Politics / Re: Coronavirus: FG Tracing 4,370 People by suomi: 8:34pm On Mar 26, 2020 |
It's simple, get the flight manifest of those who flew into the country and publish the names of those who refuse to do the test. For those who might have got it from index cases, publish their names also. They live among us and they cannot hide forever. Testing positive is not a death sentence, they should give themselves up for testing and quarantine. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: Minister Of Niger Delta, Akpabio Resumes Work One Hour After Swearing-in (photo) by suomi: 11:34pm On Aug 21, 2019 |
Why they put Akpabio over Keyamo may be that, he Akpabio was once an Executive state governor and in Adminitration, I think he is higher that Keyamo who has not managed resources both human capital and financial, in that magnitude as a former state governor like Akpabio. 1 Like |

I have an observation, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu was tagged as Chairman of ACN. They need to correct this as he is not the chairman of the party but a leader. Eko oni baje o! |

Travel / Re: 45 Ghanaians Deported From Nigeria by suomi: 4:57pm On Jul 25, 2011 |
Misplaced priority on the part of the government officials. I am typing this mail from an office in Accra, Ghana. I am a Nigerian and lives there but get to move around because of the nature of my work. This country, Ghana, is my adopted second country in the world. Having been to and work in many othercountries of the world that cut across all continents. Ghana is far better and more accommodating that some other countries of the world. I always feel at home whenever am in this country. So why should my own country not make Ghanaian feel the same way whenever they are in Nigeria. We share common cultural heritage; the Ga from Greater Accra( have their origin from Ile-ife), the Ashatis (are believed to be related to the Ibos). We even inter-marry ourselves i.e Ghanaians and the Nigerians. So why are we deporting them? For all you care to know, many Nigerian companies are here with a lot Nigerians working here both legally and otherwise. We should not use this to cause rift between 2 sister countries. Among the Nigerian companies are GTB, UBA, Zenith, Intercontinental, Access Banks, AMAL Bank(90% owned by Oceanic bank of Nigeria). Even until recently, the MDs of Coca Cola Ghana, Guinness Ghana and Total Ghana were all Nigerians. Globacom, Oando and Sahara Energy are all operating here in Ghana. IEI Insurance company is also here. Many of us Nigerian come here regularly to stay. Nigerian Airlines too come here, the likes of Aero, Air Nigeria, Arik and co. So we have come a long way as sister countires and so acts of deportation should not spoil the good relationships we have and we are still going to have in the future. Also, according to the constitution and demography of Ghana, they recognised 1% of the Ghanaian population to be Yorubas who actuallyoriginated from Western part of Nigeria. So we are brothers and sisters and issue of deporting the law-abidding Ghanaians in Nigeria should not come up. I know of Nigerians who own properties here and many of Nigerians students are schooling here. Only the bad eggs who are found wanting should be sent packing, the peace loving ones should not be deported. The govt should fish out the black sheep from other countries and leave the peace loving ones alone. |
Celebrities / Re: Frank Edoho Separates From Wife by suomi: 12:13pm On Jul 23, 2011 |
I still believe Frank and his wife can work things out between themselves. They need to pray and do counselling. With God all things are possible. Also for the sake of the 3 children God has given them. It is still reconcillable. |

Good speech, good message to all. For me, BRF should be getting ready to lead us as a nation come 2015. This is the kind of person Nigeria needs as a president. Fashola maa ko wa niso, iwo l'asiwaju, Eko ati Naija o ni baje o!!! |
Politics / Re: Fg Wasted N675bn On Ajaokuta In 30 Years – Probe Panel by suomi: 5:29pm On Jun 03, 2011 |
@ Reference, I was crying and at the same time laughing for this country when I read your piece. It's a shame on this country. What else do we want God to do for us. We are blessed as a nation flowing with milk and honey, endowed with all natural and human resources. I have transversed all the continents of world except one. Nigeria is blessed but this monster called Corruption is the bane of our problem. Our leaders are too corrupt and selfish. I pray that one day things will change for better when men and women alike, that are in position of power, will think less of themselves from stealing and siphoning our wealth for their greed and be selfless, focus and visionary. Honestly , we need leaders who are sincere in moving this nation forward. God bless Nigeria. Naija ko ni baje o! |
