Travel / Re: Air Peace, Emirates, Turkish Airlines To Launch Flights From Port Harcourt by talk4free: 4:25pm On Apr 15, 2019 |
Before you all celebrate. Be aware that its much more expensive to fly from PHC than from Lagos. You can confirm from Air France flights. Almost 150-200k difference in some cases. So bad that air France has promised to close the route in couple of weeks as people are still flying to Lagos on local flights to take the air France flight, hence the flight is hardly full despite being combined with Abuja. 4 Likes |

They are saying it like its a thing of pride. The only reason its not in our airspace is because our airspace has no new planes. All the old twenty something year old planes dominate our skies. Who dash us MAX 8. 2 Likes |

Business / Re: Egina FPSO: Samsung Eyes Future Opportunities In Nigeria by talk4free: 10:33am On Jan 08, 2019 |
gare: The construction of modules integated into the FPSO in Nigeria started in 2015. The FPSO only arrived Nigeria in 2017 or early 2018 and the pre-fabricated modules were incorporated. Approval for the project was taken shortly after successful exploration wells were drilled. The was already a field development plan for Egina as early as 2009. Was GEJ your president in 2009? Look, i'm not one of you that licks the asses of GEJ or Buhari...Facts are sacred, stick to it. 2 Likes |

gare: Oh please just shut up. The Egina Field was discovered in 2003. The first well was completed in 2015 and the first oil got to surface just last week. What has GEJ got to do with it. It's very annoying when you narrow minded people come to lay claim to what you know nothing about. 4 Likes 1 Share |

So why are people thanking God for her? She never said how the guy now rose from the rags to riches. He could have done something illegal to eventually become rich. Sure there are few people that grow in life by working hard and having Gods favour. But until I get the full details, I won't thank God for anyone. This rag to riches stories is the biggest issue our youths have today. Meanwhile it doesn't come that easy. 3 Likes |

He was in schlumberger port harcourt base (most likely blue base for completions). NOBODY working in home country in schlumberger earns 2 million naira a month, how much more a trainee (judging from his green hat). As an ex employee, you should know this was even during SSNL, after Sola's magic. No dey support lie abeg. No be only you been work for schlumberger. 18 Likes 1 Share |

9jakohai: Sorry bro. I can see you are trying really hard to convince everyone here. Unfortunately, Nigerians don't read. Neither do they go out of their way to sort out accurate information. The rules and set prices and duration of increase had been set since 2014. Fashola only insists we stick to the template as it will only lead to endless litigation. The price was set and timely increases approved then with promise of improvement and metering over time. The GENCOs ans DISCOs have reneged on thie part of the deal to provide meters and improve supply, but they never fail to show up once its time for the planned increase. That is the part this Govt should be resistant too. If you don't cover the metering gap, then you can't increase tariff. Simple. 2 Likes |

This just shows how corrupt the NNPC is. Few dats ago the minister said there would be no further repair on the refineries, obviously because he was frustrated with the lack of results. Now the NNPC is coming out to say the same refineries will work full blast. Its obvious they don't want the minister to cut of their drain pipe of stealing money meant for the refinery repairs and operations. Bunch of thieves. 1 Like |

I was looking at the black dust I had been noticing for the past week wondering if I was the only one. Then I called people in Woji, elelenwo, transamadi and abuloma and they all confirmed observing same. No one has a clue where its coming from so what video do you expect from the op? We are talking about a serious environmental hazard here and little kids with fragile lungs are breathing this same soot. Abeg for people with brains anyone with any idea what's the cause of this?
