I am very surprise that people don't believe that Djs accept money for song to be played on air. It is called PAYOLA Its part an parcel of the music industry worldwide. Do you believe that Beyonce became a star on talent only? For ANY artist song to be played on Air, the djs have to be paid, you will have instances where you can "Bad up" and threatened them to play your music, but that only happens when you have got muscle behind you. Even the established artist pay their "dues" and some will go as far as to get the djs in their camp and "suffocate" their rival music. Thats how the game is played. I am sure you have heard Djs commenting on their "favourite Artist" If there is popular Dj, then he is taking bribes. Watch out for the ones who can get the quick interviews and seem to ALways get the latest release from the artist. |

Thanks for the response. haven't tried it yet, too busy but i appreciate the reply. I got Photoshop cs3 and cs4 with a raft of video tutorials and exercises but believe its easier to get answers to specific questions. If you are familiar with the Kelby tutorials on Photoshop you would know what i mean. |

Just thought I would start this topic, given my current experience. I have some time on my hands, so I decided to see how much Photoshop I could learn. I am starting from scratch. Since its a self taught project, I am sure I will have many question and am hoping the Gurus here will help with the answers. Other persons am sure, will have questions that will also need answers. With all that said, here is my question: I made a layer and have it as a background, color Black. I did a circle selection, and want to put that selection as Grey and a new layer. how do i get it done? |

fegflu: You are correct!!! There is something fishy, its called corruption. Here is how it works: The UBA will have exclusivity when it comes to new State Workers and their accounts. Meaning that anyone working for the state will have a UBA account!!! be they old or new. This in turn mean that State funds will flow directly to UBA as they(State) will have to have an existing account. In instances where the State have insufficient funds to make payments to workers, then the UBA, will be able to charge exorbitant interest on the overdraft. In short, its not for the convenience of the workers, but to give a competitive edge to the Bank, and increase their profit margins. |
