If you did NYSC, please use that to add up to 3 years. It doesn't matter what you did. You need a reference letter for jobs you are claiming points for. Remember, to claim points, one of your jobs should be continuous for one year. The rest can be varying durations. For example: Job 1 - at least One year (primary) Job 2- 4 months Job 3 - 9 months etc The primary NOC doesn't have to be the most recent. Someone I know used a job she did whilst studying as her primary NOC. This job was done about 4 or 5 years prior to her EE application. When you have the time, click on my name and go through my previous posts. You'd see information that I feel would be helpful in this journey. Good luck! This journey is worth it! PS: if things get too complicated, send me a message and I'd see if I can help. suogal: 3 Likes 2 Shares |

if you're single then your score should be around 468. Carefully go through everything again and see where the error is. You might have put 2 years work experience instead of 3. when I changed it to two years in the CRS tool, I got 443 suogal: 1 Like |

@Danbam I think it would be great if you edit/delete this comment before other see it and follow your "advice" @arcfresky, I don't know how important this journey is to you, but it would be beneficial to get into the habit of researching so you don't get misled by anyone on here including myself. I have answered this exact question numerous times on this forum and many are in canada. If you need further confirmation, please tweet IRCC/CIC on twitter and they would respond to you. I wish you all the best in this journey. TO ANYONE READING THIS. If you are unmarried and get married POST AOR and then add your spouse, your scores WILL NOT BE RECALCULATED. You will need an updated POF, medicals etc.. The scores would NOT be affected. Good luck everyone! Danbam: 4 Likes 1 Share |

1. You can get a same name/person affidavit 2. This can easily be done in the UK. A quick google search shows it's quite "inexpensive" too Daboll: |

If you get married and add a spouse Post AOR, your scores would not be recalculated. Since your score would be unaffected, I would suggest adding the spouse as accompanying. ArcFresky: |

IRCC isn't concerned with how much you get paid. What they care about is that you do get paid, no matter how "small" it is wale200: |

If you were paid for the job and if the job was in a qualifying NOC - You can count it as part of your 3 years experience. Has to be NOC A, B, 0. Click here to search the NOC list. ps: Plumbing is NOC B and can be used. Danny6552: |

I'm sorry but this is impossible to answer. Your best bet is to call and get an agent to give you an update on your application if possible. You can also use one of those immigration tracking softwares to see how others with your AOR are faring, that'd give you an idea. hairbyuj: |

Would you be exporting your vehicle? If so I can send you a link with things to do before crossing the border. If you're driving a rental, there's nothing much to know, it'd be the same process as coming in through the airport except you'd have to exit the car and go into the building for processing. wizzzz: 1 Like |

1. BSC + OND = 2 or more certificates. You have to evaluate both, CIC goes by what your evaluation says. 2. Studying French is an excellent idea. If you can find an instructor that specializes in preparing for TEF exams that would great. 3. Only one year needs to be continuous, which you already have covered. Many have misunderstood the 6 months statement thing. CIC is only asking that the POF letter include last 6 months average balance. It never said you should keep money in your account for 6 months. Please see attached. Jacknn:

You are spot on! I used my experience during school and I have PPR. Countless others have done this too. You are also spot on in regards to the One year continuous experience. Anything after that can added up to make 3 years. Even if you have to add several one month experiences. Keep up the good work Mmamaroon. You've done amazingly well. Mmamaroon: 5 Likes 1 Share |

Withdraw profile? Why is that? If we could kindly refrain from giving "advice" on matters we are unsure of, it would help us in the long run. These are people's lives here. Especially with how unpredictable things have been. @ Grreenk, Please do exactly as Ednut1 and Dimple10 have said. You have absolutely nothing to worry about. elohim24: Elohim24, please forgive me if this sounds harsh in anyway, that is not my intention, I've just seen enough people give up or go the wrong route after getting the "wrong advice". 3 Likes |

You shouldn't be worried. If you still are, you could write a letter of explanation but just go straight to the point, don't waffle so you don't say something that would be cause for concern. LuckBrother: |

To claim work experience points, the job has to meet these qualifications. Your skilled work experience must be: NOC A, B, 0 Must be Paid (No Volunteer work, you can use paid internships that isn't a course/program requirement) Full time or Part time If what you did met these qualifications, you can use it, if not, you'd have to find something else to replace it as long as it is a relevant NOC and paid. It is a good practice to refer to IRCC/CIC website for information that isn't subject to interpretation. Read more here francophone134: |

horlorbah: Page One should have a cash certificate template you can use. Your method of payment isn't the issue, the concern is the 2019-2020 experience, I am not sure how it counts as one year given that 2020 hasn't ended. The Express entry software might automatically count it as one year but when an agent reviews it, he/she would see that you haven't spent 12 months at that job. Please remember that you're adding up the total number of months, you need 36 months to claim 3 years. Doesn't necessarily have to be 2012-2013 etc. Only one year has to be continuous, the rest can be patches of months put together to give you the maximum amount of months you need. 3 Likes |

@intrinsicniyi - Congratulations on getting eligibility passed! You can now breathe a sigh of relief. At this stage, it's safe to pack your bags @sesan01 - I would re-send those documents as soon as possible, including the pay stubs and all the information you sent the first time. Use ilovepdf.com to merge all of them and name the file something like FirstName_LastName_Proof_Of_Employment and follow up with a phone call until you get confirmation that the file has been received. Then order GCMS notes again just to be on the safe side. 5 Likes 3 Shares |

I'd suggest you wait. Mine expired shortly after I got PPR but my COPR came with one year extension. I didn't even get a chance to request the extension, they did it on their own without me redoing medicals. Jbaby09: 1 Like |
