If every other documents are written in English you are good to go. So you are coming to Nairobi to do your medicals as well i hope you know people here or you can make your ways to the medical center and embassy. The reason i asked your home town is because if you were in Mogadisho then you could easily locate UN agencies there and get to Nairobi by flight. Anyway i can see you have all the required documents so dont worry but remember to translate them you see mohammed was put on Administrative processing because they didnt understand his document and this is the worst you can be put on coz you dont know when they will work on your papers. Also carry evidence of work experience a letter of appointment or any letter from your employer as well.

Ayeeee, where in Somalia are you? I will advice you to come thru Kampala then get a bus to my country Nairobi. Please read the instructions very well because everyone was sent the instructions the first time you realised that you were selected. make sure all your documents have been translated to English otherwise they will put you on AP just like another Somalia guy told us here. I am not going to tell you other documents because i want you to read the whole Selectee Notification and Next Steps http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/visa_4756.html for your self unless there is something you dont understand then i will be glad to help you. I am here in Kenya and will help you where i can.

TRANSLATIONS: All documents prepared for submission, which are not in English, must be accompanied by notary-certified English translations. Translations of all court decisions into English are mandatory if the originals are in any other language.

I left the house by 5am and on descending from 3rd mainland bridge towards Onikan(around 5:40am), my car suddenly stopped accelerating, I tried all possible but to no avail as the gear was no longer selecting though engine was on & working fine, I & my wife had to push it under the bridge towards the Officers mess before the Lagos Island- VI bridge(b4 Bonny camp). we spoke to the officer guarding the park by the lagoon and he agreed we park there while we get a mechanic to come fix the car, time then was 6:05am. We kept our phones, took our documents from the car and headed for the embassy on foot as it was nearby, got to the embassy by 6:25am and people were already there waiting for the officials to arrive. they finally arrived around 7am and We observed all the necessary protocols, checks and got ushered in; coincidentally I picked the same No I picked last week thursday. I noticed that The hall was filled that people also had to stand, then our name was called to confirm that we were around (as we had previously made payments & submitted all necessary documents last week) , after which we waited for the interview to start proper.
At exactly 8:45am my number was called at window 14, our finger prints were taken and oath administered. Thereafter, our interview went thus:
CO: good morning
We: good morning sir
CO: Do you swear to say nothing but the truth?
We: yes I do
CO: what's your highest level of Education?
Me: blah blah blah..
CO: What do you do now?
Wife: blah blah blah...
CO: Where did u have your NYSC?
Wife: blah blah blah
CO picks papers & circle address & says "Congratulations, pick up your visa at circled address in a week's time and make sure you pay USCIS money online b4 leaving for US, Enjoy your stay in USA".

Imagine, interview took less than 5mins and No questions on O' levels, marriage, job description & also pictures(family) were not checked etc.... God you are too much.
I prophesy into someone's life.... God that did my own, will surely do your's too.

When i sent our forms to KCC i made my US Visa using photoshop i replaced this photo with the one i sent to KCC and put my information in it. Then i used this as my phone screen saver, so everytime i saw it even before i went to bed I could look at it and say "Thank you God for this wonderful Visa". Always thank God in advance and believe you have it. Anything you want to achieve make photos of it stick it in your bedroom atleast this is where nobody visits apart from you, if you visualize something, it will eventually come true.

In Kenya the spouse to the principal applicant only gives a copy of her police and birth certificate, international passport and 2 passport photos. The kids if below 18 only birth certificate, international passport and 2 passport photos.

If any of the documents you presented back then were actually detected to be fake or has anything to do with the Visa lottery information's you filled to KCC, be prepared to answer questions but if they are not, GOOD FOR YOU.

Fundamentally If your birth date and age changes,education certificates and dates changes, names on your passport changes........I am sorry, its an issue but the extent i can not say.

Be prepared to answer sincerely to the questions as any attempt to cover them up will not be funny.

That they keep your information's is never in doubt and that they will cross check is very certain but i want to believe DV lottery takes precedence if you are able to explain clearly when ask and hope that does not give a lead on some of your new information's you filled now.

I also appeared at the embassy 2 years ago for student visa with genuine documents but was denied, now my visa was granted through DV LOTTERY and information's cross checked during my interview ( Waiting to travel now )

You mean they do ring prints on your fingers in Nigeria or you have them on your fingers My dear it wont change anything if you remove them for just a while but again you can put them on the CO might not even notice them. I wish you a very smooth interview when your day approaches.

I guess what he meant is that he finished (passed out) secondary school in 2007 without writing WAEC but rather sat for NECO, which was free then.
My advise is that he should first collect his testimonial from his secondary school and go with the NECO result to the embassy. He should be fine that way.

During my own time when i passed out 2007 i'm unable to write waec becuase of finacial breakdown. But Neco is free, i decided to write a neco and have 5 credits. First question; can i go to the embassy with neco result printout with unscratched card. Moreso, i'm currently working in one pure water factory, lag after i passed out. Second question, why type of question can the CO asked base on Job zone pls?

pls check ur visa and see if the alien number is the same as the registration number on the visa.

Yes even here the case numbers are written like that they add 01, 02, 03 to it and it becomes IV Case Number. About the Case ID please write your case number as it was when you were selected. (I dont think whether there will be a problem if you write the IV Case Number but as the form suggests it says Case ID. Let me check on my envelope and visa so that i can tell you where else the Alien number is written ........................... aaaha on your visa right below the IV Case Number there is the Registration Number which is the same as the Alien Number on my sealed envelope so please use it because i have checked mine, hubby's and dotas they all conquer. So members note that the Registration Number on your visa is the Alien Number you will enter in your USCIS Fee Payment.

Oh yes, you are right about this coz someone will just imagine that the information must be inside not knowing it is on the immigration summary sheet that is attached to the sealed envelope. Please people read every thing you receive because this information i saw it at the Consulate office before we got out and also the same number is written on the white peace of paper you are given after the visa is approved, if at all you got one together with the green one.
