We all know that Nigeria belongs to the hausa/fulani north that is why Prof Wole Soyinka described them as first class citizens. Yorubas don't understand Sanusi's message. What Sanusi is saying that they need Lagos more than the Niger Delta which means it will be easier to let the Niger Delta go than to let Lagos go. ![]() 11 Likes |

iamblisz: If you are smart enough you will see through what Sanusi said. They will not let Lagos go just like that, they believe that Nigeria has invested so much in Lagos. 14 Likes |

From the recent statement made by the emir of Kano that Nigeria needs Lagos more than the Niger Delta, it is becoming clearer that the north will not let go of Lagos like that if Nigeria breaks. I can understand why Yorubas get so uneasy when the talk of breaking Nigeria comes up. There will be fierce battles for the control of Lagos which would leave the city in ruins like Syria. The northerners have threatened that they will take Ofa in addition to Ilorin now they also need Lagos. I will not be surprised if one prominent northerners gets up tomorrow to warn Yorubas that the north will take Lagos with them should Nigeria break. 17 Likes |

After a successful Wrestlemania last week, one of the hottest search terms on Monday morning was Is WWE fights real? The answer, of course, is no. Hopefully this isn't ruining the experience for some poor unsuspecting 10-year-old fan googling this during his spring break, but very little about professional wrestling is real. WWE does go out of its way to try to prove that it is as real as possible, but the storylines have all been predetermined. When millions of fans tuned in to watch The Rock take on John Cena, WWE executives had already determined that The Rock would defeat Cena with a Rock Bottom. The organization employs writers to come up with interesting scripts each week in order to entertain fans -- no different from your favorite television show on CBS or NBC. It's also why you can't bet on WWE fights the same way that you could with a baseball or basketball game. Some online sportsbooks do offer betting options for WWE fights, but they limit the maximum bet to $50 so that no one with knowledge of the results could bet heavily on the outcomes. But wrestlers do suffer injuries from wrestling even though the matches have been predetermined. This could include torn muscles, broken bones, and intense scarring. Professional wrestlers are often expected to cut themselves with concealed razors to make chair matches or cage fights extra bloody. The wrestlers are hitting each other and using different techniques that do inflict pain on one another, but it is all choreographed ahead of time to avoid major injuries. Learning that wrestling is fake shouldn't stop anyone from watching it, though. It's still an incredible source of entertainment for fans of all ages -- the perfect combination of sports and soap operas. http://www.ibtimes.com/are-wwe-fights-real-435060 Lalasticlala

modath: Abagworo is really shameless, reason why Chino hates him more than the devil. Why can't he give us proof where southerners go about raping fulani women on their own soil in the far north. This nonsense has to be addressed and timely too. |

These fulanis apart from destroying our farms also rape our women on our own soil. It is our duty as men to protect our women because they cannot protect themselves. See how the fulanis come to our soil and defile our women and all we do is go to nairaland/facebook and shout. Can Southerners go into the north and try this rubbish?? Where have you read any headlines of how Southerners attack and rape hausa/fulani women in the north on their own soil. We should be able to stand up for our women even when we have to lay down our lives. Once more I repeat, our women cannot protect themselves, we ought to protect them. I can't believe that the president did not mention anything about fulani herdsmen that have been going about destroying farms, raping women, killing people and sacking communities mostly in the MB & South. Even if these herdsmen are Libyans as the president wants to believe, was he not supposed to address us on how he plans to exterminate these marauding Libyans?? Why is the president deliberately playing down on this herdsmen issue? 1 Like |

Spot on Dele Momodu, very good write up. I have said it several times that Nigeria could have been at war now if Jonathan had rejected the election results and insisted on holding unto power. Nothing must be done to humiliate a man who has turned out to be the hero of our democracy. Buhari is very childish in his attitude and manner of speech. Blame him for all that is happening now. If he continues at this rate, his government will fail, one yr has already gone past. We are watching. |
