(i) Saturday 28th March, 2015, 8.00am – 5.00pm only.
(ii) Saturday 11th April, 2015 8.00am – 5.00pm only

This total restriction of movements order applies to all, except for Ambulances, Fire service trucks and others on essential duties. Consequently, travellers and citizens who intend to use roads on these days and hours are advised to plan alternative times for their travelling.

While expressing his regrets over the inconveniences that road users and the general public may encounter as a result of this restriction, the IGP appeals for the understanding and cooperation of the entire citizenry, as the restriction is done in the nation’s interest.

We never got to really explore the joys of Mama Put.

The sweet smell of the Mama Put stew tormented me for a long time and for the record, the aroma of the stew made it look like all the operators of Mama Put went to the same school to learn how to cook.

Wizkid look like those old men who rape under age children we hear on NL on daily basis and as for Maheeda look, *sight* she look like smiggle a.k.a "My Precious" in Lords Of The Ring.

When my stylist Aisha suggested my look for the ball (the ball being the AMVCAs), my initial reaction was NO! I mean, the dress was amazing and all but it was so far from my usual style and comfort zone. I normally shy away from strapless options plus my choice would naturally be more flowy, ethereal and devoid of colour (black and nudes please). Also, this was supposed to be my big Cinderella debut and I wanted it to be perfect. However, I got a style epiphany and decided to do something different, to go bold, and I’m so glad I did!

The process of getting ready started with my hair and makeup, and for that I turned to Shade of Beauty by Queen. All I wanted was that J-Lo glow, and boy did she come through for me! We worked with bronze and nude tones, finishing it up with some extra long lashes for dramatic effect.

Having gone through the images, I must opine that I’m not a happy bunny. This event happens once annually and you get series of warnings before the D-day, yet some folks turn up there to yawa themselves and expect to be offered soft landing? Asi kafa na asi!
