Lagos. I tried as much as possible to make it a straightforward application.
For those always wondering, you do not need to submit a copy of your COS. I didn't submit mine. Neither did I submit my offer letter or anything, only the things on my checklist.

I have already booked for this medical last month. I am done with my documentation and background check with my employer and only awaiting for d COS outcome. So I decided to go ahead and do it since d tb certificate has 6months validity.

The only thing I have to add is that printout of appointment is not compulsory. If you have the soft copy, you can pass but you must print the payment receipt because they will sign on it

.it only means u should not leave until u visa has been released .if u do..ur visa will be cancled.... after ur visa is released u can go and come as u like as long as u don't flout the 180 days rule

I meant 3weeks was the last time I asked HR about the COS and she said they are still waiting the home office..baba I don wait oo.I did interview January but offer letter came May and that was when they told me formally that they have applied for additional COS allocation

If home office said 15 working days(21 days)outside bank holiday than wait. The most you can do is to get in touch with your employer that you are still waiting for your visa decision.

What was the NSF mail for MA? There's too much gap between visa application and biometrics..you could have paid for priority

Who have recently escalated their skilled worker visa (Health care visa) and how long did you get your visa after escalation?. My timeline. Application submitted-May 24th, 2023 , Bio- July 12th, 2023, NSF email for MA and dependents- July 22nd , 2023, additional info needed from spouse (PCC)- which was submitted in the application initially but we uploaded it again that same day. Since then no more information from UKVI. So many paid emails which says my application is under consideration n awaiting a decision. I asked for escalation 04/07/2023, got escalation confirmation via email from Sheffield work 06/07/2023- to wait for another 15WD. My work is starting August 2nd 2023.

I dont know about NHS jobs. I think my employer applied for additional COS allocation and told me that it can take upto 18weeks. I can only wait and pray. I have heard some that waited for upto 1,23,4,5,6 months. Everyone case is different.

If you read previous pages you will find answers. On your COS If the maintenance is ticked Yes, you wont provide POF. And also for healthcare worker visa , you wont pay IHS with your dependents but if its skilled worker visa you will pay 600Pounds IHS likewise each of your dependents yearly.

Ask someone in the UK to call them on your behalf. Possibly go there and verify them. Someone told me that she called some companies in the UK and they confirmed to her that they now charge for administrative fees.

COS normally is free but these days anything is possible

When can one start counting the 18weeks OR THIS 1-3MONTHS YOU SAID?

I was interviewed mid January. And was given an offer letter mid May. Though they hinted that Sponsorship can take up to 18 weeks that mid May. But upto now aside documentations and enhanced check, the HR tells me they are still waiting for the outcome of the sponsorship each time I ask.

Once ur vignette/visa sticker is issued...it will have an expiry date on it...weda u are dependent or main applicant, u must enter the uk before it expires...its not usually more than 3 months .....if it expires u cant enter the uk with it again

Still......u can still enter uk whenever u want as long as main applicant visa is active......its just u will have to reapply for another vignette with 155£ ...if the cost has not changed
