Four persons have been arraigned before a magistrate’s court at Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State for conspiracy and defilement to be remanded in Agodi prison custody till January 27.

The accused’s names were listed as Emmanuel Abiola (64) a.k.a. Old Soldier, Mohammed Sanni (35), Kabiru Mohammed (25), Sakiru Sokoto (20), Eze Ndubuisi (26), Mohammed Sefiu (21) and Mohammed Bashir (20).

In a suit with number MI/1516C/2013, the accused persons were said to have “conspired together to commit felony to wit defilement, contrary to and punishable under section 516 of the criminal code cap 38 vol. 2 laws of Oyo State of Nigeria 2000.”

Baby factory: Another building demolished in AbiaUMUAHIA — LESS than a week after the Abia State government demolished a five-storey building used as a baby factory home in Aba, another uncompleted building has been demolished, this time, at Umuobia Olokoro in Umuahia South Local Government Area of the state.
The government said the demolished uncompleted building was being used as baby sales point.
Speaking during the demolition exercise, Special Adviser to the Governor on Security and Task Force Matters, Captain Awa Udonsi Agwu (rtd), explained that the state government had zero tolerance for crime.

Tarkwa Circuit court has sentenced Philip Osei Tutu, a 38-year old pastor of the Abuakwa branch of Miracle House Ministry in the Ashanti Region, to 20 years imprisonment with hard labour for raping a 19-year old deaf and dumb woman who is seven months pregnant.

According to report, the accused on December 1 went for preaching and deliverance in Asankra-Saa and on December 3, the victim and her colleague Rita Adofo were walking by when the pastor called and told them that Adofo will not live to celebrate the Christmas festivity and Arthur will also not have safe delivery.

He then invited the two of them to his house for special prayers and deliverance.

A female yam seller on Wednesday stabbed a middle-age man to death in Abuja.
A source in the market along the Herbert Macaulay Way in the central business district of the FCT, said the assailant and the man argued over N100 before the woman took hold of a knife and stabbed the man, which led to his death. Sympathisers later took away the body of the deceased while the police had been informed.

Lust is a physical emotion and reaction to someone else’s physical appearance. It’s when you’re sexually attracted to a guy and want him only for s*x. It just means that things are ebbing, and change and growth are taking place.

Love is an inside job. We tend to look for love from someone else, not realizing that love is actually within. Love is about loving yourself first so that you are whole and not looking for someone else to complete you. The quality of your love life is a direct reflection on how much (or little) you care for and love yourself. The more you love yourself, the more you attract a guy who will love you just as much.

Love is a way of being. Love is experienced in the present moment. When you are present, negative thoughts and feelings fall away, making space for gratitude, kindness and loving energy. Being present with your partner lets you see him through fresh eyes and keeps you in love. Being present helps you express yourself more openly, building a deeper connection.

Love is a choice. It’s easy to choose love when things are going really well. And when insecurities and fears come up, choosing love is where your greatest growth happens. Love is choosing we over me, unless you’re in an abusive relationship. It’s being considerate of your partner and making choices for the greater good of your relationship.

Love is built on a strong foundation. Building a strong foundation of love happens by being the best version of you, taking the time to learn about each other, appreciating and accepting each other’s qualities, quirks and differences, being there through thick and thin, resolving differences in a respectful manner and letting him be who he is without trying to change him.
