I have a friend who lives in California and is Us citizen as well recently she invited me on a sponsorship business visa to come work for her in the Us when I wanna buy the visa from Gtbank I bought the wrong one which is B1/B2 so she decided to change the letter to tourist letter staying she's gonna take care of everything concerning the trip both feeding and accommodation and she also notarized the letter to make it more solid as well meanwhile I have completed the Ds 160 form and print it out as well so I'm waiting for an appointment because according to the person helping me there's no closer date for now except until 2022 but he assured me he will get a date before August because the letter will expire in July
I have a virgin passport and no travel experience either but I have a business of my own in Nigeria and is registered as well pls what are my chances of the visa
The person inviting me is ready to do anything because she keeps on saying she can't wait to see me pls what are my chances or if there's any other thing I need to do to back it up you can tell me too

You want certify or Authenticate? How do they expect you to certify your documents when you are not there? If you are talking about certifying a Nigerian document, you are already in Nigeria for you to do that, if this Document is a South African document, there are online notaries that can certify that document for a fee, you just have to confirm if you are allowed to use online notary

they said that there must a signature and stamp from Nigeria high commission in south africa confirming the signature and stamp of ministry of foreign affairs abuja before they can accept any documents from Nigeria.

Sorry about the denial bro. However, getting a US Visa is not entirely dependent on the stacks of documents owned. Nigerians are known to produce any document at will when we believe it might help our cause.
By default, the officers interviewing you believe you an panning to immigrate until you prove otherwise. Have an open mind when going for their interview and see it as 50-50. Also make sure everything you say is the truth. Good luck on your next try.

yes you are very correct.
det done look at any documents.

You were probably perceived as an economic migrant, and was trying to use your 'uncle's wife' as a cover.
They interviewed you only because of these concerns, which they didn't have with her.

well.I think we all assumption here.

because I have every prove to them that I have a stable job here and I'm sponsoring my trip.

I don't really know they disqualified people under section 214 and technicalities use by them to disqualify.

they can decide in their own not to give.

It depends on what you are going there to do. Holiday or business?

just vacation of 2weeks
the last time I visited the embassy was 2017.

I filled my uncle's wife's application along with mine. they approved her and denied me.
though I was the one that answers all the questions.

Your travel history is very important.
You need to convince them that the job you are doing is very lucrative . Also the position you occupy is highly paying and you love your job.

And let them know you cant afford to be out of work for more than three weeks.

so in feeling the application form.
I should not excise 2 weeks of staying.

The answer you gave to the question is too vague in my opinion. Why not tell them what business you specialize in. Say something like, I am a businessman and my company specializes in car sales or something like that

thank my dear

The embassy probably (90%) won't make a decision with the surname as a yardstick.
You stand there at the interview as you alone, backed by the info on your DS160.

The only thing the US Friend can do is to provide you a destination address and will be responsible for your upkeep and spend for the duration of your stay. (This will lead to further questions like how long, what will you be doing, will you come back when you are done, what's the proof you are coming back, what happens to your work/school while away)...

An invitation letter also good, but not important.
Thank you so much

Seriously, it's not a wise decision.

Have you considered Senegal or other nearby countries? They're a lot better for small businessmen.

Also, there's decent (west) Euro countries where you can study free. Have you explored that?

There's also (west) Euro countries where tuition is very low, and being a small businessman or doing modest jobs can work for you.

like which Euro country bro.
I was like going Gambia but change mind for Botswana as they have visa free to most Europe.
