What of the ones they have seen? Did anyone believe them.

In fact, I so much love Christianity as it allows itself to be questioned, can anyone question any imam on any subject matter?

How many Imams have come out to prophesied? The Imams are busy doing their act of worship and praying for salvation. Before you compare look well. If any Imam come out to talk nonsense in the name of prophecy it is we the muslims that'll expose his evil. Because muslims know the basic foundation of Islam because it is not about what the Imam say, it is about what is in the scripture. And one of such is that no one knows future except Allah.

Primate Ayodele prophesied it that a virus worst than ebola would come sometimes in 2015/16.

Ok, if that's his prophecy don't celebrate too quick because is yet to be fulfilled. Ebola is worse than coronavirus in every sense. Ebola only take a week to manifest and kill within 21 days. It also has 40% death rate (check WHO). But coronavirus takes 28 days to be detected and it doesn't kill as quickly as Ebola. So far it has just 2% death rate. Keep defending pastors at your peril.

The Nigeria Police Force yesterday released names of successful applicants in the latest recruitment exercise. The Federal High Court, Abuja, had on Wednesday ordered the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu and the Police Service Commission to maintain a status quo on the ongoing recruitment of 10, 000 constables.

Justice Inyang Ekwo gave the order at the hearing of the case brought by the PSC against the IGP. The PSC had brought the matter before the court, asking it to stop Adamu from continuing the recruitment exercise for usurping the power of the commission.

A post last night on the verified Twitter handle of the Nigeria Police Force,@policeng, said the IGP had vetted the list. “List of successful candidates in the 2019 recruitment exercise into the nigeria police force 24th october, 2019 “The IGP has vetted and given approval for the release of the final and authenticated list of successful candidates who participated in the ongoing recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Police Force. Politics / Re: Jonathan Vatsa: Igbo Presidency In 2023 Is A Right, Not A Privilege by teejona(m): 8:03am On Oct 19, 2019
SalemCiti:
An All Progressives Congress chief in Niger State, Jonathan Vatsa, has said the emergence of Nigeria’s President from the South-East in 2023 is a right and not a privilege.

Addressing journalists in Minna, Niger State capital on Friday, Vatsa, who is a former Niger State commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, said every well-meaning Nigerian, good Christian and Muslim must support a President of Nigeria of South-East extraction.

“If Nigerians have conscience, equity and justice demand that they should allow the Igbo to produce the next President in 2023.

“I am convinced that the Igbo have made their consultations from the North, South and the majority of them are in support of a Nigerian President of Igbo extraction.”

He expressed displeasure that some politicians from the North had called for the cancelation of rotational presidency between the North and South for what they termed meritocracy.

Vatsa said Ndigbo were highly detribalised and could be found in the remotest villages in Nigeria, living peacefully and doing their businesses and paying taxes.

He condemned the Arewa agitation for power to remain in the north, saying, “A lot of Arewa officials have been speaking that power should remain in the North as if it is their birthright; Nigeria belong to all of us and it is bigger than what we think it is. In the spirit of fairness, if we really want to be together, the Igbo should be given a chance in 2023.

“Apart from the time of Dr Nnamdi Azikwe and General Aguiyi Ironsi, we have never had Igbo President; so the Igbo should rise up and take what is due to them. The northerners are ready to support them and I am calling on the Igbo to speak with one voice if they must win in 2023. They must come together and forget their differences.”

He however warned that the Igbo should watch out for those who would collect money either from the north or South-West to sell their conscience, adding that the Igbo man should not be treated as second citizens in Nigeria.

Source:https://punchng.com/igbo-presidency-a-right-not-privilege-vatsa/

Whie I totally agree with him that an igbo man should be president in the next political dispensation, I want to differ on his choice of words, it is not an exclusive right. Every Nigerian has the right to contest according to the Nigerian constitution. Power is not given on a platter of gold if we must be truthful to ourselves. The igbos need to mount strategies to win the heart of majority of Nigerian citizens. Particularly they really need to stop playing politics of bitterness, hatred and what have you. How can you show me open hatred, you believe some section of the country are not even human beings, you believe they are all things defined by "bad" and you expect them to entrust their lives in you? It doesn't add up this way.

peace!

*UNIZIK SUG election goes Digital*

The 2019 Students Union Government election held on friday 4th September 2019 was electronically based. The election commenced at 8:00am and ended by 2pm today.

Students voted at the comfort of their homes and classrooms while the University provided free Wi-Fi at the university Library for students to use freely and vote just by logging on to the election portal with their Registration Numbers and a personalized code sent to their numbers.

The progress of the election was monitored from the Situation Room by members of the Electoral Board, Candidates' agents, security agents as well as members of the University Press.

This is a new milestone in SUG elections in Nigerian tertiary institutions and will most likely be copied by other universities.

Politics / Re: Shehu Sani Mocks Gov. El-Rufai For Enrolling His Son In Public School by teejona(m): 4:31pm On Sep 25, 2019
Elchicolo:
Immediate past Senator who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, Senator Shehu Sani, has described Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s enrolment of his son in a public school as a political stunt for 2023.

He said the action is clownish, comical and deceptive.

Addressing journalists in Kaduna, Senator Sani said, “His action was simply a 2023 political stunt set up for the media and people who reside outside Kaduna.

“For people who reside in Kaduna, they know what public primary school look like in the state, they know where they are located and the problems they are facing.

“It is not because I have a political difference with him, no, but for whoever lives in Kaduna state knew that what the governor did with his son by enrolling him into public school was just a comedy.

“It was a badly written Kannywood or Nolywood script. I know the governor likes Kannywood and Nolywood actors and actresses, but as far as l am concerned, that was a bad and poorly written script for the media in preparatory for 2023 and nothing else.

“He would have done better by upgrading schools in Kaduna, you cannot spend N195m in a particular school and then take your son and the media to that school and think you have done anything different.

“Let me tell you, we had a governor in this state, Balarabe Musa, who has never lived in government house during his reign and all that while he was a governor he lived in his private house and I also know that the children of former governor Ahmed Makarfi attended this same Capital School. I also know that other public officials’ children go to that school too. So if you are not been corny, deceptive and comical, you would have allowed all your children to enrol into public schools. Public school doesn’t mean primary schools alone, there are public secondary schools and public universities.

“We have Kaduna State University, KASU which is a public University and we have several public secondary schools in the state. During Sallah, we saw the governor with a lot of his children and all of a sudden, you picked one of them and said oh, take him to Capital School, I think the governor is becoming a bad representation of Baba Sala, I Go Die and Basket Mouth, a kind of comedy situation. He is not new in this kind of drama. It was the same person who was moving around Kaduna—Abuja road and he went with cameras that he was chasing kidnappers, so this is a new script but as far as am concerned, that is comedy.

“Since we are in an era in this state of using public utilities, public hospitals, and now public schools, so it is also in order that public officials, both elected and appointed should also patronise public toilets in Kaduna. That is the highest form of patriotism and selfless service. You should use what the masses are using which is public toilets.

“As a governor of the state and as a leader, if it is good to patronise public schools by public servants, politicians and all of us should patronise public toilets like the one that is not far away from my office.”

https://dailypost.ng/2019/09/25/shehu-sani-mocks-gov-el-rufai-enrolling-son-public-school/

He has many children and only enrolled one into a public school. but how about you, how many do you have and how many of them are in public school?

MediaGuru36:
National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed confidence that his party would win the 2019 Kogi and Bayelsa states gubernatorial elections, Igbere TV reports.

Igbere TV reports that the former governor of Lagos State made the declaration while speaking at the birthday party of High Chief David Edebiri, a chieftain of the APC, in Benin City, on Saturday.

“I expect nothing less than victory in Kogi and Bayelsa States. Who is the other party?”, he said.

On complaints that Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has not done well for his people to win a second term, the APC national leader said there is no democracy without complaints.

“If you don’t have complaints in politics, then there is no democracy so we only pay attention to the noise in the market because we have so many apples, oranges and various fruits of different character but there is one thing that is consistent”, he said.

“This is a market of many branches and this is the broom; they will come together as a bunch to sweep clean all the debris of the past, that is it, we are going to win”, Bola Tinubu added.

He, therefore, called on the people of Kogi to vote again for the party and Governor Bello in the Nov. 16 governorship election, while calling on Bayelsans to join what he termed “the progressives.”

With Asiwaju Tinubu in Benin City on Saturday, was Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress and two-time governor of Edo State, reports Igbere TV.
