Politics / Re: Pastor Adeboye Prays For President Jonathan - Picture & Video by tayoakin(m): 3:49pm On Dec 20, 2010
There is nothing wrong with President Jonathan to have Knelt down before God to be pray for. The bible says that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

Please read Jonathan speech at the occasion, he likened himself to David that became a King in Isreal without his effort but choosen by God.
If you read the account in the Bible, there was an instance where King David dance so much in the public while worshiping God, that he was rebuked by his own wife ( Aparently the daughter of Saul), for exposing himself naked before his subjects. Bible scholars admitted that  she was the only woman that died a barren in the whole bible. King David committed a lot of sins and Inquities but God testify that he was a man after His own heart because he knew how to worship God.

No doubt, Pastor Adeboye is God general for our generation, and watching closely at the live of President Jonathan, every thing point to the fact that God  has choosen him for this time. I am not a support of PDP or any party for that matter, but I can tell you that God himself Zone the presisdency to Jonathan and no leader of PDP can claim the glory, not even Obasanjo.

Let us rejoice when our leader are seeking the face of God rather than reading meaning to every of their motive and action. I would rather prefer all our leaders are prayed for by men of God, than to visit Okrika shines for support and help.

Thank you.

Mr Adebayo Ogunlesi is the current Non Executive Chairman of African Finance Corporation. This is another organisation to watch out for in the future. As a Nigerian, I am really proud of the achievement of this man. He has done good for himself and help to promote the image of our dear country.

4 play,
Yes, Dangote had resigned from the board, but still has over 1 billion shares in the corporation. I am sorry to say this people like you can be analyzing or criticizing who should be on the board or not and you are free to do so. Come to think of it where in the world would you see a diversified portfolio of share like Transcorp for =N=7.50/Share.
And if you are waiting for the business track record before coming on board, just hold on for about 5 years and you can buy in then when the share is about $1( =N=130). Please don't complain then if Dangote share is valued for $1 billion dollar.

Personally, I Wouldn't be comfortable to invest in Transcorp if it hadn't attract this level of criticism or opposition at all. When you see a person or organization going through a lot of battle or challenges be confident that their is more to that enterprises or individual. As I look around this is the first Mega corporation in Nigeria own by Nigeria( 100%) and I have a strong feeling that it will not fail.

Reading through most comments on this subject matters, one is surprised at the level of ignorance expressed by some people on this topic.Personally, I have come to see reason why the rich are getting richer and the Average person are allways satisfied with their conditions because they dare not take any risk at all. Again the problem with us as Nigeria is that a lot of time we tend to run down good ideas by our fellow country men for no good reason at all. For any doubting Thomas Transcorp is here to stay and I can assure you that the corporation will deliver sooner than speculated in the IPO.
I cannot think of any Rich Nigeria who is not part of this corporation already whether directly or indirectly. For the sake of argument,Dangote ,femi otedoal,Jim ovia,Ajekigbe,Fola Adeola to mention few,it doesn't matters whether they left the board or not .This guys are not fool and they will not invest in any corporation if they cannot see the benefit or opportunities. Also all our major banks already invested on behalf of their shareholders(Indirect Investment) .I am also convinced that the so called opposition are part of the organization already, they only come out to oppose the idea when it suit their political idea or purposes.
I don't want us Nigeria to be ignorant of our so called political class , they are all of the same thinking and I can assure you that no one will touch Transcorp. I may be wrong but I can see how PDP will loose the election even the opposition knows that already.

Anybody that refuse to buy into transcorp now will have himself to blame in the future. And by the way all Nigeria and I mean all of us will buy into the organization whether as a consumer or as an investor. I choose to be on the investor side.
Remember this your seed is the only influence or control you have over your future and please use it wisely. I am sure that the least price anybody could buy into it now or in the future is =N=7.50 and it can only go up.
Please, I encourage all to read the prospectus again and follow your heart and not your head and if not sure consult your stockbroker or seek professional advice. And make sure you only, seek advice from people or organization who have proof of performance in their lives.

Thank you.

Politics / V.p.atiku Expels From Pdp by tayoakin(m): 4:37pm On Dec 22, 2006
PDP expels V.P Atiku and declares his seat vacant. Is this the end of political struggle for the V.P. Atiku ? Difficult to fight your boss and win. I think this political development will be very interesting in weeks to come.

Hi Iyke D,
I personally enjoyed your analysis on this forum and for sometime now,I have been following your write up on Transcorp and I really enjoyed it. You have done justice to the discussion as a true analyst and an entrepreneur. I would have love to speak to you but such a shame that people cannot connect together on this forum.
Anyway keep the good work going. Thank you again.

I don't think the price per unit of transcorp is =N=6.00 as speculated in the newspapers. The Group MD only said that the price will be competitive and affordable. How does that translate to =N=6.00 ?
