I would advise against combining med school and ALX especially as a newbie in tech. ALX is too time demanding, even for pros. I will advise you to teach yourself programming. When you are a bit grounded, 6 months, you can apply for ALX.

The one for personal prayer room is the one I usually experience. Apostle Paul told the Corinthian church He spoke in tongues more than them all. How to arrange a public service, so he told them to speak in tongues as a part of their public Church service only if it will be interpreted. As for during personal prayers, he said,
In 1 Cor 14:14-15, For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prays, but my mind is unfruitful. 15 So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my understanding; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my understanding.
What he was trying to say is, when he is praying in tongues, in private, he doesn't understand the mysteries he is saying, so he prays both in words and in tongues so he can be edified(built up).
However, I won't stress much explaining to you, as at 2020, I was laughing at people who prayed in tongues too, so no need of stressing it out, because you can never understand with your flesh. Only God can reveal it to you. My prayer for you is may He reveal it to you, in Jesus name.

At times, when I sing in private, I start singing in tongues too, not consciously, the Spirit gives me utterance. It is also possible that when some ministers are recording their songs in high Spirit-filled atmosphere, they too can break in tongues. I spent 20yrs of my Christian life insulting those who speak in tongues. Two years ago, I was singing with all my heart, after sometime, I realised I was no longer singing in English but in tongues, I felt so much peace, since then I've been speaking in tongues. Please, I beg you all in the Name of God, don't be like my past self insulting the Precious Holy Spirit and His precious gift of speaking in tongues. If you have never experienced it, just pray for Him to reveal Himself to you. He had mercy on me and showed me Grace even though, I never prayed for one day to speak in tongues.

I have preached against it and will continue to prove to him that hard-work pays, if I should accept this pc then I have defeated that purpose.

So I have this administrative job that pays me 100k on the island in Lagos. The job doesn't actually afford me any opportunity to grow and I have done a serious introspection of what the future holds and I am not particularly pleased with my analysis.

Be ready to suffer for few months and reap a good harvest for life. I will advise you to go through a school that offers linking their Graduates to jobs, that's the fastest route to getting a Tech job in Nigeria in my opinion. Like Income Sharing Agreement, schools like Decagon, stutern, altschool. that way in 8months you might have a job, though you will give them a percentage of your salary for months, but it is worth it.

3. It's not a waste of time to me. I have learnt a whole lot, especially in problem solving, Algorithms, version control and Linux.
