Education / Re: Msc For Me Is A Must But How Do I Do This? by Tanfikos: 6:49pm On Jun 08, 2012 |
mollytinrox: Dear nairalanders, pls help me get this clear. I graduated with 3.86, and would like to go for my MSc asap. Hello molly, You have an outstanding academic record there. I personally think you should look forward to doing masters abroad. There are so many scholarships out there. Like my lecturer would say, search them on the internet, find out the requirements and apply; its not possible for you (with such an academic record) to apply for 5 scholarships and not get one. You can be sure any UK school will give you quick admission for MSc with your result. You can start collating all the documents you'll need to apply from now, like your transcripts, etc; and apply for a program to start in October (after your service). As to your question, i don't know about Unilag (or MAULag) but for Uniport where i studied, you pay once for the masters degree program (about 70k for engineering - tuition). I should think that the fees should all be in that range nationwide. Basic requirements for masters anywhere is your transcript; other supportive documents like LGA Identification, birth certificate, etc will also be required. So you should start gingering to get your transcript from the school. |

mollytinrox: 1. Accommodation isnt guaranteed at all, so if u dont know anyone in Lagos, join a xtian/muslim fellowship. After 3weeks, you wont be denied shelter in their lodge, hopefully. Better still, get 9 people who have the same issue with u and rent a flat. Hello mollytinrox, I'm really happy for you. You are the only one i have heard of that has got a nice tale from her NYSC experience. Please i would like to know the name and address of the school where you did your primary assignment. Are you currently serving there now?? Please kindly send me the details of the school. Just incase i can influence my PPA. |
