Syria couldnt win its civil war without the help of the Russians, Hezbollah and the Iranians. Syria at its current state couldnt defeat Costa Rica and they dont even have a military. Israel goes into Syrian airspace all the time and blow up weapons depots that are supposed to go to Hezbollah and havent responded once.
