I would even say that Oz student visa is very easy, with low refusal rate, compared to other countries.

WHich program did you apply for? I can see AL3 and SVP, but they are different.

Its under svp...BACHELOR OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION...I have been teaching for more than 6years now ,i attached all the recommendation from my working place in my visa application.

i couldn't apply from Nigeria because i m not living in Nigeria at the moment.My SOP was ok,i guess they denied me the visa for no reason....the reason they gave is that Nigeria economy is not as strong as that of Australia,that i might not come back after my study.I was also subjected under AL3 ,which made my application to stayed for almost 3months....it was the day i called them to know the update,that i got the refusal notice...

I just want to know the possibility of getting the visa if i re apply..Fortunately,pretoria has agreed to accept my application via courier service after i have informed them about the non availability of SVP assessment at the australian embassy where i reside,though i didnt inform them about my previous application.


Which country did u apply from? It might also be that your SOP isn't detailed enough. What makes u apply from other country apart from your country of birth? [/quote]

Wow..so sorry to here this...I am sure this is first refusal I am hearing about on svp.anyways I think you need to know the first reason your application was rejected.under svp which I put in my application,i didn't include bank statement despite the fact that I applied with my wife and my boy. I guess people here will help you out about suggestions.but I think first of all you need to know why it was rejected before making another move.svp isn't stressful, for all I know about it.

I M confused as what could be the reason behind it?it delayed for almost 3months.the only reason they gave,is that i may not return back to nigeria after my study....the course i was proposing to do is inline with my present occupation...i gave detailed information about my program,how the course will enhance my fututre job prospect....though the application was made in another country,

HELLO house....I M HEART BROKEN AND DEVASTATED,MY STUDENT VISA APPLICATION SUBCLASS 573 UNDER SVP WAS REFUSED ON THE GROUND THAT I WILL NOT GO BACK TO NIGERIA AFTER MY STUDY.i included both statement of account and affidavit of sponsorship together with a SOP stating my future plan with regards to the relevant of my proposed course to my future.i intended to enroll in a course that suits my employment background..it took them nearly 3months to assessed my application.i was so apprehensive about the delay that i have to called them on monday to ask them if i should apply for the extension of my starting date or defer my admission for the next semester,...but to my greatest surprise,the same day they sent me refusal notice without any cogent reason.....Although,i didnt apply in nigeria as i m currently residing in another country.

Meanwhile,i still intend to reapply again as i have already deferred my admission to the next semester,But i m worried about the chance of getting the visa ....will it be fine if i courier my application to pretoria because the AUSTRALIAN EMBASSY here doesn't assess any student here under SVP.In fact,they don't even have SVP checklist on their website or in their office.It seems as if they dont know about SVP or just a deliberate act.

please the house,i would need an advice or advices on how to go about it now....Is it wise to reapply again at the same embassy or send my application to Pretoria if it will be possible..?

Congratulations......pease,i would like to know the problem with the birth certificate that the caused delay...i m in a similar situation like you,DOB issue ....mine is more than a month now after i have submitted my visa application under svp...[color=#006600][/color]

Rejoice with me house,my family visa was granted TODAY 9/1/2015 after a long battle.
Brisbane here I come...
logedd my visa since Sept 19th,SVP but was delayed because of issue with my daughters birth cert.
Finally God intervaned,all there investigations was confirmed positive.

More like investigating his past to make predictions of his future. The result of an individual who has been involved in violence, criminal activities, terrorist activities etc will return negative and get denied for the visa.

Good day......please does this external security check applicable to student visa too?i asked this question because i m worried about my visa application...its more than a month since i applied under 573 svp.i m currently living in another country other than nigeria,i once used wrong DOB and different surname,which i have corrected in my new passport,and i equally informedc the embassy about the previous DOB....i havent been involved in any criminality in the past or at the present..i m worried if the change of DOB will raise any security concern which neccesited the delay,although i have written to the embassy and they asked me to be patient that they are currently assessing my application that was before the xmass break.
