Calling this report biased is a Bleep load of understatement. What happened in this video is called KARMA( which is a bitch by the way).

Abdulrahaman Abdulraazaq nor APC has ever contributed a dime to the particular event they intend to shout their stale slogan. But their psychophants adviced them to go shame Saraki at the event, boy they never expererit...

Take your time to watch the video(s), there are a couple of 'em out there. You can clearly see AA and all the APC guys embarrassed as Bleep. I felt sad for him, why was he deceived that much i wonder. If you are not a confused fool, of all the places you intend to disgrace Saraki, you picked the Emir's palace? You must be fucking insane to think the people of Ilorin would go ahead to disgrace the Senate president in such event.

And nobody cheered for him, you should change this misleading title. Get your shit straight.

Politics / Re: 2019 Will Be The End Of Saraki’s Deceit In Kwara- Group by Taofiq01: 7:22am On Oct 22, 2018
bilms:

What you have failed to say is that, prof Oba started contesting in the same year as AA.

In 2011, while AA was contesting under the progressive platform of CPC, a new party with its ideology for change, Prof was contesting under the destructive platform of Saraki under PDP. Saraki suddenly asked prof and others to step down for Ahmed and because they all lack any political strength or structure, they did, except one person. Guess who it was? Bashiru Bolarinwa, the current APC chairman in the state.

Bolarinwa contested the primary against Ahmed and Ahmed was declared, in an election Bolarinwa believed he won. We all remember his court cases in trying to reclaim that mandate. If Prof had any political stremgth, he wouldn't have stepped down. he would have done what Bolarinwa did.

In 2015, after Prof had shared garri with Saraki, he contested the PDP governorship primary election, where he came a distant 5th, trailing the likes of Ajibola, Belgore, Gbemi Saraki and Ajadi.

AA on the other hand became the Senatorial candidate of PDP, giving Saraki a run for his money. The result announced was actually forged and in a court ruling, it was recommended for the INEC official who presented that result, declaring Saraki as winner be prosecuted. Till this day, that case is still yet to be concluded.

So, where did Prof suddenly got the political strength you are ascribing to him?

Like i said, Prof has his strength, but definitely not compared to AA.

Yes, AA is a business man who doesn't stay at home, but he has his team and structures on ground and they are well funded to operate. Prof on the other hand may be at home, he does very little to connect. And besides, Prof doesn't go beyond Kwara Central. So they are incomparable.

And what you also failed to mention is, APC's primary was based on people's votes not delegates, there is no way on earth AA could have beaten Prof in Kwara central based on that ; quote me anywhere.

Furthermore, let's not forget that it isn't only Kwara central that's gonna vote for the governor of the state sha. And as to what caused what differences amongst politicians, i restrain from commenting on those, there is no saint in Nigerian political space. But all in all, the 2019 general elections is gonna be a fun one, peace.

lol that was 2 years ago now. you don't even understand kwara state politics.

They really don't.

FYI, AA has been contesting in Kwara for God knows how many years now. Truth be told he gave Saraki the run for his money for Kwara central senetorial election last election, but he still lost nonetheless.

AA is no grass root politician and contrary to what many APC guys will tell you in Kwara, there's a batshit crazy civil war going on with them. Just like the problems most APC candidates are currently facing.

In conclusion, never underestimate Saraki based on what you read online. And until APC settle there civil war shit, i don't see them winning the election.

NB: I reserve the right to be wrong though.

Wrong. Its precisely the same thing. The minority party can never produce the president. That's absurd. And if u are only concerned about the rules, then let saraki reconvene and let's test the rules and see how it plays out. This is a dangerous precedent because tomorrow when a party with only one rep becomes the president I hope u won't complain.

Show me where the position of the minority leader is stated in the Constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria and how such person would be elected and or removed. And boss the minority party produced the current president of Nigeria, kindly mind the information you spill here. finally, it is quite legal for NASA to go on break, i mean they did in the previous administration, why so much heat and noise now??

I thought it was balanced and d message was relevant to Oshiomole. He raised the private conversation because he says Saraki is a politician with no political value. That was to expose his hypocrisy and there was no other way to do it.

I get your point. Silence could be golden but to some noisy people, it's a sign of weakness. Saraki's response has been quite measured and he addressed every issue. In the process, we all learnt something and also exposed Oshiomole's level of ignorance. Eg. The minority leader position. He didn't even need to resign.. You can't head a group you are no longer a part of. How can he head PDP group of senators from APC? I never knew how the position was created.

If we keep paying attention, these issues are showing Nigerians the inner working of government and teaching the younger ones. I have sadly not heard any major cerebral discuss from the APC in the last 3 years. Even Sagay and Keyamu that I thought had some stuff keep amusing everyday.

Thank you for your input jare. A romantic relationship between the three arms of government isn't good for our democracy. I only hope and pray that people can understand this, pay attention to what these twats are doing and then make sure we learn from it and never repeat the mistakes anymore.

Let's keep the conversation rolling guys.

So you call all these theatratics democracy? Really? I weep for the future of Nigeria. Your futures are being played with and you're there choosing sides...

With pple like you, Nigeria is sure doomed! cry

Yes, i call them democracy. Obama was unable to do anything about gun control in America for 8 years, May is finding it almost close to impossible taking her country out of the EU, and with clear evidence of Russia intervention in the last US general election Trump and his supporters are yet to formally indict anyone. So yeah it isn't perfect but it's what democracy is.

And stop being like Oshiomole by attacking my person, kindly support your points with logical reasoning if you don't want the future of the country to be truly doomed. Morning boss.

I'm glad you mentioned Tinubu.

FYI... I despise the fool and all politicians. They're all the same. My point is the Nigerian youths need to wake up from their slumbers. These FOOLS have stolen our futures the way Saraki's dad, Tinubu and Oshiomole in the 4th republic and all other miscreants called politicians.
They enjoy the best of our resources at our expense! Their families are all abroad safe and sound while lavishing our resources... and here we are fighting on their behalf.

FOOLISHNESS & STUPIDITY of the highest order!

There's no crime in following what's going on in our country, and no one has shot anyone yet." Sha get your PVC's ready for the next general election " should be your advice.

These animals are busy toying with the future of millions of Nigerians and there you're adulating stupidity, praising a known corrupt FOOL's cunningness. Sad! undecided

You're busy barking the tune of the 'beautiful' politics being played while the nation is bereft of good governance due to these miscreants and cabals in the likes of Saraki...

Politics / Re: I Can’t Descend Into The Gutter With You, Saraki Replies APC by Taofiq01: 7:33am On Aug 10, 2018
Simple analysis from a slightly objective observer.

Saraki and his group joined the APC to start the then ruling party.

Saraki wanted the SP position but was asked not to contest.

Saraki never asked APC not to produce a candidate of their choice but asked for the distinguished senators to pick their president.

APC senators tried to filibuster the process by attending a meeting with the president (that the president knew nothing about)

Saraki was charged to court on several charges (trumpets up or not, no one is above the law). And he defended himself as a reasonable Nigerian without mentioning names or spewing foul languages.

Going by the record, Saraki as a Senate president actually passed a whole lot progressive bills when compared to the previous administration. PIB, not too young to vote e. T. C. I'm sure better fans of Saraki can name more.

He didn't accept Magu's nomination because, yes a letter was originated from DSS, twice!! Claiming Magu is unfit for the position.

Politics is local as Lai Mohammad mentioned, but none of Saraki's supporters at the local/national level ripped the benefits of him being the SP. All the appointments were not given to Kwara state. Where this fault is from, God knows.

The past three years have shown that against all odds, he's very good at his job but his party keeps persecuting him because he never bows to the EXECUTIVE arm.

And please tell me a country where that is good.

Dude switches party like he did for the APC and they are complaining after they practically forced him out.

And still he has never come out to insult or say a negative word against the FG, the president or any political opponents for that matter. All I've ever heard him say is how divided the party is and the presence of a canal writhing the government.

Superior political player at best, APC should pick up the pieces, go back to the drawing board and attack more tactically. There is no need for name calling. Nobody says you must be a Democrat or Republican for life. This is Democracy after all.

And yes, the president has done a great job over the past three years, my love for him doesn't make me blind.

Sorry for the long post and the occasional grammatical errors, i no too sabi ni.

Hello Taofiq,

I'm sorry for the delay in response to your query.
But I see @4mula22 has responded correctly.

Firstly, congratulations on your visa grant, and I'm happy to know that you've sorted things out and now ready to make the move.
We all had that bit of hesitation to make the move.

To further support what 4mula22 has said, YES you can travel with ONE-WAY and the reason he gave for this is valid.
Also, there's an International Organisation for Migration (IOM) that can help you with your flight bookings.
Their rate has been agreed to be fairly cheap considering the comfort of flying with Emirates.

I'm in Melbourne, and there are also quite a few Nigerians here.
In my experience, the best places to easily meet up with Nigerians are at religious gatherings such as churches and mosques.
You can also find them in schools, campuses, etc but that wouldn't be places you'd go normally.

For the PR, there's actually no pursuit per say.
It's left to us to get what it takes to get the PR.
Just as with your 476 visa, it's pretty a straightforward process with requirements to be met.
I moved to Australia about a year ago, and focused immediately on getting my PR.
Thanks to the team on the link below, I now have my PR.
Through the process, my only challenge was English as I had to take an English test 5 times before getting the vital band 8 for my case.

Go to the thread below and learn about the PR process so you can prepare and gather all relevant documents before arrival.
It's a happy family with loads of experienced followers, so be sure to ask questions by posting on the thread.
And don't forget to also contribute when you can...

Wish you all the best in your preparations, and safe journey to Oz.

Thanks boss

I already sent a message to them at IOM, waiting for their response.

Hello everyone

First let me hail everyone that has contributed to this thread, either by asking the right questions or giving the answers. Got great deal of info on here.

Now to my issue (s)

I got my 476 some few months back but couldn't travel immediately cause of NYSC. Now I'm ready but having issues deciding what type of flight ticket to book (one way or return)

I'd personally prefer one way but apparently I might not be allowed to board the plane from Nigeria cause I don't have student visa nor do I have a PR ( although I can use the visa to study or work). Therefore here goes my question,

* How true is this?? Not being able to travel to Australia with one way flight ticket.

* And if it true, how do I get a cheap return ticket? (I'm not planning on returning anyway)

Furthermore, I'm planning on going to Melbourne first, how can meet up with Nigerians over there?
