NYSC / Deffering My Youth Service - Need Your Pro Advice by tboyunited: 8:48am On Mar 09, 2015
Hello House
I am a new graduate of Computer Science from one of the Polytechnic in the south-western state of the country.
Just before I graduated I got a job that enables me save up to N20,000/ month (not a small amount if you consider my background). I was offered the job and decided to accept it based on the following reason:

1. It will keep me busy after schooling and slow down my continuous increase of all social activities we all do in school.

2. Enable me to save money before going for youth services as I was told you cannot rely on government allowance if you want to have a stress free youth services.

3. Lastly (the most important reasons). I study Computer Science in school and if I must be sincere with myself those year i spent in school is a big waste because I was not taught anything that will enhance my skills, graduated only for the sake of certificate.
Now the problem.

I have decided to save money as much as possible and go for some training that will enable me face the Nigerian Labour market without fear. Now Youth service comes in, of course i want to go for NYSC but i think it is inappropriate to finish NYSC and rely on my parents because am unemployable in the Nigerian market. I started registration for NYSC and my name is on the senate list for 2015 batch A but i want to defer it to 2015 batch B.

So please how do i go about this without any implication as i must to follow batch B and secondly is my reason enough for me to defer my Youth Service to batch B.
Politics / It Was Not A Bribe - Akabuezeabout Money Taken From Jonathan by tboyunited: 9:27pm On Feb 27, 2015
http://www.naij.com/393199-it-was-not-a-bribe-akabueze.html

Leaders of Ndigbo resident in Lagos
State have confirmed that they were
given money by President Goodluck
Jonathan.
The former President of Ohaneze, Lagos
State, and coordinator of Goodluck
Jonathan Support Group, Dr Oliver
Akabueze, are primarily involved in the
case.
As it was informed by the Sahara
Reporters, the president solicited for
their support and asked the leaders to
mobilize Igbos in the state to vote for
him.
Moreover, Dr Oliver Akabueze
explained that the money they received
was not a bribe but campaign fund to
mobilise the Igbos in the state to vote
for the president.

Akabueze also stated that the president
donated a luxury bus for his campaign,
so that the bus must be fuelled and a
driver must be employed to drive it
during the Jonathan’s campaign.
Despite the fact he declined to disclose
the amount of money the president gave
them in Lagos, some sources inform it
runs into billions of naira.
Also, as it was informed from one of the
leaders, some of them got N500,000,
while the others were given N300,000
and N100,000, respectively.
Besides, some of the leaders said the
money has caused division as some of
the leaders who felt shortchanged said
they will not campaign for Jonathan.

To be mentioned, last week President
Jonathan spent five days in Lagos,
where he held series of meetings with
various ethnic and socio-cultural groups
and their leaders to seek their support
for his re-election.
During his stay, he reportedly donated
billions of naira to some of the groups,
though his media assistant, Reuben
Abati, has denied the president gave out
money to anyone.
Politics / Re: Dr. M.K. Hassan Fires Back At PDP For Calling Buhari A Semi-Illiterate by tboyunited: 9:01pm On Dec 23, 2014
omolami:
Both Prof Ladipo nd Hassan are right.Buhari is semi literate.Buhari may have gained admission into Defence Academy with O/level or modern 7 during his time.He has failed to attend elite academics institutions that could award him qualifications that literate people are known for.Obasanjo has been attending such institutions since after leaving d presidency.Qual like Bsc,Bed,LLb,Msc,Phd etc are what make one literate not military courses known to be useful in military circles or at most chief security jobs outside d military.Military courses are not academics subjects.Thank God that NDA is now a university. All previos Head of state before 1987 when NDA becomes university got Nig Def Academy Cert of Education (NDACE) which was not runing during Buhari's time. Therefore Buhari is at most a schl cert holder and therefore qual as semi literate. Its a pity that an LLb holder accept to serve him. Osinbajo may not know his onus

Guy u disappoint ur self, u proven a point dat GMB study military related course, but GEJ study animal related course and I think dat is why pple think he is clueless. Military is about human n as military man U a train based on human aspect which u can use either +vely or -vely depending on hw u are God fearing.

Ask them. You can imagine such irony and extreme madness. Why not even mohamad? The truth is that muslims are expecting the coming of one that fits the discription of the anti-christ. Remember that Biblically, the anti-christ will hate the jews and christians. Just google islam and anti-christ.

Islam's future coming saviour will be Christian's anti-christ. Just google.

instead of you to luk at the topic and leave religious issue out of it dumb ass.
