Politics / Re: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by Taio(f): 5:49pm On Jan 11, 2007
I feel it is time to stop 'suffering and smiling', leadership is a major problem here , our leaders don't see their roles as being a service anymore. Don't you get infuriated when they look you in the face and tell you lies? Well, I do. If our leaders will not serve us, we should think of ways to get them out and get them to 'pay for their sins' when they leave. Nothing is working because the 'powers that be' make sure it doesn't work!

Life imprisonment? U want him to roast his fellow prisoners and still not feel sorry about it? The man's mind is warped, let him rush after his mentor: Saddam Hussein

SaintChux,
I'm not on a suicide mission, but I am willing to be trained in the very art of terrorism they are subjecting us to!

Family / Re: Having A Joint Account With Your Spouse? by Taio(f): 5:25pm On Jan 11, 2007
I see no reason why a couple cannot have a joint account. I am married, sometimes ago my husband got transferred and fell ill, I was at the hotel with a baby and had to go and pick him. It was not easy to piece together the money I had to use to pay the cab driver. That was when it struck home that it could have been something much more serious, needing much more money than paying a cab driver. I remember my mum is anti-joint account cos she kept one with my pop who cleared out the account to build a house for his mom (my grandma) and he (my pop) died shortly after, leaving her high and dry. If you trust your man enough to do it, lucky you, go ahead, it could save your life someday!, if you know your husb is not accountable, you arenOYO (on your own) o!
Politics / Which Way Forward For Nigeria? What Do We Do? by Taio(f): 12:18pm On Jan 10, 2007
This is a question that has been on my mind since last year, 'Which way forward for Nigeria?'. I don't know if you feel the same I feel. We have prayed, I think we have prayed enough, if we believe the God we have been praying to is not dead and is still in the business of answering prayers. Yes! we need a honest, revolutionary, forward thinking leader, not the hordes of blood suckers that we have been saddled with for years now. So fellow Nigerians, what can we (you and I) do? What do we do to make our Nigeria a place we are proud of, a place for people to escape to (the way we have been escaping to other people's countries)?

There have been times I have been tempted to get trained in the art of terrorism, so like Robin Hood of old, in my own way, I would get out the bad guys, and they are many! I wonder if that would work! Nigerians, we need a future, we need a legacy, we need our pride. We have been battered, abused, used, prostituted, (I lack adjectives). Enough of these hand folding and scurrying away as if somebody else owns Nigeria more than we do. No, this is our Nigeria, your Nigeria, my Nigeria. What do we do?
Career / Re: I'm In Love With My Boss by Taio(f): 11:51am On Jan 10, 2007
There's nothing wrong with being in love with your boss, ceteris paribus (all other things being equal)! I recommend a dose of 12 M&Bs, Silhouette or Harlequin. Just make sure he is single
