mompurity2:
Hello mama's, I just got our SFA result. Here it is ;
-motile cells; 50%
-non-motile cells; 50%
Abnormal forms; tail absent
Semen count : 30.1 *10^6

Biko, I no understand wetin they mean by tail absent. Pls can someone shed more light on my result?

@legendsmother, pls help me once again. May God bless u.

hello mompurity2! Ahh if tail is absent, how did they determine the motility? It's with the tail that they know which one is moving. We also need to know the morphology of the sperm. From what I can see these numbers are good. WHO recommends minimum of 20 m/l density and motility of 40%. The normal form (morphology) should be 4%. Once we know that one, we'll know you're good to go.

Thanks for the replies mamas... Will call the Jikwoyi lady tomorrow

I hope I'm not too late Apple19. You should also try Dr Osazuwa in Gwarimpa. He used to work for NISA Premier before he set up his own place. He's at #64, 4th Avenue, Gwarinpa.

Hope this is helpful.

conyema12:
Please is there a way to restore my wife's egg white cervical mucus. She does this ovulation test and it comes out positive, yet she can't see her cervical mucous that signals ovulation is taking place.

We ve tried for 3 times ( I mean cycles).
Thanks

Don't be so worried. Not everyone sees their cervical mucous during ovulation like me don't. There are other signs you should look for. Ask her if she feels pelvic pains in the middle of her cycle. Also are her menses regular? If they are then that means she ovulates. As long as you're using a good ovulation test, just trust the product.
