nedekid:That's what I'm scared of. They might use this as an excuse to enforce more ban, just like they did with crypto and nin. It's really double standard because there is no law in the constitution that supports the twitter ban (Or maybe i dont know). 1 Like |

DONFASZY:You're very funny. Well I actually called you a fool first, but it wasn't meant to be an insult. You called Buhari a fool for banning twitter, so I said that no reasonable government would tolerate a foreign power (Twitter in this case as a western media power) imposing it's rules in it's country. So I meant that you might actually be the fool (wasn't supposed to be an insult). But you took it that way. I would have apologised, but reading this your funny comment has actually reinforced the belief in me that you're more foolish than I imagined. 1 Like |

DONFASZY:You just proved that you are uncivilised. People like you are the problem of this country. They don't read good books, follow international news, and can't have a civil conversation because they have nothing reasonable to offer so they start dishing insult to suit their fragile ego. |

nedekid:Do you know that Social media can be used to start a revolution against a government. I don't support Buhari or his government, but no reasonable government would tolerate this. Twitter has power and power must be controlled and regulated, else it'll get out of hand |

wacuc0:Government is blaming the citizens for being lazy, and citizens are blaming the government for being corrupt and being sellouts. Lecturers blame students for being lazy and wayward, Students blame lecturers for being too proud and arrogant. Everybody is blaming everybody. No one wants to take responsibility for their actions. Nigeria has strong cultural issues |

amrichy:Don't mind him. If twitter have the right to delete the post of a president, then he also has the right to ban it. I don't support Buhari, but these media companies are playing god. If twitter was allowed in China, would they ban the post of any CCP leader. |

DONFASZY:Sorry, but you're the fool here. You don't understand global politics. The countries you mentioned all support him secretely, because he serves their interest. No one is coming to your aid. |

Rocktation:I thought the movie was about independence, but it was about serial killing. It was nice though, but slow paced I wasn't interested in downloading it because of the 300mb size. But the movie was really clear despite its size. The movie is 10 based on Nollywood standard, but I'll give it 8. Camera is superb. Video quality - 10 Acting - 9 Visuals effects - 7 Costume - 10 Sound - 4 That detective is really clueless, that's why they gave him the case. He would have been a farmer instead. I knew it was the prince from the beginning. |

TemmyT002:I don't agree with this. Everyone thought feminism was taking over, until redpill guys squashed it. Parents in western countries are getting aware of this this. They no longer allow their children watch liberal Hollywood shows and online lectures is taking over, so no more worries about indoctrination. Unfortunately third world countries like Nigeria will suffer because of piracy. Parents think there doing their kids a favour by giving them smartphones |

sanpipita: The world didn't realize slavery was wrong. Slavery was banned because it prevented the west from industrializing. People were comfortable having slaves, they didn't want to buy machines to do their work because they had slaves to do it for free. So if people don't want to buy machines and electronics, how will they industrialize. Secondly they didn't want slaves to operate those machines because it will give them the technical knowledge to defeat the west. So they had to force their own citizens to work. Thirdly it was better to have African in Africa doing the work (like mining) and supplying raw materials to the west, that was what resulted in colonisation. They wanted enough raw materials for free. So slavery never really ended. After the end of slavery, then groups like KKK were formed and lynching of blacks in America started. The notion that the west banned slavery because it was wrong, was history written to glorify the west. |
