The X-Type was lightly based on a modified version of the Ford CD132 platform. The X-Type shares about 15 to 20% of the Ford Mondeo design. The X-Type was initially offered as four-wheel drive only and mated to a 2.5 litre and 3.0 litre AJ-V6 petrol engine.

Nigerians should ask the Government what they did with the almost 1 Trillion Naira budgeted for Defense in the Last Fiscal year. Thank You Bossforeva, I stand to be corrected. Banky3w, I think the below will answer your questions. I have included Engines from both Element and the Accord. This is 4 cylinders, I have never seen an Element with 6 cylinder and as you can see, both engines are thesame.

Honda Element is a crossover SUV based on Accord platform. It shares same engine with the Accord. Personal choice would be Element, some are full time 4Wheel drive. Either choice is a good choice.

Isuzu placed a sleeker body on its midsize Rodeo SUV chassis and installed a larger V6, to create the Axiom for 2002. Axioms were offered in base and uplevel XS trim levels. They shared a 3.5-liter V6 from Isuzu's recently-retired Trooper SUV. A four-speed automatic was the only transmission. Axioms were available with rear-wheel drive or with Isuzu's Torque On Demand four-wheel drive, which can be left engaged on dry pavement and included low-range gearing. Although Axioms shared the Rodeo's wheelbase, they were six inches longer and about 1.6 inches taller. The Axiom's body was considerably curvier. Side airbags were unavailable, but antilock braking was standard. Also included were 17-inch alloy wheels and Isuzu's Intelligent Suspension Control, which was basically electronically managed shock-absorber damping. Axioms with four-wheel drive had rear disc brakes instead of drums. The XS upgraded the base model with fog lamps, a sunroof, heated front seats, and leather upholstery. Axiom rivals included the Dodge Durango, Ford Explorer, GMC Envoy, and Toyota Highlander.
2004 Isuzu Axiom: Revisions to its V6 engine gave the Axiom an additional 20 horsepower for 2004. Operating with direct injection and variable valve timing, the new 3.5-liter V6 promised improved fuel economy and performance. Intelligent Suspension Control was standard on all except the two-wheel-drive S model. During the 2004 model year, a tire-pressure monitor was expected to become standard.

Endeavor is not a true Mitsubishi, it's made by GMC for Mitsubishi. 100% American in and out.

It has the same chassis and engine with Rodeo and Honda Passport. This is a very reliable truck, very rugged and a good value for your money. I currently have one in my garage ready to be shipped to Nigeria. It's a very utility truck excellent for Nigerian roads. Isuzu Trooper sibling. Recommended.

You can only compare the Accord if it's V6 engine. Even at that, the Avalon beats it hands down, Honda has transmission issues which tends to develop problems with high mileage. Take Avalon for a ride, you wouldn't want to drive any other car. It's flawless, luxurious and low maintenance. Plus it's a TOYOTA.

Crosstour has the same engine with the Accord. However, these two autos are not in the same class. There is no car like the Mercedes and with your budget, you can definitely get a good Late Model ML.

If you are trying to win your friend over from Japanese to German, I don't think buying this particular C-Class would be a good move based on the fact of the mileage, price and being a Nigeria used. If you can find the same model Tokunbo used preferably American model, believe me your friend will never drive Japanese again. Mercedes is in it's own class, just incomparable.
