hi house.. to reply this comment based on my experience and on the insinuation of the STATEMENT.. you ave simply been recommended for admission (for that score). its basically an advice to the admission committee to take you in... just shows there's a real good chance of getting in.. But its still just a chance.. hope for the best

[2016/17 ADMISSION NEWS Latest Admission news has it that no list will be coming out this week or next. Thanks to this high profile individual who disclosed to me that, there will be General meeting among NUC , JAMB and other Organs of Education in Nigeria on 11th of November in Owerri Imo state. The main motive of the meeting is to address divergency in admission pattern throughout the Federation. Jamb is not happy the way most institutions including UNN gives admission . They want every list to come ones and for all and as such they are against supplementary, staff quota and V.C list. An institution may deny a candidate who score 308 for Med&sug admission and admit another candidate who scored 250 on the same med&sug. just because he/she knows someone. Summary is that Jamb and ministry of Education want every admission to be given as that of UNN first list and should comprise the full capacity given to institutions. So there won't be any admission till after that meeting on 11th. So pray so that the ouCopied of the meeting will be in your favour.

Well, i think the supplementary list is predicated on the 14th of nov meeting btw jamb and heads of schools for last screening of admitted students into their respective choice institutions before the official release.

meanwhile unilag is yet to conduct screening for those admitted on the merit list, December is fast approaching....

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that it will not allow institutions to reject candidates arbitrarily or as result of sudden change in admission criteria.
This was made known by the Registrar, Professor Is-haq O. Oloyede during the extra ordinary technical committee meeting on 2016 admissions to first choice institutions at Baze University, Abuja.
According to him, “JAMB will not accept whatever is done arbitrarily and I hope those that are here will make adjustment. They must be able to explain why somebody with high score was not taken. I have a particular school where the person who scored the highest marks was not taken and the reason was because the university changed its rules. You cannot change the rules when the game is on. You have to wait until 2017 to publish the new rules; you cannot have a particular rule and changed to another.”
He further mentioned that the admission criteria by institutions must be reasonable, explicit and must have been published in the 2016 admission brochure.
He equally stated that it is wrong for any institution to admit candidates beyond its carrying capacity and called on institutions that were yet to update their requirements for the 2017 brochure to urgently do so.

2016 Admissions: JAMB ratifies lists of shortlisted first choice candidates

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Friday said it had concluded arrangements to hold its next technical meeting on admissions at the Bayero University in Kano. The board’s Head, Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, told newsmen in Lagos that it would hold from Aug. 22 to Aug. 26.
Benjamin said that the meeting would receive the lists of candidates who had met the admission criteria from the various tertiary institutions for its ratification. Benjamin said, “ We are expecting a full complement of representatives from all the tertiary institutions in the country to attend the meeting.
“They are expected to submit the lists of first choice candidates shortlisted for admission into the respective tertiary institutions, comprising universities, polytechnics and colleges of education. “ The board and all other stakeholders will collectively go through the lists to see if they had met the admission criteria.
“The board, if satisfied, will ratify the lists and admission print-outs will be issued to the institutions.’’ He said that the names of successful candidates would also be uploaded on the website of respective institutions for candidates to print. According to him, the admission letters will contain details such as admission status, school and course of study as well as duration of chosen programme.

there is a box in the registration process saying ''have u ever attended any tetiary institution before'', for someone who has attended polytechnic before can he filled the space or one can skip that
