malc619: The foolish Prof blames Islam for the backwardness of the North, then I wonder if he'll blame Christianity for the under-development and large scale poverty and illiteracy in Bayelsa state...
I can't see where the prof blamed islam unless if am not getting his writing very well. He is talking about individuals with good brains and adherents of their religion and 100 percent profess it yet, are not merging religion with modernisation. Christian or muslim this is applicable to all!!!
See how you are insulting a gentleman for airing his Views! When will you want truth be told then?

Dear Kabarka,
Thank you so much for the ebook sent, have gone through it and do appreciate the wealth of knowledge poured into it. I will advise those visiting this site to PLEASE get a copy in your library and also do make a very good use of it. I wish you a fruitful 2014 as we look into it with much certainty and assurance.

Kabarka, in your write up you did mention one of the challenges manufacturers face is that of taste and odour, is there by chance a way you can deal with this topic and probably expanciate on it?
Questions like
1. What is responsible for the taste and odor
2. How can it be managed with minimal cost?
3. What possible materials could first be used before delving further.
4. Some possible contacts to get the true price of items before being run down by some of the so call water treatment experts
5. Can the treatment process be taught to the manager?
I look forward to hearing from you
Do have a wonderful new year
Love always

Business / Re: Pure Water Biz(Discuss) by stegra: 10:54am On Oct 21, 2013
Nduwin,
I still await your call.
Kabarka, Could i have asked a silly question?/ you are not responding or should i rephrase it?
Business / Re: Pure Water Biz(Discuss) by stegra: 9:56pm On Oct 10, 2013
Kabarka,
Hmmmnnn This response has gotten me so excited that i feel like jumping off the roof.
i also marvel at my ignorance all the same.
I did extend my cry to a manufacturer of polymer who also visited our plant and also offered his candid advise.
this were his recommendation
1. place order for polymer above 1 tonne which gives room for discount and credit facility
2. understand our production cost and cost of sale to give us a true picture of the cost of sachet water
3. insist in selling water for 70 at retail and minimum of 65 for people buying above 55 bags
4. insist on the contact for account customers and also ask them to call direct which agrees with your recommendation
5. learn how to properly cost our sachet to give me a reason for being factual with my price increase.
6. interestingly he called most of the drivers in Abuja "KILLERS!!!! " as they go about from one company to the other ruing business and causing enmity with producers since they portray their former place of employ as bad people.

Nduwin how do we get to see? 08066051868

I will make all effort to get the copy of your popular write up to digest it during the sallah break

By God, is there anyway you can do me a sample of how pure water costing is arrived at please?

thank you

Dear Kabarka,
I thank you for the attention and concern you have for table water producers and truly humbled by your selfless act.
I wasnt Long that we commence productionhere in Abuja and we are exploring every avenue to break even.
1. We cannot belittle ourselves for we know our water is of good quality
2 We are sure time will vindicate us
3. I am having a hard timeinvestigating the true cost of a a bag of water here in Abuja

Now is there a way those in Abuja can respond to this?
I am not comfortable my drivers ding account for
55/3000
110/5000
and retailed at 60 or 70
what should i pls do kabarka?

Kabarka,
Thank you so much once again for the quick response.
With regards to the drivers, How can one check on their use of fuel?
We have tried to map out their route and also advise them to stick to it, yet you hear them winning that they need to explore more areas as such we grant them leverage.
I am thinking of of how to implore the judicious use of fuel by the drivers and is coming up with this method
A. I give them 2500/day for the sale of 400bags
B. I give them 2000/day for the sale of 300bags
C. I fill the bus with fuel and monitor them for a week to see its consumption
Business / Re: Pure Water Biz(Discuss) by stegra: 1:50pm On Sep 14, 2013
Kabarka,
Thank you for the prompt response.
We have Begun testing the market as per sales and this is what my drivers are saying the buyers are insisting
1. for a bunch of 55 bags they sell at N3000
2. for a bunch of 110 bags they sell for N5000
3. Any other retail price they sell for N70 per bag.
Now what i find intriguing or concerned is that i have not come across any company that sales water in Abuja as at now for N100 maybe during the hot season which is yet to commence.
do note that i did tried to interview as many drivers as i can for some clarity and they seem to agree for the same price.
4. there were only two clients of ours that i called after to verify how much our drivers sold water to them that did tell me 55/3500 and 110/7000.

Now my mentor,
where did the 100/per bag come from
should drivers who can deliver this price be sought? cos i cant get one for now
they are complaining of fuel shortage at all times
we have two Ford Transporter running on petrol will it pose a problem in this business here in Abuja?
5. for a company with 2 machine can we say recruiting 14 staff is a bad omen
a. operator
b. 8 bagging
c. 1 cleaner
d. 2 drivers
e. 2 motor boys

kindly advise as i need it desperately
Business / Re: Pure Water Biz(Discuss) by stegra: 2:43pm On Sep 06, 2013
Kabarka,
Goodness me!! see how much i have missed and have been operating in complete ignorance with regard to how one can EFFECTIVELY STRATEGISE to CREATE A NICHE in the market. Here in Abuja where our factory is based i can now say there are over 15 companys i have counted and interestingly some are even coming aroung to see this new would be producers.
By God i will need a way to go in and with your piece hard work and committment i will say we are good to go.
Let me ask the following
1. should drivers be on contract or permanent basis
2. kindly proffer the kind of gift items that are economically friendly and customer friendly (stevuchu@gmail.com)
3. must one comply to ATWAPS Price regulations and what are its advantages?

Hey Guys,
Is so amazing that we do have a group of unselfish nigerians and am thrilled by that fact. I also do belive that my cry will be solved on this forum. Permit me to say that i have been a keen person in wanting to understand how forex trading is done with little of no success. i must say that i have some of the best books written on forex with me but will say that it is just a picture, picture, picture.
i shall appreciate this forum if this desire to learn trading materialises, considering the fact that someone is willing to give it out for free.
well i will suggest the following.
1. a selected group of persons choosen and given a trading name with suffixes 1-20
2. we start at a particular time and trade simultanouesly for now until perfection.
3. we share our experiences and journals to encourange ourselves
4. we then tell the worl this forex thing works and rocks and you can trust us lead you to the promise land!!
I pray and hope am even making sense and hope my excitement is not making me "KOLO" grin grin
