nwanne no need for any tribalistic jargon here... We won and won well. Just allow Ihenacho to blend well with the rest of the team like Akpoberie said and he`ll still shine.

@op - Instead of just giving us a picture of the front row in chruch yesterday, maybe you should share the sermon of the bishop who preached? It`ll be more enriching.
Education / Re: Fuel Scarcity. Choba Campus In Uniport Shut Down by Teeted: 4:09pm On May 25, 2015
Maybe they should just take the lockdown from the school to the streets; enough is enough! Even the authorities are not even flexing a muscle, like they don`t care. Just imagine that from Choba junction to school gate(AP) is now #100 instead of maybe #30/#50; Choba to Rumuokoro is now #250 instead of #100. Wahala dey oo... Who is even gaining in/from all this mess?

Politics / Re: 10 Evil Corporations Nigerians Patronize Everyday by Teeted: 1:22pm On Oct 31, 2014
“All the mega corporations on the planet make their obscene profits off the labor and suffering of others, with complete disregard for the effects on the workers, environment, and future generations. As with the banking sector, they play games with the lives of millions, hysterically reject any kind of government intervention when the profits are rolling in, but are quick to pass the bill for the cleanup and the far-reaching consequences of these avoidable tragedies to the public when things go wrong. We have a straightforward proposal: if they want public money, we want public control. It's that simple.”
― Michael Hureaux-Perez

“The rich run a global system that allows them to accumulate capital and pay the lowest possible price for labour. The freedom that results applies only to them. The many simply have to work harder, in conditions that grow ever more insecure, to enrich the few. Democratic politics, which purports to enrich the many, is actually in the pocket of those bankers, media barons and other moguls who run and own everything.”
― Charles Moore

“The bourgeoisie, wherever it has got the upper hand, has put an end to all feudal, patriarchal, idyllic relations. It has pitilessly torn asunder the motley feudal ties that bound man to his 'natural superiors,' and has left remaining no other nexus between man and man than naked self-interest, callous 'cash payment.' It has drowned the most heavenly ecstasies of religious fervor, of chivalrous enthusiasm, of philistine sentimentalism, in the icy water of egotistical calculation. It has resolved personal worth into exchange value, and in place of the numberless indefeasible chartered freedoms, has set up that single, unconscionable freedom—Free Trade. In one word, for exploitation, veiled by religious and political illusions, it has substituted naked, shameless, direct, brutal exploitation.

The bourgeoisie has stripped of its halo every occupation hitherto honored and looked up to with reverent awe. It has converted the physician, the lawyer, the priest, the poet, the man of science, into its paid wage laborers.

The bourgeoisie has torn away from the family its sentimental veil, and has reduced the family relation to a mere money relation.”
― Karl Marx

“In every age it has been the tyrant, the oppressor and the exploiter who has wrapped himself in the cloak of patriotism, or religion, or both to deceive and overawe the People."

(Canton, OH, Anti-War Speech, June 16, 1918)”
― Eugene V. Debs,

“In war, the strong make slaves of the weak, and in peace the rich makes slaves of the poor.”
― Oscar Wilde

“I believe that there will be ultimately be a clash between the oppressed and those who do the oppressing. I believe that there will be a clash between those who want freedom, justice and equality for everyone and those who want to continue the system of exploitation. I believe that there will be that kind of clash, but I don't think it will be based on the color of the skin...”

@teeted all those quotes are for who?

There you go again...

“Any fool can know. The point is to understand.”
― Albert Einstein

“I lie to myself all the time. But I never believe me.”
― S.E. Hinton

“Above all, don't lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love.”
― Fyodor Dostoyevsky

“There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.”
― Søren Kierkegaard

Quite sad; but I don't even know how to blame.

sadParents lipsrsealed

Most of our parents who did well during their time, did so because our grand-parents/great-grand-parents trained(disciplined) them well. But maybe the character couldn't be inculcated in most of them for posterity.

oladistinct: Why on earth should u ask the ever knowing and ever present god for that? god should be smarter than that now, after all we didn't ask him to create us in the first instance yet he created us, why should we now open our heart and look forward to him revealing himself to us. If indeed he is the almighty, he should have come up with a plan to clear the air all this while. Maybe he is now in extinction sha
