. When he pulled away he was still smiling. "Do you-" "I remember. Everything." Tears of happiness rolled down my face and I gave Harry a hug. "I'm so happy to have you back." I said into his shoulder. "Happy to be back."

21. Do You Remember?

Ashley's P.O.V.
I had called the boys and they rushed back to the hospital but just a little after they came the doctors had kicked us out to do a few tests. We were all in the waiting room and, well, waiting for the doctor to come back out. "So how do you think we could get his memory back?" Zayn asked. We all shrugged. "Maybe we need to bring him somewhere that he recognizes.. to jog his memory?" Louis suggested. "Should we bring him back home?"I asked. "Well we have postponed the rest of the tour so I don't see the harm in brining him home. I guess as long as the doctor says we can." Liam said. "Has anyone ringed his mum?" Jade asked. "Yeah, I did. She is worried about him.. Maybe we should bring him back to his mum.." We all nodded and agreed that as soon as we could we would fly Harry back home. Just then the doctor came out with Harry following. "Alright well, Harry is doing great other than the whole memory thing. He is allowed to go." Everyone jumped up with excitement and went over to Harry but I went to the doctor first. "Do you think it will be alright if we fly him back home for a while, to try and get his memory back?" "I don't see the problem in that, it will actually be good for him." He gave me a smile and I smiled back. "Thank you. For everything." He gave me a nod then walked off. We checked Harry out of the hospital then went back to the hotel to get ready for our flight. about a few hours later we were on the plane and going home. I was sitting next to Harry, so I thought I would see if I could try and get him to remember something.. "So Harry.. How are you feeling." "Um. I could be better." I looked at him with sad eyes. Jeez this is turning out to be like that movie The Vow. "Do you really not remember... anything?" I asked quietly. "Nothing." I hope we can get his memory back.. and soon. We were silent on the plane since Harry wasn't himself. I was looking forward to seeing Anne again, and I hope she has an idea to get Harry's memory back because I have none. We arrived
back late, everyone wanted to stay with Harry so we all went back to Anne's house. Once we opened the door I instantly saw Anne running over to us and stopping right in front of Harry. "Hi Harry" She said quietly. "Hello.." He said, I could tell Anne was trying to keep back tears. "Do you know who I am?" Harry looked at her for a few seconds. "I'm sorry.. but I don't remember you." Anne looked at the floor, then looked back up at Harry and smiled lightly. "Well I have a room for you to stay in.. why don't you follow me." Anne led Harry up the stairs. "So where are we going tomorrow?" I asked we all looked at each other. "Why don't we just stay here. Have him look at some photographs see if that will do it.." Liam suggested. We all agreed and went to bed. Me and Jade were sharing the room I had stayed in and Liam, Niall, Zayn and Louis where staying in the guest room. I feel asleep quickly as I was hoping tomorrow went well.

Harry's P.O.V.
I woke up in the room that nice lady said was for me last night. I got out of the bed and went downstairs everyone that was at the hospital with me was at the kitchen table. Then the same nice lady walked over to me. "Morning Harry.. How are you feeling?" "I'm alright.." "That's good. I have something to share with you." She led me over to a couch with a big box in front of it. "These are some pictures.. I was thinking you could look through them. I nodded and she watched as I picked up the box and looked through it. Not recognizing anything. I felt bad... these people seem so nice and they are trying hard to help me remember. But I just can't. "bringing anything back?" I shook my head slowly. "I'm sorry.." She looked down. "It's alright. You will remember eventually." She put her hand on my shoulder then walked away. I heard her talking to the people who were sitting at the table but I couldn't make out what she was saying. Soon I was joined by them and the girl who said she was my girlfriend back at the hospital put her hand in front of me. "Come on we want to show you something." She gave me a slight smile and I grabbed her hand as she led me to a car. I was followed by the whole group of people. We drove to some large building and when we went inside there was a stage with a bunch of seats around it. "Harry.. This is where you auditioned for the X- Factor." Louis said to me. "What's X-Factor?" I asked. "It's a singing competition. That's where we were put together as a band, One Direction" When he said that I had a flashback of me and all the other boys singing on a stage. I nodded with a smile. "I remember..." I could feel that everyone around me was smiling. "That's great!" The other girl said. It was weird.. all I could remember was that one thing... I can't remember anything else. I guess I have to give it time.

Episode 3-

The news of Daniel’s scholarship soon spread through the kingdom. He was so happy that at last he made it, although his parents weren’t that rich to cater from him that much. The family members will also come for assistance from his father. He loved his mother and his sister dearly, he hated his father when he turned his mother to a punching bag. The father didn’t remain the same again after the pestle had been hit on his head.

After David, Daniel’s father became conscious that day, he complained about severe headache, Daniel didn’t do as if he heard all his shouts from inside. When it became too much, Gloria begged Daniel to please drop his father off the hospital, at least David had a car that he did push around.

Daniel got up reluctantly and drove him there. He was surprised seeing the guards at the front of the reception door He and his mother helped his father down the car and the nurses came out as usual to help them. He was taken in and admitted, Daniel was sitting at the reception when he saw princess Ruth pondering about. He looked at her with a pitiful face. ‘What could be happening?’ He asked in him.’

The queen rushed out with Ruth running after her, they headed to the palace. Although many in that palace hated the Queen because of her wickedness. She got into the palace and urged the guards and maidens to get someone that can donate the king his or her kidney. They all refused doing this, they remembered one of them that tried it for the king and died the next day. They all thought they would die after donating the kidney.

‘It will be done abroad this time around not in this kingdom.’ She said. The guards and maidens continued murmuring and still refusing on donating a kidney.

Episode-2-

Daniel was hurrying home, he had just gotten his admission letter into a university. He was hurrying home to show his parents that the school princes and princesses and other people would attend is the school he had been given scholarship into.

He got near the house and was hearing shouts from the house. He thought in him ‘this man has started today again, I will deal with him with my happiness.’ He entered into the house because the gate was opened but the sliding door was locked. He was looking at how his mother is being beaten up by his useless father after he had gotten himself drunk in the afternoon.

Daniel hurried back to the backyard, he got a pestle and broke the sliding door in. He ran towards his father that rose his head on hearing a smash at the sliding door. Daniel angrily hit the pestle on him and his father fainted. Daniel’s only sister, Beatrice that is normally called Bibi was just on her way home with her friends from the secondary school.

She got home and met the pandemonium, she was embarrassed in front of her friends and told them to leave for their various houses. David, Daniel’s father was taken inside the room, a lot of water was poured on him and he was exposed to fresh air. Gloria, the mother was still crying profusely. At last he came conscious again, Daniel hissed and left the room. Gloria was still beside him despite the fact she was thoroughly beaten up by him. She loved her husband.

The doctor took her royal highness in to tell her about the critical condition of the King. “He has to be flown abroad for further treatment, he will need a kidney transplant operation that is tight, I guess it should be done abroad, not here for safe job.’ The Doctor said. ‘That’s no big deal, it will be done with immediate effect.’ She replied. ‘But, you’ll need a donor, you highness.’ The doctor said. ‘This is the third time he will be doing this, I will get one sir, at least I can’t donate to him, they aren’t compatible.’ The queen said. ‘Its alright.’ The doctor replied.

20. Hospital

Ashley's P.O.V
The doctor showed me the way to Harry's room. Once he opened the door I ran inside and went right next to Harry's bed and grabbed his hand. The doctor let everyone else in before closing the door. "Why isn't he moving? Why isn't he awake!?" I yelled. "He is in a coma. He hit his head pretty hard when the car hit him." Tears started coming from my eyes again. "When is he going to wake up?" My voice was shaking. "We aren't sure. It could be hours, days, even months until he wakes up." I shook my head and laid my forehead on Harry's motionless hand in mine. I felt a hand land on my back, but I didn't even look back at who is was. "When he does wake up, we are not sure how his memory will be either." My head shot up. "No.." "I'm sorry, but from the looks of the hit, I would be surprised if he remembered everything in his life." I stared at the doctor in disbelief. "I will leave you alone for a few minutes." He said leaving. I stood up, still holding onto Harry's hand and sat in the chair right behind me. "I should go call Paul.." Liam said leaving my side and walking out the door looking at his phone. I sat in that chair all night it felt like. The boys stayed for as long as they could until they got a call saying they had to go try and do their show, or at least a little of it and jade joined. But no matter how hard I tried I couldn't leave that chair. "You know Harry, you would always tell me not to leave you" I looked at him, still. "But I never told you not to leave me. I don't want you to leave, please wake up. I love you more than anything I have ever loved before. You make me feel safe, and whole." I kept staring at him waiting for his eyes to open just like they did early that morning, but nothing. "I can't picture my life without you Harry." He still didn't move and I couldn't help but cry again, crying myself to sleep

~One Month Later~ I still sat in that chair that I had barely moved from for a month. Staring at Harry's motionless body. The door of the room opened and Jade and Niall walked in. "Hi Ashley." Jade said. "Hey." I said quietly. "How is everything?" Niall asked. We had postponed the tour while Harry was in the hospital. "Same as it has been.." I looked back at Harry. "Listen, Ashley, I think you should get out of the hospital.. get some fresh air.." "I'm not leaving unless Harry is by my side." I choked on the lump in my throat as Jade walked over to me. "Ash, I know you want to stay with him but-" "What if I leave and he wakes up? It's my fault he is in here so I'm going to be here for him." I kept looking at Harry but out of the corner of my eye I saw Jade get up and shake her head as she walked back to Niall. "We will come back a little later.." Niall said and I nodded slowly. I took Harry's hand and rubbed it with my thumb. Just then I heard a moan come from Harry. I let go of his hand and went out into the hall. "Doctor! I think Harry might be waking up!" the doctor ran towards the door and when he came in and I looked at Harry his eyes were wide open and looking around the room. "Harry, How are you doing?" The doctor asked both of us slowly walking towards him. "W-Where am I?" oh know. don't tell me he lost his memory. "You got hit by a car just over a month ago. You have been in a coma ever since." "Oh..." He said rubbing his head. "So you are my doctor?" "Yes I am." "Then who is she?" He pointed at me. Tears fell from my eyes. "Harry I'm your girlfriend don't you remember me?" I said moving next to him. he looked at me for a few seconds then shook his head. I started crying even harder. "Ashley, may I talk with you in the hall?" I nodded and followed him to the hallway. "I think it would be best for him to go out and do some things with him, try and jog his memory." "I can do that." I said quietly. "Great, we will let him out tonight." We walked back into the room and went to either side of his bed. "Harry can you tell me what the last thing you remember is?" I looked at Harry and he had a confused look on his face then shook his head. "I can't remember a thing."

19. The Accident

Ashley's P.O.V.
I woke up in Harry's arms, and I felt safe. Like nothing could ever go wrong. I looked at Harry sleeping peacefully, I leaned closer to him and kissed his cheek. I watched as his eyes slowly fluttered open. "Morning beautiful." He said with a smile. "Morning" Harry gave me a quick peck on the lips. "What are the plans for today?" "Well, I was thinking of just staying right here with you all day." My eyebrows raised. "Don't you think we should go like, sightseeing or something?" I said with a laugh. "I don't need to go sightseeing when I can look at you all day" I gave him a little shove and got off the bed. "You're so cheesy." I said grabbing some clothes out of my suitcase and headed towards the bathroom but Harry hopped up and walked in front of me. "you love it!" "Yeah, maybe a little." I giggled and kissed his cheek again. "I'm going to get dressed, can we go get some ice cream or something?" I gave him the puppy dog face and he smiled. "Yes, of course we can!" I jumped once and ran into the bathroom to change. Once I came out and Harry wasn't there, he must have gone to get dressed. I went over to my dresser and grabbed my shoes when I looked over to the other bed and noticed Jade wasn't there. I put my shoes on and went out to the hallway and knocked on Harry's door and he answered. "I was just going to come over to see if you were ready." He said with a smile and came out while closing the door behind him. "Do you know where Jade is?" I asked. "Um, I think Louis mentioned that she was staying in Niall's room." "Ohh" I said slowly. We walked down to the lobby and went outside. We walked down the street and saw a ice cream place across the road. We started making our way to the ice cream place, it looked busy, but we got interrupted by a bunch of Harry's fans. we were mobbed. "Hey, I'm going to go get us a table." I whispered to him and he gave me a quick kiss before I pushed through the fans and over to the crosswalk. The sign turned to walk and surprisingly I was the only one crossing. I was almost all the way across when I turned and saw a car zooming through the red light and was about to hit me. I literally froze and couldn't move at all. Then I suddenly felt someone push me and I landed on the side walk. I turned and saw Harry lying on the sidewalk. Oh my god. "Harry!?" I ran over next to him. "Harry??" The tears started rolling down my face like a waterfall. I collapsed on his chest. "Please be okay. Harry don't leave me." I saw out of the corner of my eye the blurred light from the ambulance. I couldn't take my eyes off Harry, lying on the cold pavement. and before I knew it the ambulance took him away from me. Leaving me alone, in the street. watching Harry get driven off. I ran back to the hotel and got everybody and Louis drove us to the hospital. I ran inside and up to the front desk. "What room is Harry Styles in?" I asked frantically as the woman at the desk typed a few things into her computer. "I'm sorry, he can't have any visitors right now. you will have to wait." "How long?!" "I don't know, why don't you have a seat in the waiting room" She pointed in the direction of the waiting room and I slumped over and sat down, still crying. Liam came over and sat next to me, he pulled me into the hug. "It's all my fault" I said quietly. "Ashley, It is not your fault." "If I wasn't so stupid and just moved out of the way." "Don't stress about every detail Ashley." Jade said sitting on the other side of me. I sat in Liam's arms for what felt like hours. until the doctor came out. "Are you here for Harry?" I shot up. "Yeah, is he okay?" "Come with me."

Episode 1-
It was as usual, the king was rushed into the car. The driver was already panicking, he was at alert to rush down to the hospital. The gate was quickly opened by the gate keeper the driver rushed out, the queen was sitting beside the king at the back seat. She was breathing out fast. Ruth had already ordered the second driver to drive her to the hospital also.
They got to the hospital, the nurses rushed out to aid in bringing him in as usual. They’d seen him inside before he was brought out. He was carried into the private ward that had been provided for him and his only daughter Ruth. The doctors that normally attend to him got the information about his arrival and got to work.
It was serious.
The drivers and guards were standing outside the hospital to guard, the Queen was sitting by the reception at the front of the private ward with her daughter. Ruth was weeping, it was normal of her because both of them are normally the victims. She was not herself, as she was standing, she would sit again, she was not in the mood to pick any call and neglected all her friend’s calls.
The nurses were coming in and out of the ward with trays and different things on them. They were also running up and down taking care of the King of that Kingdom. The doctors who knew and don’t even know about the illness were also there taking good care of him. The overall doctor came out sweating profusely. Queen and her daughter rushed up to him. “How is my father?” Ruth quickly asked. ‘What of the king!’ The queen shouted out. The doctor was sweating and looking at both of them. He was looking tired within. He didn’t say anything to them, he rose hid index finger up, ‘Let me see you in my office’ he said and headed there. ‘Can’t you tell me here!’ The Queen shouted. “Office, my queen.’ He replied. The queen wondered and hurried after him. ……..

18. Concert

Harry's P.O.V.
Tonight was the night of the first show and I was excited to get back on stage. Once I was done getting ready, I went to Jade and Ashley's dressing room. Ashley was sitting on her couch and looked really nervous so I went and sat down next to her. "You will be great. Trust me." She nodded and gave me a hug I gave her a quick kiss on the lips. "Remember how you sang in front of all those people on Ellen yesterday?" She nodded. "That was luck." I took her hand. "Ashley you are an amazing singer just think about something that makes you less nervous." She nodded when the stage manager opened the door to the room . "Ashley, Jade, You are on in 5." He said then quickly closed the door. I gave Ashley a kiss on the cheek and walked her to the side of the stage. "Harry.. I can-" "You will be amazing, trust me." Just then they were told to go out on stage and there was a scream from the crowd. I stood on the side of the stage nervously watching her, but she did great. Just like I said she would. When they were done they ran off stage with the biggest smiles on their faces and Ashley jumped straight into my arms. "You were amazing!" I said as we pulled out of the huge. "I can not believe I just did that." "I can." I gave her a smile and we walked back to the others where Ashley was greeted with hugs and congratulations from everyone. I was so proud of her, and I could tell she was proud of herself too. She overcame her fear, which is great. Me and the boys got pulled away soon after to go on stage. We had a great show, the crowd was unbelievable and the energy was so high. We had finished our encore and ran backstage, energy still running high. We were all high fiving each other and when I saw Ashley I just picked her up and spun her around. "Harry what are you doing?" She laughed and I put her down. "I'm just happy!" I laughed and she nodded. "Well I'm glad!" "Hey why don't we go out?" Niall suggested "Yeah! Lets do it!" Zayn added we all went to get changed. We all hopped in the van and drove off to get dinner. "I'll be right back." Ashley whispered to me as she was getting up, probably heading to the bathroom. I took a little while before she came back, but when she did she looked upset. "Everything okay?" "Yeah everything will be fine." I knew something was wrong but I'm not going to push her to tell me, not yet.

Ashley's P.O.V.
We got back to the hotel and I went straight to my room and sat on my bed. I was quickly followed by Jade. "Ashley is everything okay? You look a little off." Jade asked sitting next to me. "I'll be fine." I mumbled. "Ashley, please tell me what is wrong." I sighed and looked at her. "When I went to the bathroom at the restaurant these two girls came up to me and told me off." "What?" "They told me that Harry deserves better than me and I'm and ugly bitch." "They said that too you?" A tear went down my face and I nodded. "I'm telling Harry." Jade got up quickly but I grabbed her hand. "Please don't! It isn't that big a deal!" "If it isn't that big a deal, why are you crying?" I shook my head. "I believed them..." I mumbled so hopefully she didn't hear, but she did. She ran out of the room and a minute or so later Harry came in and stopped when he saw me crying on the bed. "Ashley, I-" He walked towards the bed and sat on it. "Don't worry I'll be fine." He grabbed my hand. "If anyone says that to you again, tell me? Please?" I nodded and he pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead. "And just so you know, I don't deserve better than you, no one is better than you."

17. Ellen Degeneres

Ashley's P.O.V.
waking up in Harry's arms made me feel like I was loved. Harry in general made me feel like I was loved, which I don't really get a lot. I looked at him, he was still sleeping peacefully. I turned to look at the clock and it was almost 10 in the morning. I saw that Jade was no longer in her bed too. I turned back to Harry and ruffled his hair. "Harry, Wake up" He groaned. "Harry... We need to get up" He slowly opened his eyes. "Can't we just stay here all day." He mumbled. "I'm afraid we can't." I pulled myself out of his arms, even though I didn't want to, and stood next to the bed. He just looked at me. "Come on." I held my hand out to him and helped him up. We got dressed and went down to the lobby to see Jade and the other boys eating breakfast. "Look who decided to show up!" Zayn said. I laughed. "Sorry, His fault." I pointed back to Harry who was yawning and rubbing his eyes. "Where were you last night? I woke up and you weren't in your bed." Louis asked as we sat down at their table. "I couldn't sleep so I took a walk with Ashley and when we got back, I remembered that I had forgotten my key." "Nice one Harry!" Niall said, everyone laughed. "Yeah, he just stayed in mine and Jade's room last night." I added and everyone nodded like they already knew. "So whats the plan for today?" Harry asked. "Well, we are going to rehearse for the show for most of the day and I know that the girls have and interview afterwards, not sure about us though." I nodded and stole Jade's orange juice to take a sip, she didn't even say anything. "We should probably get going." We got up from the table and went outside to find a van waiting for us, we piled in and went to the arena. When I walked inside I literally stopped, it was huge. Everyone kept walking because they didn't notice I had stopped. Well, everyone except for Harry. "All these seats are going to be filled?" I asked, hesitating a little. "Yup" Harry said smiling at me. "I can't breathe." "Ashley you will be great just try not to think about it." I nodded. And slowly started to walk again. Me and Jade are rehearsing a few of our songs first. Then the boys will come up and do all of their songs. Their management, which I'm guessing was ours for the time being, walked up to us. "Alright, you girls are going to have an interview after you are done rehearsing so lets get a move on shall we." They quickly walked away before we could even say anything, me and Jade just looked at each other and tried not to laugh. We went up in stage and it went over really well. Everyone said we did a great job but that was when the seats were empty, what will happen to me when they are full? Management pulled me and Jade away to the car which made me loose my train of thought. "It should be a short interview so we will see you back here soon" He said closing the door. We were on our way to the interview, I had no idea where we were going until I got a text from Harry. 'just heard you were sent off to an interview' 'yeah I'm a little nervous, not gonna lie.' 'you will do great, oh and you might want to prepare yourself for the questions about.. us.' 'yeah. I'll be prepared.. Hopefully.' 'alright, love you' 'love you too' I looked up from my phone to see we had pulled into a parking lot and the driver was waiting for us to get out. So me and Jade awkwardly got out of the car and went into the studio to be greeted by an overly peppy worker. "Hello girls! We have been expecting you!! Come, follow me." She started walking so we did as she said. As we were walking I saw a bunch of posters around. "Um, Jade?" "Yeah?" "Do you realize where we are?" She looked at me confused. "We are on the Ellen show." Her eyes widened and she started looking around and her jaw dropped. "Oh. My. God." We started fangirling a little until the preppy woman told us to sit down for a moment and walked away, she quickly returned led by Ellen Degeneres. "Hello girls!" Ellen said, We got up off the couch and both gave her a hug, a little shocked. "We are happy to have you on the show today!" "We are happy to be here!" I said smiling. "I'm glad! So here is the plan, you guys are going to be on later in the show, we will have a short interview then you will perform for us?" "Sounds great!" Jade said then Ellen said her goodbyes and walked away. I made sure she was out of sight before I started talking. "Did she say perform? Holy crap I think I am going to throw up." I held my stomach. "Ashley, breath it will all be okay." I nodded then my phone buzzed. It was Harry. 'Taking a break so I'll be able to watch you on Ellen!' Why did that make me more nervous? I have sung in front of Harry before so I have no idea why that made me have more nerves, but now I'm shaking. But before we knew it me and Jade were walking out onto the Ellen stage. We got to the Couch, hugged Ellen once again then sat down. "Hello girls!" She said. "Hello!" "How are you?" "We are doing great!" Jade said. "Yeah we are very excited to be here" I added surprisingly. "I'm excited to have you here! Why don't we start talking about you guys and One Direction." Me and Jade nodded when there was a little scream from the crowd when they were mentioned, It made me laugh "So you guys are opening up for them on their tour?" "Yeah, this is our first time doing anything like this so we are really excited!" Jade said. "Really? It must be a great feeling that the first time you are going on tour it is going to be with the biggest boyband in the world." We giggled. "yeah it is a pretty great feeling." I said. "Now I have one more question then I will let you perform. Ashley this one is for you." I know where this is headed. "You and Harry seem pretty close." A picture of me and him kissing appeared on the large screen and I laughed and covered my face a little. "Um. Yeah we are pretty close." I said with a laugh, the audience seemed to enjoy that one too. "That's really great! Now don't start telling me your just friends or he is like your brother like other people do." Everyone laughed, including her. "Well, enough of that lets hear you perform!" There was a cheer from the crowd as we walked over into places and sang a song that we wrote together. Once we were done there was a scream from the crowd and the show was over. We talked to Ellen for a couple more minutes then left to go back to the arena. When we got there everyone was waiting for us and they were clapping when we walked in. Me and Jade looked at each other with confused looks on our faces. Harry walked up to me. "Congrats on your first performance in front of more than one person." I laughed because I had completely forgotten that there was a lot of people watching. "Oh my god!" I said realizing what I just did. I gave Harry a huge hug and didn't let go until I had to.
