Religion / Ideology And Whatever Divides Men. by Tabspear(m): 9:58am On Sep 19, 2019
IDEOLOGY AND WHATEVER DIVIDES MEN.” BY TAOFEEK ABIOLA BADMUS
SEPTEMBER 17, 2019 BADMUS TAOFEEK ABIOLA LEAVE A COMMENT EDIT
When Harun Rashid, the most popular Abbasid Caliph in the 12th century wanted to oust his popular vizier Yahya al-Barmakiy and execute his childhood friend Ja’afar al-Barmakiy, he never looked at the girth of what bonded them and the decades they had worked together, rather he adjudged their unfortunate deaths on interests that divided the Arabs and Persians. Whenever discrimination engulfed the world, the emphasis was based on oppression and inequality built largely on difference not cultural or universal shared values. Also in all major crisis in the world, from Hong Kong, Yemen, China, United States and South Africa emphasis is also centred in interests in phenomenal human differences rather than the common interests.

Historically, In Nigeria there is always a tirade on the macabre violence that has engulfed our existence from whole to part and vice versa based on socio-political differences and tribal interests. If we were to quantify the deaths of minds, love, productivity and growth post-independence in this country, it would perhaps have developed a nascent country and stabilized it. Thus, it follows that whenever there is a political alliance or a social agreement based on a particular interest, there is a handshake that never crosses the elbow because a room for difference is always necessary to fan embers of disunity through negative hate campaigns, politicking and corrupt shared interests......https://link.medium.com/4CmAPomULZ

Business / Five Negative Emotions That Can Hamper Your Business by Tabspear(m): 5:21pm On Nov 13, 2014
As starters in money making, you most times fall into several errors that kill your morale. Human’s actions are majorly determined by their impulses triggered by emotions. The state of mind can influence the amount and quality of success you make. Should the emotions be positive, most likely the business would thrive because positive and negative cannot occupy the mind.

Heard of Marcus Licinus Crassus? He was the Roman General and politician who defeated Spartacus, the slave who led a revolt in Rome. He was so ruthless and greedy, The Roman general became wealthy when he bought the homes and belongings from the victims of Sulla’s sacking of Rome (Crassus was one of Sulla’s generals) for cheap. He then re-sold them at a good price. Crassus then expanded his wealth through the slave trade, silver mining, and real estate, especially by buying houses of those declared enemies of the state by Sulla. His greed made him begun to purchase burning houses while he acquired up to 500 builders. He bought the burning houses for cheap, salvaged the unburnt ones and leased back the houses to the original owners at a higher cost. This caused his enemies to have his head smothered and molten gold poured into his mouth as a sign of greed after his death.....http://www.horizonia.net/five-negative-emotions-can-hamper-business/

Business / Making Money Through Mini-hustling - Its Benefits . by Tabspear(m): 10:16am On Oct 12, 2014
Yesterday morning i had a gist with a woman. With deep regret she told about how wealthy she was in her youth and how cheap things were then. But the ardour of the youth rather sought irrelevancies instead of investments. Now she has no owned shelter.

A large amount of students today are waiting to graduate, get a gainful job, work and work before engaging in meaningful entreprise. Do they want to get rich, when they can no longer eat, drink and have endless sex ? Or they ahttp://www.horizonia.net/benefits-mini-hustling/re warned not to travel long distances due to frail and pale ?. Or they want to earn just what can cover their concurrent expenditures ?. One of the first clues of quick success or wealth is beginning early with mini- hustling.

Just imagine a young boy of 18, buying and selling diligently till he's 50 without losing his education and entreprise and some other of the same age working in the secretariat till retirement and begun to plan how to buy chicks for a poultry or begin a fish farm. Could they ever be on the same financial level ? The above has propelled me to give to the benefits of Mini huslting while still in school with examples of your rich peers you might not know about. Politics / Jonathan Should Ban Redeemed Church's Camp by Tabspear(m): 3:35am On Oct 04, 2014
Is camps a part of Christianity? What the hell is this ? My buttocks pains. The Redeemed Christian Church has brought more harm than good to the constant or partial users of Lagos Ibadan expressway and i urge the government to scrap the 3 day camping.
Sitting for hours in a stuffy and thick traffic and weighing the disadvantages of the camp to its advantages to the larger populace, I discovered the negative impacts of the camp far out weighs its profits. A curious mind would ask, since they are out to worship, what possible harm could they cause? My experiences today, October 3 2014 should satisfy their curiousity.

The traffic created by Redeemed camp causes accidents

I see a dead man as I write in a blue bus, a young man in the mud, killed by accident. The man was poorly dressed and covered with a cloth, it was obvious that he was in poverty and was searching for his daily bread. Most definitely, mad drivers on the rush either to camp or in evasion of the tight traffic must have killed him or how else would a dead man lay on the road? Does God want his worship to supersede our fundamental rights to life he has granted us ?or movement in search of food with the legs he has given us? Or man in his greed would not just consider. If its God that is all hearing and all-seeing we seek, churches on Sundays, fellowships and prayers during the week should suffice. If the spirit of God can’t speak to Pastor G.O to stop the killings by weighing the disadvantages his innovation has caused the federal government should connive with the spirits to stop the camp.

The Camp poses threat insecurity to both the road users and the locals

Due to the density of the road during the camp, there could be a mesh of criminals unnoticed amongst the crowd or in the traffic. I have heard of enough robbery cases on the deadly Lagos Ibadan expressway which is most definitely inevitable with the existence of the camp. In cases of robbery, the inept Nigerian police that finds it difficult to arrest a criminal on open field, how can they control onslaughts in an overpopulated area? I must admit as bitter it might taste, that the government should do its duty by making security a priority, thus banning the camp. Ever heard of an armed robber in GO’s house? Or road? Let the holy spirits protect him but not by making us insecure.

The Camp causes health risks

Following my observation, the camp causes health risks. How? the traffic wouldn’t avail a sick person prompt healthcare . Further the three days could overwhelm the hospitals within and beyond the camp thus creating a problem. Just imagine an epidemic breaks out or some wounded person needs treatment.Would God want us to endanger our health or that of another because we want to attend Adeboye’s camp ? Or Jesus preaches it? did paul write such in the Bible?.......http://www.horizonia.net/jonathan-ban-redeemed-churchs-camp/

Politics / Mission Impossible- Nigeria Can Not Divide In 2015 by Tabspear(m): 7:34pm On Oct 02, 2014

READ AS A SPEECH”

A vast amount of us must have heaved the sigh of relief, after the army killed the faceless Abubakar Shekau, indeed it killed a lot of Nigerians from all strata’s of life. This however should not dispel you from worry. The hungry vultures are hovering overhead, circling in want for ASO ROCK in 2015.

In the voodoo foretold by the United State of America,”Nigeria would divide in 2015″. We had the fear that the insurgency of Boko Haram; could be the teaser,Ebola; the territory marker and political parties; the convener. However, “till moment” all I saw was a deduction from the power and unity of the Northern elites, politically motivated killings and greed of the old politicians. The east as always is dedicated to whatever oil mogul in power and could sell their conscience to the highest bidder. A faint instance was Anambra in the last elections, which I believe showed the piper (PDP)to the state’s politics. How else would Obiano have defeated Nwoye? They played the population who believe in APGA and were oblivious of the hypocritical nature of their leaders. Also an outer look at the sarcastic Robinhood of Imo State, Rochas is pitiable enough as other governors would not just accede to his cries for better Nigeria. Infact, Ikedi Okahim is preparing to oust him regardless.

The Southern South states reek in mess, they lack basic infrastructure, amenities and water.Nonetheless there is legal and illegal cash overflow into the states from the federal government(PDP). Wondering how APC rule in Portharcourt? Amaechi doesn’t ply the roads, he flies in an helicopter!. Inspite of all of these trash, the ground is so smooth for PDP in 2015, because asides him being a brother, he shows his loyalty by registering citizens as ghost militants thus enriching the some of the jobless and ‘coded’ southerners with more than a hundred thousand naira monthly.
I recall how Jonathan won in the last election and how Ribadu was used. If Ribadu were not used, he should at least have won the then ACN stronghold, Lagos! He lost in virtually all southwestern states. Currently some of conceited and deceitful southwestern lords, headed by the Jagaban are working assiduously to crumble the PDP and establish their own rotten dominance. They In fact have threatened to form a parallel government should in case there is an anomaly in the next elections.

What all should know is this, when some members of the PDP seceded to form the New PDP and later defected to PDP,they rebelled. They rebelled against the Nigerian government and joined the opposition. Nairaland / General / What Women Do – Tales Of Ibadan Amazons by Tabspear(m): 8:07am On Sep 24, 2014
In this era, you are probably used to the alien tales of Margaret Thatcher, the first female Prime Minister of England, Joan of Arc(Jeane ‘D Arc) a lady who led the French armies to great victories during the 100 years of war in France or the Greek Amazons so beautiful but cut half of their breasts to facilitate archery. The Greek Amazons were trained to use virtually all weapons; they were honourable, courageous and brave. They resided in their female dominated kingdom Amazonomachies in Athens defended themselves and defeated large armies. Infact, the tales of their valour spread wide to a large extent that the Amazon River in South America was named after them. Courageous ladies do not only reside in Europe, history has recorded a lots of them Africa without excluding the Ibadan Amazons.

Ibadan is a land of rich war history, as it begun as a home for refugees and displaced individuals. It is a city that have housed countless warriors. Warriors like of Ogunmola, Oluyole, Aare latosa and Ibikulne who were instrumental in curtailing the expansion of the Fulani Jihad at Ikirun after the then Oyo capital Ilorin was seized were from Ibadan. There was a time in history when Lagelu, a great warrior from Ife settled in the area and due to his influence he became the Leader. After a short while the settlement began to witness advancement in terms of prosperity and progress and it was said that Lagelu prayed to the Yoruba god (Olodumare) before settling and requested for long life, good health, and good husbands for his children as they are all females and blessing upon the traders. Due to his growing influence he was decorated the Aare Ona KanKanfo of the Yoruba army. With his position he hosted an Egungun festival that year and a taboo happened during the festival, the costume of a masquerade fell with children and women present, thus desecrated the sanctity of the Yoruba ancestry. As it is believed that the masquerades represent the Yoruba ancestors.

Alafin Sango, the Alafin of Oyo at that time infuriated at the slip and its consequent effect on the citizens, called for an allied war and declared Ibadan a warzone to be obliterated from history as a punishment for the abomination. Lagelu, a war general prepared for war, however owing to the massive army of allied forces gathered by the Alafin, he had to strategize by moving with some of his followers and relatives to the hills of Ibadan(Oke Ibadan and fought a strategic battle from there. Soldiers of Lagelu attacked from the top of the hills and afflicted countless losses on the allied forces. Lagelu however was already old but his daughters groomed in the thickest of battles, with the toughest of men and the aura of a lord took the lea......http://www.horizonia.net/what-women-do-tales-of-ibadan-amazons/
