You can take some Beauty Fashion courses. And then make sure you know you are talented. Take your own work to some big fashion designers (if u can get to them). Wear your own stuffs, and tell people about it. So they can tell people that know people that know people who can promote you, and pull up a mini-fashion show for you.

I like this, this would really go a long way to help.I love fashion.

Girl,

You don't have to worry about what's in style, all you need to do is go to get correct yankee style clothes from the classic shops, shades, bags, shoes, tank tops, sexy tops and you be fine

any hair style u think of they do there in naija.

My babe just returned from naija and she told me that she was looking fly as " a star" in that many naija babes just they wear tops/jeans, and don't forget to go home with straight hair and not braids so that you can stand out ok. bye girl.

who says they don't use straight hair in naija?there's hardly any hair style u do that they don't do there, just name it.
Family / Re: Is There Any Man Who Hasn't Ever Cheated On His Wife? by sweetpea(f): 4:49pm On Mar 28, 2006
im not married, so don't have any stories about myself,

I only have info about my parents:
My Dad Never Cheated on My Mom, and
My Mom Never Cheated on My Dad.

How do i know? ive grown up to know that my parents don't keep secrets among themselves, and even amongst us children.
As such, i myself find it hard to keep anything a secret.

that's a nice imput there. cool

Romance / Re: Recharge Cards Or Love Cards: What Kind Of Card Do Girls Prefer? by sweetpea(f): 12:50pm On Feb 06, 2006
See,I don't expect everyone of us to agree on this issue, its normal for anybody to react the way they like,we all have preferences, surprise gift is always the best.I repeat sending me a meaningless love card is as good as not sending anything.I for one don not ask for gift,I'm very independent, meaningless card pisses me off, what I'm saying in essence is this (I've made it clear to those that are close to me),if u are sending me cards, just be careful what u send.
Romance / Re: Recharge Cards Or Love Cards: What Kind Of Card Do Girls Prefer? by sweetpea(f): 10:17am On Feb 06, 2006
What i am still saying is that if Nigeria is rich enough, nobody including the ladies will worry about recharge cards. Here in US, you will never hear people asking for recharge cards coz you can get an Int. call card(not even local) for as low as an hamburger price.
I agree with you with hand-writing cards coz that's what i used to do too. I can't buy those cheap cards out there for my girl, i can only buy it for friends.
And another question, before NIg started having phone, weren't you appreciating

What I'm still saying is no matter how rich u are,u can still appreciate a kind gesture(repeatedly saying it).even if its the cheapest thing u can get there,I'm not talking 'bout the cost of cards wether cheap or no cheap, what I'm saying is ,if u are creative enough in ur cards I'ld appreciate it,but if its just for buying sake ,then u just didn't do anything.Imagine a guying buying my elder sister a card, they met few days ago and the guy send a card, this is the message in the card '' I'll never forget the love we shared all these years,u meant a lot to me passing through the huddles in life together our love still remain strong'' can u imagine? they met only ones because the guy was on his way to see a friend when he bumped into my siter and my sister gave him the correct description to the place 'cos he was in our area looking for his friend.what I'm saying is don't just buy love cards 'cos love is written on the cover page,if u do it would piss me off,if u send a recharge card thinking u can get someone like me with that u are lieing to urself. My conclusion is have the right motive behind mind before sneding a gift,I'm very sure that person would appreciate. To me I prefer a recharge card to a meaningless love card.
Romance / Re: Recharge Cards Or Love Cards: What Kind Of Card Do Girls Prefer? by sweetpea(f): 11:55am On Feb 04, 2006
I don't believe u guys, well we don't expect to agree on everything, one man's meet is another's poison, what works for u might not work for me.There are some guys that just buy card,so long as love is written on the front page, without reading it they buy it for their girl friends being that females are emotional feeler they believe everything the cards says, and would be emotionally attached to the card meanwhile the card doesn't really mean such to the person that send it,different stokes for different folks.I for one prefers creativity,it makes me know u are for real , so ladies wake up than chasing shadows then later u start crying that a guy has gilted u.'cos u were emotionally attached than u were supposed to be because of mere words.
Romance / Re: After She Tests Positive To HIV: Would You Still Marry Her? by sweetpea(f): 11:37am On Feb 04, 2006
This is serious what kind of question is this?I'm sure the person that asked this question already know the answer. This is life we are talking about here, what if the one u loves dies, can't u stay?so if the one u love has HIV then show empathy, but be careful u too don't contact it.
Romance / Re: Recharge Cards Or Love Cards: What Kind Of Card Do Girls Prefer? by sweetpea(f): 11:26am On Feb 04, 2006
I would critizise this a little,I don't see it as poverty, even the rich appreciates a kind gesture. Why I prefer recharge cards to love cards is that most of these love cards are not real, someone would just send u words that u know he doesn't really mean,I for one loves creativity. If u are able to creat ur own words, make some kind of creative hand made cards, words I've not heard from someone else before then that is better.Guys hsould learn how to touch the heart of their loved ones than just sending cards.I prefer hand written letters to cards.

I don't know where, because obviously i don't live in lagos. But what i know is, never buy powder from those girl by the roadside.... or on the bridge. Those stuffs are "elubo" + "coloring". I can assure you that "Tony montana" powder is a good powder, Buy the color that suits your skin. infact Tony montana has some facial products, and i bet they r good. Besides they aint expensive.

For Lip Gloss, you can buy the one by the street. Infact, those ones are better.. (for some weird reason). They seem to be thick and fabulously well scented. I will advice you buy Lip-sticks that are glossy like. Normal lip sticks are too dry, except of course, you will add gloss to it. Din't use pomade to rub your lips. It's Shines --- yes, but it suck. vaselines are good, but how much is 15 naira for lip gloss? oops.. i totally went to the Nigerians. Those that aint in Nigeria feel the vibe.

You can go to the dollar store. I aint shy to say, i buy Lip gloss from the dollar store. Lips gloss in the dollar store are soooo good. try it i say! But ermmm... don't buy One dollar store powder ooo.. it's not good. try Cover-girl or mary-kay. They are the less-expensive ones... and they r really good. Just buy your skin color, and enjoy the skin you are in because "you are worth

Thx so much deariee u did a very nice job here.would try to get some of the product,I always have pimples when I'm on or when I'm stressed hope this one has remedy too?
