My friend did medical february 25 and he tracked is document today and it has been dispatched since 12th of April

No approval mail , i told him it is a delay because in most cases he must get approval mail .

He said the last time he was delayed after medical Vfs sent mail and ready for collection to him the day his document was dispatched from embassy and he collected the following day.

But this one , no mail nor sms to that effect .

Please when can he check Vfs office pick up is passport.

for now since he did not not link it online, the only option is to wait till he gets his package. he should send a mail to vfs quoting his tracking number if his package is already in Lagos .they will let him know if his package is already in Lagos. if he did medicals before, and cic requested for another medicals for this present application. then his chances for approval is on a very high side, let's say 80%.

(Your processed passport has been dispatched from the Canada Visa Office ACCRA , on 18/01/2017 to the Canada Visa Application Centre.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website) please i need an asistance on what this mean. Have not received or gotten any mail yet.

were u called for medicals or did u do upfront medicals? if yes is 50/50. if not, sorry is a refusal.

since you have located this forum you don't need any agent, and is not a must you must have anybody in Canada, and also using an agent is not a guarantee your visa will be approve, and also note most of the challenges and problems some people in this thread are facing especially with misrepresentation of information were caused by agent. first settle in your mind that you can do it on your own. if you can have that settle in your mind, the you begin your success journey. and note people just like u came and did it on there own. and must of them are in Canada today. so the big question how do you start?
1. get an admission from either a university or college in Canada. and note the course you are applying for must be related to your either your first degree or work experience other wise, your visa will be refuse base on purpose of visit.
2. package your visa application very well. expecially if you are going for either a postgraduate diploma or certificate program.
3. then be ready to wait. patient is d key to dis Canada visa journey. note. during your waiting period every mail wen enter your mail box go dry cut your mind.
but most importantly we are here for you.

who is your sponsor?
and what program did you do during your first degree? answer to these questions can give us a clear direction of helping you.

Good evening house. I applied for trv last yr and was denied (personal asset and purpose of visit). I hv HND in electrical engineering and applied for marine engineering and systems design (technician diploma) at memorial uni. My sponsors had (1st : 25mill, co-sponsor : 4mil) with no dependants. I intend reapplying again but this time my main sponsor will pay my full tuition while the other sponsor will pay some cash(around 1-2mil) into my account to show commitment . I also intend putting some cash of mine (400-500k) into my account since I am working. I also intend using my late father's landed property papers ( which I didn't do during my 1st application ) to show I have asset back home (though it belongs to me and my only(elder) bros. Pls gurus in the house what are my chances cos I intend applying soon.. @Michv, @thesoj and other gurus help a brother out

the challenge you are having is not your sponsorship. it has to with the course you are going for ,that is why purpose of visit was ticked . ur course is nether related to your job or your undergraduate studies. and you also have to go for a program that is higher than your previous education, there should be a career progression. and you can also order for your case file. to know exactly what you are addressing. for personal asset your spouse and children and your personal account statement will address that and if you are employed a leave of absent will address it. success can only come when u do things differently from the way u did before. take your time and make sure you are addressing the right thing.

congratulations, yes you can renew your passport even if there is six months left . I encountered the same challenge last year. when I was about applying for my study permit. at first they told me it was not possible, but u know Nigeria and our system anything is possible. just print the mail cic sent to you and take it along with you, explain to them and just take with you Exra cash, aside from the normal passport price. and you will be OK. once again congratulations. and I also tap into your testimony.

Applied August 31st. uptill now, nothing yet from CIC. not even a medical mail. and am resuming 9th of Jan 2017. CIC fear God ooo. let's keep the hope alive. because last last nah praise go end am.
